I asked for a quiet room and was placed on 1st floor however in a room closest to the main road with lots of traffic noise and there was construction going on nearby with constant drilling and noise until 4am so I never managed to sleep for most of the night, meaning that I couldn’t get up early to use the facilities. It’s not the staffs fault, but just be careful when booking.

On arrival we were met with a very run down looking hotel, which needed a fresh coat of paint and the missing letters from the hotel name replaced. However, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and food in the bar was very good. Lovely swimming pool, which was an added bonus. Our room was however small and dark, with low lighting and we hardly had any channels on our tv due to poor signal. There is no lift at the hotel so not ideal for anyone with health issues. This was our most expensive hotel during our mini tour of Scotland and definitely our worst room

The spirit of the Highwayman is alive and we'll and to be found in Inverness! The Glenmhor is a good hotel, well appointed and in a very convenient location. Staff are friendly and while the breakfast is not the best, it is adequate. When I visited the food was not hot and only scrambled egg was on offer. Here's the main gripe. BEFORE BOOKING READ THE SMALL PRINT. If you are driving you will pay an extra £12 per night for the privilege of using the hotel car park which is not secure and open to the public. The cost is simple scandalous and blatant gouging. The very helpful reception staff pointed out that guests actually have a discounted rate! Umm? 🤔 Neither is it reasonable to blame outsourcing of the carpark to a contractor; the car park belongs to the hotelier! 😠 After discovering that another nearby hotel (The Craigmonie) had recently started charging £6/night, I decided not to use it again out of principle. Such charges for guests already paying exorbitant room rates is nothing short of daylight (or rather, night-time) robbery. I travel through Inverness frequently but I will not use the Glenmhor again, out of principle. Inverness hoteliers have simply become greedy. For an overnight bed, either go budget (Travelodge) or look outside of the city.

Really great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.

Questions emailed to the hotel prior to our arrival was answered quickly and was very helpful.  A very warm welcome on arrival by Miss Mary who was also the one who wa replying to our emails.  Friendly staff. Gave us great suggestions on what to see and do in the area.  We highly recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed here recently when i was touring Scotland. A very nice hotel. Location quite far from Inverness city centre. There is no expressway to and from this hotel at the airport. So the drive can be slow due to the small roads. The close proximity to the airport does not present any aircraft noise problem. But I could hear my neighbour's hair dryer. I like the size of the room and the bathroom. Larger than most hotels. I particularly like the walkin shower as my wife and I can't climb in and out of bath tubs. The breakfast was great even though the variety of choices may not be as large as other Marriott brands of hotels. Fried eggs need to be ordered. The sunnyside up was the best i have eaten. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful. You must register your car to avoid being charged. But I am sure with the many talents in the entire Marriott group, I am sure they can think of a better way to manage the parking system without their customers complaining on Internet. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was the perfect base for traveling The Isle of Skye! Check in was easy, there were lots of parking (some close, some far), coffee and breakfast had some selections, we had dinner at the hotel too and it was great. It says that there might not be warm water at all times, but we had warm water every time we showered with great water pressure! This was an affordable and easy place!

When we arrived all the available car parking was full and we ended up parking in the next street outside someone's house. The room was compact which we expected as we had booked a small room. Check in was very quick and information was given to us regarding the hotel and breakfast. Our room was very clean, if a little dated. When we switched on the TV it would not screen any programs. We phoned reception and they sent someone within five minutes to sort out the problem which turned out to be a fault with the aerial cable. Breakfast was well organised and the service and food quality and selection was good. Overall the hotel was convenient and ideal for us on a one night stay on our way back from the Hebrides and we would certainly stay here again if we do the same journey in the future

Very clean room and extremely friendly service! I also really enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is beautifully and quietly located just outside by Loch Linnhe. The only thing that needs an update is the carpet throughout the hotel, as it looks quite old-fashioned. But overall, it was a very good stay, especially because of the cleanliness of the room and the lovely staff!

The room was spacious enough for 3 people with luggages. The view from the room was very nice with the lake and mountains. Our room was at ground level so we had direct access from our room to outside which is the lakeside and it was very nice. but keep the doors closed all times after used as it is near the lakeside and ground level. we saw a snake (not poisonous) in the grass outside the room in the early morning. The foods and drinks at the restaurant was nice although abit pricey. The view from the restaurant during breakfast in the morning was beautiful. You can bring swimsuits if u want to use the Hot spring in the hotel. We didn’t get to use but it looked nice. There is a co-op near the hotel. The only thing I wish they were better during our stay was the attitude of some staffs. The guy with the bald head was kinda rude to us during breakfast.
