About 30 minutes walk from Uchiko station. It is located on the outskirts of Uchiko's old townscape. A temple of the Soto sect founded as Jokyuji Temple in 1441. Moved to its current location in 1533. After the death of Takamasa Sone, who was the lord of Kita County where he had an inner child and was used as the family temple of 々, he took his name and renamed it to the current temple name. The principal image is Holy Kanzeon Bosatsu. The 50th Temple of the Shin-Shikoku Mandala Sacred Ground. A large reclining Buddha (built in 1998) is enshrined in front of the mountain gate (romon gate). When you pass through the mountain gate, you will find Nakajaku ... in the corridor connecting the left and right Mido.
