Beautiful Shan Temple with great views
You can see this temple from afar. It is the Thai version of the Golden Rock in Myanmar. It is worth visiting Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching just because the great views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao.
Lovely stop in the way back from the hot springs
If you go to the hot springs and sticky waterfall at the national park north of chaing dao, stop by this beautiful temple (remember to cover your knees and shoulders). You need a bike to get up here,...
There's a rock like the Golden Rock.
There is a rock that looks like the Golden Rock in Myanmar. The golden pagoda and the calm atmosphere of the hall are also highlights. I went by motorcycle from Chiang Mai, but the road was paved and it was a good touring for about an hour and a half.
