God for study
It is a small old temple in downtown Yilan. As I visited, there was nobody. But before the season of examinations, many candidates come here to pray for passing their exams.
I stopped by on the route when I returned to the station on foot from Yilan Brewery. From the station, I think it's about a 12 minute walk. There is a gate facing the road, and if you go further from there, you will find an altar in the back of the small interior. It is a mausoleum that enshrines the god of learning.
You can walk from Yilan Station in about 10 minutes.
