CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

GGuest UserHad a change of plans and was not able to make this trip to Reims and therefore wanted to try cancel with Trip.com despite booking a non cancellable reservation. In the end, it was sadly not possible as the parties involved were unwilling to be accommodating so in the end I had to rearrange my schedule to avoid losing USD 200.  The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was friendly and welcoming. He suggested we use the entrance with the ramp to bring up our luggage instead of the more conspicuous swing doors.  The room was on 6F and was ok. For the price I was hoping for more space. There is a weird shelf ledge against the wall where the TV is that was spanning across multiple walls that was annoying and dangerous since it was set at around 1.5 meters high off the ground. I bumped my shoulder a few times so it really is a hazard and should be removed if it isn’t purposeful.  The room is otherwise furnished in a modern and simple way. Wooden floors and plain wall tiles make it look clean and well kept.  The LED lighting strips in the walls and ceiling are distracting and would be better to be removed. It’s hard to watch TV with the glare and reflections off the flatscreen.  Minimal amenities and breakfast not included. Shower pressure was not strong and so I took longer than usual. All in all, I would imagine this to be 20-30% cheaper for what was on offer in terms of experience and furnishings.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location, cleanliness, and wonderful breakfast made us feel every moment how good a choice we had made. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, the pleasant atmosphere in the courtyard, the parquet flooring instead of carpet in the rooms, the delicious food, and the fact that it provided all the comfort and quality expected of a holiday, all made me choose the same hotel again. I hope you also leave the hotel feeling peaceful and happy like we did 💯

李李圓園The location is good, just across the bridge is the Notre Dame Cathedral. However, if you drive by yourself, only licensed vehicles can enter the area near the hotel. It is renovated on a historical building. The exposed wooden building is very unique and the experience is good. Although there is no elevator, there are staff who take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. Street parking in Strasbourg is very expensive, 3.5 euros an hour; hotel parking lot 30 euros a day; the hotel introduced a nearby parking lot, parking for about 16 hours, 16 euros.

AAnonymous UserHonestly one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The reading light at my bed didn’t work and it never got fixed even after I told the staff. The rain shower was impossible to adjust — the water was way too hot. No hair dryer available either. The bed also had a weird sticky smell which wasn’t pleasant. Pros: Location is great, easy walking distance to main attractions like Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The building and neighborhood look nice. Common space atmosphere is great and hype. Average service from teenager staffs.

Llena_wnVery convenient location, but room cleanliness could use a double verification (hair under pillow, dusty). Apart from that, the view was beautiful and I’m glad I stayed there instead of the city center. For a few days, it’s a great choice. Staff is very kind, too and the hotel restaurant and breakfast is amazing.

AAmerica7146Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience. The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing. We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating. In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.

AAnonymous UserGreat location between the train station and the Christmas market (main town). The morning-shift staff made me feel a little uncomfortable, they didn’t allow me to bring my small luggage into the breakfast room which I understood, but afterward two men (different time/room) were allowed to bring their checked luggage and sat right next to me that made me wonder why.. But despite that, the stay was really good

SSuantouJEWELIn Petite France, despite being surrounded by tourists, the noise level was surprisingly low, making for a very comfortable stay. Facilities: The hotel has four floors; the elevator takes you to the third floor, and staff helped with luggage to the fourth floor. Someone also offered assistance when checking out by phone. The room's decor shows signs of age, with some rotten wood, but efforts were made to preserve it. The view from the window was beautiful. There's a spa and facial service on the first floor. Each room has one hour of central shower and sauna time per day, but it's not separated for men and women; bringing a swimsuit is recommended. Cleanliness: Showers and toilets are separate and very clean. Environment: The interior is quiet and comfortable, and the surrounding architecture creates a sense of tranquility. Service: Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff was very welcoming. P.S. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was delicious. Eggs are available, and coffee and tea are also included.
