Nice and clean hotel with excellent service. Front desk was very helpful and recommended good eating places and helped take care of the car. Parking was very convenient just out in front of the hotel.

Close to the bus station and great staff. We arrived early for check in and they gave us an available room as we were tired from our journey and the hotel wasn’t fully booked. Good breakfast too. We enjoyed our time in Croatia.

Ten thousand times more beautiful than I imagined! Maybe it's because I checked in so late, but they upgraded me to this huge room. It's absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view, and the hygiene is excellent – very clean and bright. Highly recommend to everyone!

The Esplanade Hotel scores big on location — it's perfectly situated and hard to beat for exploring the area on foot. The beds were genuinely comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep. That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch. Overall a solid choice if location and sleep quality are your priorities — just be aware that the room itself has seen better days.

This Sheraton hotel is a bit far from the Old Town, about a ten-minute walk away. However, the city itself is quite walkable, and you can see all the sights on foot. The hotel offers a good breakfast with a wide variety of food. It also has a well-equipped gym and an indoor pool, which, while a bit small, is still a nice amenity.

In need of refurbishment from a cosmetic perspective, as the carpet in my hotel room was worn and tired. No body wash and had to ring housekeeping for refill… perhaps this should be checked regularly with cleaning. Cannot fault the care demonstrated towards guests and breakfast quality. A grand old lady of Zagreb that will always draw me to her. Fantastic location. Highly recommended.

The young lady receptionist was quite rude in a way she was trying to say that the luggage room has limited space. She kept saying that repeatedly with hard tonal voice. I think she should be trained how to give a sincere service to all guests, without race discrimination. Otherwise, the rest of staff team are nice and helpful. Room is nice, clean, and modern. There’s a supermarket (Lidle) nearby.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the location is ideal, close to the city center. Just a small downside regarding the buffet: the dishes were good, but they weren't refilled, which meant you couldn't always go back for more. We should have just ordered a meal directly instead.

The hotel is clean and basic amenities are provided. Reasonable with the price. Since I rely a lot on walking, the location is neither good nor bad. It was 2.5 km from the city center but since it is spring, the walk is really enjoyable.

I only now stay at this hotel when I am in Zagreb. From the moment you walk through the main doors and into the reception area, you are warmly acknowledged and greeted. You are a valued guest and are treated like one. Check in process is smooth and seamless. The room is well-appointed and given the time of the year, cosy and warm. The bed wa super comfortable and the pillows offered enough support to ensure a good nights' sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the heated towel rail was much appreciated. If you are so inclined, the mini bar is stocked and there is also excellent room service. The buffet breakfast is sensational- the best in Zagreb. Something for everyone and for all dietary requirements. The one thing that always impresses me here is the fact that all employees and acknowledge their guests- from the room attendants to the kitchen staff. I will alway come back to the Astoria Zagreb.
