Retro architecture in government style

When I visited the church, I stopped by knowing that it was a retro architecture. To be honest, I was disappointed with the style of government offices that seemed to be everywhere without any unusual features.

The door was open, so I entered the Showakan. It was spectacular. When I looked it up, it seems to be a prefectural office that has been used since the Showa era. I liked the design of the stairs, the lamp shade, everything was cute.

On the way back to the observatory of the prefectural office, I stopped by because I was curious about the building next to it. The history of Tochigi and the guest room are open to the public. Personally, it is a tile notation of "three" on the stairs on the 3rd floor. It was full of retro feeling, but it was cute.

The front part of the 4th generation prefectural government building in Tochigi Prefecture, which was used for 65 years from 1938 to 2003, was relocated and the entire building was restored and maintained. It has a profound appearance of modern architecture in the early Showa period, but as a historical fan, it is regrettable that everything, including the restored interior, is too beautiful. In the permanent exhibition room, I was interested in the history and industry of Tochigi Prefecture and municipalities, and I fell in love with the old photos of the decorative prefectural government building completed in 1884.
