From the prefectural road, there is a sober parking lot and a signboard in 2 and 3 minutes. If you walk about 5 on a narrow mountain road without guidance, you will reach the intertwined banyan forest. It's a little-known spot where no one comes, but it's powerful.
There was no one there because it was daytime on weekdays. It was a relaxing space where you could only hear the murmuring of the river and the chirping of birds. The banyan is a beauty that can be entangled in a 々 direction and is fascinated. Worth a look if you have time! !!
It was raining, so if you walk a little on an unpaved road with only puddles, the native banyan tree is amazing. It's as if you're a dwarf and under the roots of a plant. There is no artificial place at all, really wild! It is also a good place where it is not a tourist destination. It is free.
I went to July 2017. This time, I went around minor places on Yakushima, which I have never been to before. There is a parking lot just off the Yakushima roundabout road. If you park your car there and walk into the forest for about 4 to 5 minutes, there is a place where banyan trees are densely populated, and Sarukawa banyan trees appear. I would recommend the middle banyan that I went after this.
There is a sign on the prefectural road, and if you go a little, there is a parking lot, and if you walk on the sidewalk in the mountains for about 5 minutes, you will see a large banyan tree. It's not a paved road, so it may not be recommended on rainy days.
