Migong Temple

Migong Temple, formerly known as Baojinzhai, is located in Wuwei Lake, Anhui, and is now Wuwei Library, located on Xinli Avenue. It is 4 kilometers southwest of the Golden Tower. It was built when Mi Yan Ren Wuwei Zhijun, a famous calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. The Migong Temple covers an area of about 17,000 square meters and the total construction area is about 2,660 square meters. The park has Migong Temple, Baojinzhai, Jushan Pavilion, Zhudeep Bamboo, Guxinghua Spring Well, Touching Pavilion, Mochi, Baishi and so on.

The Migong Temple commemorating Mi Yan represents the treasure of Wuwei culture! Mi Yan is a famous calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty of China, with high talent, Xiao San, and the world name Mi Yan. Three years ago, Mi Yan was appointed as Wuwei Army at the age of 53, and came to Wuwei County, which is a remote fashion. After taking office, Mi Yan chose to live in the west of the army, because he loved the calligraphy of King Yuzhi and others in the Jin Dynasty, so he named the residence Baojinzhai, now the Migong Temple. There is a pond in the Migong Temple called the Mochi, and there is a hexagonal umbrella pavilion in the pool called the investment pavilion. There is also a very interesting story about this pool and pavilion.

This is the second time to come to Migong Temple, this is one of the few historical relics of Wuwei City, there are two more, one is the Golden Tower, one is the millennium tower, the other is the ancient city wall site. These three are the most important historical relics of the city I know, and are also a window for us to visit and understand the inaction of the millennium ancient city.
