Drove here the other evening and throughly enjoyed the journey. The beach is sandy and enjoyable and very suitable for dogs as we met many. There is a campsite here so a great place to spend time.

Lovely place to spend time.
Wonderful white sand and warm sea, in summer. A great place for my grandchildren to visit, the ones who like flat beaches with no rocks to explore.
A must see Hawke’s Bay Beach
Stunning beach. Sandy not prebbly like up Napier way. Good surf in right conditions. Views out to Bare Island are beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Further from Hastings etc but nice drive.
Close parking nice beach. Busy on holiday days but worth the effort. As always care needed because of surf but worth a visit.
