Hotels With Breakfast in Qinghai, China

The location of the hotel I booked this time was excellent. During check-in, the front desk staff, 'Xiao 6,' was incredibly efficient and provided very detailed information about local attractions. Right opposite the hotel, there's a 'Gá Zhāng Wá' BBQ restaurant which tasted delicious. You'll also find malls, supermarkets, and places to buy local specialties conveniently nearby; just a 5 to 10-minute walk straight after turning left from the hotel. The nearest small night market is also only about a 15-minute walk away and is quite bustling. The room's hygiene was satisfactory; it was quiet and comfortable, and the bedding was clean and tidy. The comfort level was decent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options in a buffet style, allowing us to taste local specialties, which were very tasty – though it did get quite crowded. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience overall, especially since we were traveling with family. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and visiting nearby tourist spots.

This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.

This stay truly understands families with children! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. Shopping and dining are right at your doorstep, so there's no need to waste time traveling. The room has a full cartoon theme, with adorable cartoon stickers on the walls and even animal-shaped throw pillows. My child was so excited they started jumping as soon as we entered the room, no need to even try to entertain them. The most pleasant surprise was the window view. Opening the window, you can see the bustling city center streetscape. During the day, you watch the traffic flow, and at night, the city lights sparkle. Every photo taken is beautiful. Plus, we were given fresh welcome fruits upon check-in, along with authentic Qinghai yogurt – sour, sweet, and refreshing. The attention to detail is just incredible. Staying here with kids is totally worth it!

We were transiting in Golmud. The hotel we booked at first was not very good, so we changed to Hilton. We just looked at the reviews and decided. We thought there would be no star-level hotels in Haixi Prefecture, but the Hilton in Golmud exceeded my expectations. The lobby reception breakfast and guest rooms are all five-star standards, with full marks for details. It is also one of the few hotels with air conditioning. Takeout can be delivered to the door. There is free parking in the underground garage. The breakfast is great. The front desk lady is also very beautiful. The bathroom sanitary ware is also high-standard Duravit and Grohe. The water flow is large and the water pressure is stable, the hot water is sufficient, and there is no sewer smell. The bedding is also very good, the usual King Koil series is comfortable and easy to sleep, which relieves the fatigue of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Beautiful Haixi Prefecture, perfect Hilton.

The front counter manager selina is doing great job to accommodate our need and upgrade our stay!!! Bravo to her and her team!!! And they helped my fren to call ambulance sending to medical attention ASAP. And they provide a lot of travel sets and mineral water when we leave the hotel to next destination!!!

Excellent location. Worth the price. Varied breakfast options. Recommended for families. Parking underground option little inconvenient and parking fees for hotel stay is expensive and shocking. Otherwise room is spacious enough and clean. Staff were helpful and check in and out process was quick and seamless.

I picked this hotel based on online recommendations. Facilities: Decent, and fairly comprehensive. However, the bathroom amenities were a bit basic – only a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. There was no comb, shower cap, or disposable toilet seat cover. While I don't particularly mind the absence of a comb, I do think a shower cap and toilet seat cover are essential items that should be supplied. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean. Though I did notice some hair/dust when wiping surfaces with a wet wipe, it was acceptable overall. Location: Excellent, right next to the train station. Xining Station is less than a 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area, thanks to being on a high floor. I can only imagine how noisy the lower floors of the adjacent Quanji Hotel would be. Service: Acceptable. The laundry room setup could be improved; I'd suggest adding another dryer. Although there's no air conditioning, a small electric fan was provided, which was perfectly fine. They also have a humidifier. What's more, the room was incredibly spacious, and the generous 1.35m wide bed was a definite plus! The bedding quality was excellent, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. Free TV was also a welcome bonus. Breakfast was decent, and the yogurt was especially delicious.

Environment: With such a high cost performance, we no longer have to travel here and there, and can enjoy delicious food from all over the world without leaving home.

I'm quite picky about accommodations, but I stayed here for two consecutive nights. I arrived late last night, and the lobby staff helped me with parking. The receptionist was very patient, recommending delicious food and always had a sweet smile. Today, they even upgraded my room for free for my extended stay. The service was excellent, the place was clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious, and the view from the window was fantastic. It was truly amazing! 👍🏻

It has to be said that Golmud Atour still has a lot of room for improvement. It has just opened and there are many imperfections, which should be avoided by netizens who want to play the Qinggan Loop: 1. The hotel has just opened a few days ago. The entire building is equipped with 6 cycles. There is no way to control the central air conditioning in the room. The staff recommended not to open the windows. Opening the windows will affect the 6 cycle function. As a result, I was woken up several times in the middle of the night. Originally, the altitude of Golmud It's high, and it's obviously harder to breathe in the room than in the national highway and the lobby; 2. There is a pipe repair cover in the bathroom of the room. I don’t know if it was repaired before or for some reason, but it was not covered, leaving a hole on the top of the head; 3. There was a problem with the room inspection. When I checked in, I found that there was no quilt on the bed (I couldn't believe it and even turned over the sheets and found that there was really no quilt!), the sheets were not changed, there were no hand towels on the sink, and there were no towels in the wardrobe. The staff were very nice about the clothes hangers, and they immediately replaced and restocked them. However, I don’t know whether it was because the room was full or something else, and there was one missing pillow. I feel speechless even as I write this; 4. The breakfast supply obviously needs to be optimized. Maybe it is a newly opened restaurant. The breakfast supply is not keeping up with the pace, and the staff is not very up to date. The food is collected at 10:30, and when I arrive at the restaurant at 10 o'clock, there is already a lot of food left. In general, as an Atour member, the experience in Golmud even made me almost cancel the order from Atour S in Xining. Considering that it may be a new opening, let’s give it a chance to optimize.
