Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was comfortable and provided a pleasant environment to relax. The location was also excellent, with restaurants and various attractions conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area.
Even though the hotel parking was full, the staff provided clear guidance and helpful instructions on alternative parking options nearby. Their assistance made the process smooth and hassle-free, which was greatly appreciated.
Excellent stay with overwater villas and equipped microwave for self cooking. Brand new property and cosy bed. Well worth the money on the way between Queenstown and Christchurch!
Nice sized rooms , no air-conditioning but there was a fan supplied and windows could be easily open. Super friendly staff all very welcoming. and plenty of hot and cold options for the buffet breakfast
The front desk staff were great, and the service was excellent. The room design was also nice, but there were three very large flies in the room. The shower design was poorly thought out, with no separation between the wet and dry areas, so the entire bathroom was soaked after a shower.
Very nice view that can see the lake and town centre at the opposite, friendly staff and the in-room dining was fabulous, I had Salmon & Cauliflower which is sooo good that I re-order on second day!
Parking was convenient, and it's not far from town or the attractions. The room was great with new facilities. The only issue was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying luggage upstairs a bit difficult. Overall, it offers great value for money.
We chose the Hilton again for our trip to Queenstown, New Zealand. While it's not right in the town center, transportation is super convenient. The hotel has its own water taxi that goes to and from the center daily. The first boat leaves at 8:15 AM, and then it's hourly after that. It costs 14 NZD per person and takes about 25 minutes. The last return trip is at 9:45 PM, and there's a timetable available at the front desk. The hotel is also only a ten-minute drive from the airport.
The hotel's setting and views are absolutely beautiful, right on the lake. You can take a lovely stroll along the lakeside in the mornings, and the restaurant is right there, so you can enjoy the lake view while you eat. The hotel has a Western restaurant, a bar and restaurant, and a coffee shop. The breakfast buffet is served in the Western restaurant and opens at 6 AM, which is great for guests who want to get an early start on their sightseeing. The food selection is comprehensive and tasty too! We had dinner at the Western restaurant on our first night and it was excellent, the steak was fantastic! The bar and restaurant is also good; on our last day, we got back late from our Milford Sound tour and just ordered pizza and beer at the bar. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The bar atmosphere was great too!
We booked a lake view king room, and the layout was nice, with full amenities. The hotel also has a pool, and the gym is open 24 hours. All in all, our stay and dining experience were very comfortable! Highly recommended!
Wonderful. Had the 2 bedroom apartment for sons graduation. Was spacious and all amenities provided including iron, hair dryer and microwave, fridge.
Was comfortable and warm. Great location and accessible parking.
The location is very good, the ground room, there is a small balcony directly to the outside, under the grape rack, there are tables and chairs to enjoy tea while watching the scenery, the transportation is convenient, the parking space is sufficient, it is a good hotel.
The hotel is not new, but the condition is maintained good, it was clean and comfortable, the location is right next to the road, but the noise of the road is not heard. For stopping on the road between the sights - perfect. There is a beautiful restaurant and petrol nearby.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite large with many rooms. I booked a twin room, and it was spacious with two comfortable and clean queen-sized beds. My room was on the third floor, at the corner, offering only a partial view of the lake. There were no kitchen facilities, so cooking wasn't an option. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the lake. It's about a 10-minute walk to Queenstown's center and its attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a car park, but parking comes with a fee. Breakfast is also an extra charge, but the quality was decent.
CCO518The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.
이이진희We chose this hotel because we expected to enjoy its winery/food. Otherwise, we should have stayed in Queenstown with a lot of restaurants and pubs.
As we would arrive in the early evening, we put a note for our hope for experiencing their winery and food (or at least finger foods) when we booked the hotel, and received email that they cannot guarantee but will do their best to serve our need. Since then, no email was sent to us. When we arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, no one was in the information desk, so we had to go to the bistro to find out that they left the key in a safe box without any notice or sending us any email with its password. We had to wait a while for the bistro lady to make a phone call to whom it concerns, which was okay. Worse, we heard that their bistro was reserved for a group event so we could not use the facility at all. We had to drive 15 minutes to a nearby town and bought foods from a supermarket. I think the hotel should have notified us of impossibility of using their bistro/food service due to the group event and we have to prepare for our food. As I checked out, I left a note about the issues, and expected they would send me an email to express their sincere apology. Unfortunately nothing happened so far. Although I liked the room as well as the whole place very much, I think Kinross cottage needs professionalism to run their stay program. It could have been much nicer, memorable stay experience.
CC_CXVery nice view that can see the lake and town centre at the opposite, friendly staff and the in-room dining was fabulous, I had Salmon & Cauliflower which is sooo good that I re-order on second day!
::))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!
MMandy PuaIt’s a vintage hotel, I’m surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach.
AAmber Jong“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!”
I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
AadolalalalaGreat location! Although there's a steep hill to the town center, it's only a few minutes' walk. They also offer free parking on a first-come, first-served basis. After we checked out, the front desk even let us move our car to another parking lot that didn't require a key card, which was really convenient since our main activities were in the town center. Excellent value for money!
TTiantiankanyangpaoWhat a pleasant surprise! The hotel offers a private washer and dryer, complete with single-use laundry detergent packets. Plus, there's a full set of dishes and a microwave, all immaculately clean – incredibly convenient! You can even catch glimpses of the lake from the hotel, making it quite good value for money.
The location is super convenient; most places are within a 10-minute walk. And the bus to Milford Sound can pick you up right at the doorstep, which is a huge plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, making for a great experience!
VVegetablegeService: The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. On my first night, I wasn't sure how to use the laundry room, and the lady at the front desk patiently came over to show me how. (Though doing laundry, drying, and detergent cost me $6 or $8, which stung a bit...)
Facilities: The room was quite spacious and even came with a bathtub, which was generally good. However, the bathtub had a really annoying flaw: the glass panel next to it wasn't fixed (and couldn't be fixed). This led to me slipping and falling while showering when I leaned on it. Although I wasn't seriously hurt, my arm ached for several days and had bruises. Also, the outdoor pool wasn't heated, which was a bit disappointing.
Environment: The hotel is located on Fern Hill, offering expansive views. Our room had a large window, allowing us to see Lake Wakatipu and the mountains across (I forget their name), which was incredibly beautiful. On our third day, it rained a little, and there was a thin layer of snow on the mountaintops and a rainbow over the lake – it was simply perfect.
Hygiene: It was very clean, and I didn't encounter any issues.
