GGuest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! The location was easy to find and very close to shopping areas and attractions. As soon as I entered the room, there were no strange odors, and the floors and bathroom were spotless. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were very friendly and handled check-in quickly, responding promptly to any requests I had. The hotel's common areas were clean and quiet, with excellent facilities, all at a great price. It's my top choice for travel accommodations, I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely book here again for my next trip!

XXiaoxiaobaidemama❤️Traveling to Chengdu with my kids during the summer, and this hotel's butler service was a lifesaver! The biggest worries when bringing energetic kids to Chengdu in the summer are the heat, long queues, and meltdowns. This time, I chose the City Hotel next to Tianfu Square, and the location is truly unbeatable. The subway entrance is right outside, and it's just a short ride to Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli, so there was no need to expose the kids to the blazing sun and hassle. But what I want to praise most is their butler service! I added them on WeChat in advance, and they sent a detailed 'Summer Family Travel Guide,' clearly marking where to see pandas and which hot pot restaurants offer kids' meals. After checking in, my child felt a bit unwell from heatstroke, and the butler immediately brought Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke) and cooling patches. They even helped us adjust our itinerary and recommended an air-conditioned route to cool off at the Chengdu Museum. The kids had a blast, and the adults weren't exhausted – this is how summer vacations should be!

Jjinyude2000The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both the subway and bus stops, and within walking distance to Anshun Bridge and the bar street. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, with guest rooms on the 13th-14th floors. The restaurant, front desk, and observation deck are all very well-designed. Breakfast offers a good variety and is nutritious enough. The hotel even thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and traditional Chinese medicine foot soaks, which was a nice touch, and the shower pressure was excellent. GGuest UserFive-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!

JJinshuiWe stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Quiet neighborhood except the guests next to my room decided to talk about their life stories in the outdoor balcony until wee hours which is really inconsiderate. The receptionists and staffs are really friendly and helpful during my stay making this extremely memorable. One time disposable towels and slippers are my favorite amenities in this accommodation!

XXixixikaI originally chose this hotel because it's only 3km from the city center, surrounded by upscale shopping areas, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. From the moment I checked in, the doorman downstairs helped with my luggage and patiently waited while I bought water, truly making me feel at home. The housekeeping staff are always fully uniformed and incredibly thorough with their cleaning. A special thanks goes to Andy at the front desk, who was incredibly patient when I returned late at night, explaining the menu, how to use the TV's screen mirroring, and the restaurant's location. He even patiently helped me search online for a Qingcheng Mountain day tour when I expressed interest. The hotel's restaurant also boasts very authentic Sichuan flavors. The service attitude, from top to bottom, is absolutely perfect. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu.

GGuest UserI chose this guesthouse because I've recently been getting into mindfulness meditation. The concept of a 'meditation hotel under the snow-capped mountains' really resonated with me. The person who came up with this idea is a lovely woman who also owns the hotel. It's a shame I didn't get to meet her during my two-day stay, but I was lucky enough to be there during a heavy snowfall. It snowed at night and cleared up during the day. Some people wait a whole year for snow and don't get it, yet we stumbled upon it. On the flip side, some travelers came during bad weather and couldn't even see the snow-capped mountains. I recall a quote in the guesthouse's elevator that said, 'Meet the snow-capped mountain in your heart.' In truth, the mountain is already within us, yet people are always searching for the one they can see with their eyes. This guesthouse offers every convenience you could possibly imagine, and then some. I won't list them all here, but I urge my friends to choose this guesthouse without hesitation.

LLaoxie～This time, our family stayed at the Vienna International Hotel, and the front desk service was truly excellent. They called us in advance before we arrived, informing us about the hotel's location and offering helpful tips, so we didn't have to worry about finding it. They also upgraded our room beforehand because we were traveling with a child, and the upgraded room was much more spacious. The hotel has its own restaurant, and the breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, making for a great experience. In the mornings, they even provide a shuttle service to the scenic spots, which was incredibly convenient. If we ever get the chance to visit Jiuzhaigou again, we'll definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cosy, and surprisingly spacious, offering excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, helpful, and highly responsive via WeChat, which made communication very convenient throughout our stay. Special thanks to Xiao Liu and Xiao Zhao! There are a couple of areas for improvement. The hotel is not actually within the Kuanzhai Alley area as we had expected, and there is not much to explore within the immediate surroundings. In addition, the soundproofing could be better, as some noise from outside and neighboring rooms could occasionally be heard. That said, the cleanliness, comfort, and generous room size more than made up for these minor drawbacks. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would gladly consider staying here again.
