Great experience! The two ladies of the staff have been extremely nice. They helped us in every way they could. The hostel has amazing shared spaces, plenty of sunlight and plants (+ three cute birds!). The room has what you need, simple and neat.
We liked our stay very much :)

Hilton's quality is consistently reliable. The rooms come standard with humidifiers, perfect for the dry高原 climate. There's 24-hour laundry (washer and dryer in one). Breakfast includes yak yogurt and ga mian pian (local noodles). It's super convenient for visiting Ta'er Monastery and Qinghai Lake. Located on a main thoroughfare in Chengdong District, parking is free and ample. Upon check-in, they offer hot ginger tea to help with altitude sickness. The bedding is soft and the soundproofing is excellent. It's a top choice for a rest stop on a road trip.

SLxiaofanqieMy stay at Guanhu Hotel was absolutely fantastic, the best and most comfortable experience I've had during my trips to Qinghai Lake. I genuinely recommend it! The overall hotel experience was impeccable; cleanliness, facilities, and service were all top-notch, offering incredible value for money.
A special shout-out to the hotel's personal butler, 'Little Seagull,' who was the absolute highlight of my stay! The service was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, with prompt responses, gentleness, and patience throughout. Before check-in, they proactively informed me about all the necessary details. During my stay, no matter how small the request, they quickly helped resolve it. They also thoughtfully recommended local attractions and delicious food, answering every question and providing thorough service. This made the entire trip worry-free and heartwarming. The professional and attentive service truly made me feel valued.
The hotel facilities are brand new, well-maintained, and comprehensive. The room was spacious and tidy, with a cozy and comfortable layout. The bedding was soft and clean, and amenities like the bathroom, internet, and lighting all worked perfectly, providing an excellent living experience. All daily necessities were available, ensuring a stable and relaxing stay.
The restaurant's hygiene was exceptionally well-managed. The environment was clean and bright, with tables, chairs, and tableware meticulously cleaned and disinfected daily, leaving no unhygienic spots. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was clean and delicious with a rich variety. The dining environment was tidy and comfortable, making me feel completely at ease while eating.
The entire hotel was thoroughly cleaned, and common areas were consistently kept neat and tidy, creating a quiet and healing atmosphere. All staff members were exceptionally friendly, and I encountered no unpleasant issues whatsoever. It was full of thoughtful details. The next time I visit Qinghai Lake, I will definitely choose Guanhu Hotel again and recommend it to my friends who are traveling!

This is an older hotel, but it's clean and well-maintained. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room, so we had a lovely view of Nanshan Mountain. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, and nearby Jiaxiaolane offers plenty of food and shopping options. Definitely recommend for a trip to Xining!

I stumbled upon this hotel on Ctrip and was captivated by its setting from the first sight. Upon arrival, the experience far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel is nestled in the mountains surrounding Jianzha County. The view from your room feels like you're stepping into a Windows background. Opening the door, you'll be greeted by vast, rolling grasslands, dotted with herders' homes. Every morning, a herd of yaks leisurely ”visits” the hotel, foraging on the grass. Besides the yaks, you can also spot eagles soaring through the windows. While enjoying breakfast, I was even lucky enough to witness this nationally protected species strolling through the hotel grounds. At night, ascending to the rooftop, the starry sky feels almost within reach; it's said that on new moon nights, the Milky Way can be clearly seen stretching across the sky with the naked eye.
The nearby Kanbula Forest Park is a treasure trove of wonders. The awe-inspiring experience is beyond words, like stepping into Middle-earth from ”The Lord of the Rings.”
The hotel's service is equally astonishing. Aside from the owner, the staff are mostly friendly ******* men and women. From the moment we arrived, they enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants and attractions. During our stay, they were incredibly responsive, going above and beyond to meet our every need, sharing any special sights they discovered. The entire hotel exudes a customer-centric, attentive atmosphere and a warm, personal touch. A special mention must go to the front desk attendant, Leng Ben, who was not only welcoming and attentive, but also meticulously prepared drinks for us when we requested to use the bar, chatted with us about local culture and interesting stories, and even worked late into the morning without complaint.
The only caveat is that the mountain road can be quite bumpy, so novice drivers should exercise caution.
In short, for anyone with a confident driving aptitude, this hotel is highly recommended! If your travel route takes you nearby, it's a no-brainer! The hotel itself and the stunning surrounding scenery are worth a dedicated trip.

Guest UserChoosing this hotel for our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip, the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. The location is incredibly convenient; for those driving, there's a large, free parking lot, and it's a short drive to nearby grasslands and salt lake attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, with soft and fluffy bedding. The humidifier was a perfect touch, wonderfully alleviating the discomfort of the dry northwest climate, and the 24-hour constant temperature hot water made showering extra relaxing after long days of sightseeing. The front desk staff were thoughtful and attentive, proactively recommending local delicacies and stargazing spots. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. The public area features a self-service laundry room with a dryer, which was great for quickly cleaning dusty clothes from the road. The hotel's soundproofing was excellent; it was quiet and peaceful at night, allowing us to fully recover from travel fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, including local specialty snacks, and the value for money was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Qinghai, and I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip.

TuanzigegeaI was just planning a standard stay, but unexpectedly, the weather suddenly turned cold overnight. To my surprise, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and offered a free upgrade to a deluxe suite, which instantly made the experience fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable, with brand new, well-equipped facilities. For a place like Lenghu, it completely exceeded my expectations. The service was warm, attentive, and very detailed, making it feel truly like home. If you're coming to Lenghu, you absolutely must stay at the Xingqiong Secluded Realm Quality Hotel – you won't regret it. I've already highly recommended it to my friends!

The hotel lobby is shown here. The rooms are located in a separate building next door, and the style and facilities are quite different from the main building. It was quite a psychological difference. I didn't see any oxygen generators or other equipment. The upside is that it's close to the scenic area, only about 10 to 20 minutes by car from the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area. Downstairs, there's a row of small restaurants, and the prices are a bit pricey but acceptable.

Hygiene: When the room is vacant, the window is open, so there will be dust in the room. There were dead mosquitoes on my bed sheet (I cleaned it myself). People with strong cleanliness obsession should consider it carefully;
Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it;
Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon.
Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature.
Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel;
Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience.
Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

You can tell the owner is trying hard to run the business well; the rooms are large and airy. Even at high altitude, my friend and I didn't experience any discomfort. The front desk had oxygen bags, which they filled for us, but we didn't need them. Thank you for the complimentary afternoon tea—it was delicious! The front desk staff were great. The only downside was the breakfast; could the congee be served without salt, and could there be a little more side dishes? Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the coffee I wanted… but I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. Overall, it's the best place in the area.
