I'm not very familiar with Japanese history, but Mr. Kitahata is a Sengoku daimyo who ruled this area, and it is a shrine near his old house. It's not a tourist spot, but it was compact and beautiful.
Kitabatake Shrine is a shrine that is enshrined at the site of Taki Gosho (Kitabatake Shrine), which is the residence of Mr. Taki Kitabatake in peacetime, so the stone wall of the medieval castle building remains in the precincts. There is also a garden of the Kitabatake Shrine, which retains the remnants of the medieval period.
