The hotel is in central Kanazawa, about an 18-minute walk from JR Station. On the first day, we checked in and went out to find food, but it started raining, which was a bit of a struggle and really dampened my impression of the city. The rest of our stay was cloudy, and it even sleeted. The famous Kenrokuen Garden was shrouded in mist, making it impossible to truly appreciate its beauty. I honestly couldn't understand why this city is so renowned; I felt a bit misled. Thankfully, visiting Amaharashi in Takaoka made the trip worthwhile. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant's ambiance created a great sense of luxury. We even found a restaurant that Abe once visited for dinner, which was a nice little social media moment.
The hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk from the station, which is very convenient for getting around, and there are restaurants nearby. The hot springs are nice, with both indoor and outdoor options, but they're in a separate building. You have to go down to the lobby and exit through a side door to get to them. The room was clean, and overall it was a good stay.
The location is excellent, very close to Kanazawa Station, directly accessible via an underground passage in just 5 minutes. The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy, though the decor felt a bit dated. However, the overall service at the hotel was really good.
for this room, they added a bed for the third person which made the room super compacted and we barely had room to put our stuff/walk. Staff is nice but a bit overwhelmed due to the holiday season. It's very nicely renovated and fantastic but not really worth the price considering all the other hotels around the area. Also no amenities:(
The room was spacious and the memory foam pillows were comfortable. However, the part of the room near the headboard felt a bit cold, so I had to turn up the air conditioning. There was no complimentary bottled water, but luckily there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. It's very close to the JR station, with tons of shops and restaurants to choose from.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, and there's a bus stop right outside. Omi-cho Market is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The room came equipped with a facial beauty device and even an electric foot massager, which was a nice surprise. What I was most thrilled about was the wardrobe that sterilizes and de-wrinkles clothes – so convenient for travelers! Besides the free coffee and tea in the lobby, they also provided coins daily per person, which could be used at the vending machines for drinks or exchanged for an alcoholic beverage at the lobby's bar area. The service was also very thoughtful. Highly recommended!
Hotel is so great I will definitely come back to Kanazawa one day and stay here. The room is spacious enough for 3 of us. They provided every amenities we needed including ironing equipment. We can dry our clothes in the bathroom. Staff are very friendly even though my Japanese skills are so bad. We were a bit unlucky due to the weather, there was hailing when we were there but other that it's all good. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Kanazawa station and ease us on our movement around. Thank you for the great service I will definitely come back.
Very high quality, comfortable, and beautiful hotel at reasonable price. Its location by the castle makes it very convenient for exploring the castle and Kenrokuen on snowy days.
Its Kaga Ryori dining is exquisite and value for money! The hotel shop has a very good selection of products at reasonable prices.
The onsen has cold and hot bath, as well as a sauna with TV.
The hotel is very thoughtful and generous in providing free ice cream treats after onsen, and onsen bath powder set for customers taking green measures (not requiring cleaning and change of bedsheet every day).
Had a fantastic trip to Kanazawa this time! The hotel was super clean, and the front desk staff were so kind and welcoming. The location is excellent too; many attractions are within walking distance, and there's a bus stop right across the street, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, a great stay! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Kanazawa! 😆
Stayed here for 4 nights to visit Kanazawa, Fukui and Toyama. Room is small but sufficient for 2 people. The toilet seems newly fabricated/ installed so it feels newer than the room. The room is stuffy in the winter because theres only a slow wind/ hot room option for the AC. There are microwave ovens, drinks vending & ice machines located on various floors. Even though the hotel is located near the JR Kanazawa station, it is very quiet at night. My favourite part about the hotel is the proximity to Kanazawa station, just 7 mins walk! Perfect for those using the Shinkansen. Opposite the hotel (1mins) is Forus & 100bangi mall with many shopping, eating & omiyage choices there. Omicho market is about 20mins walk, perfect for a fresh bowl of kaisendon!

Amazing
YYuduotianPatThis was my first time visiting Kanazawa and staying at this onsen ryokan, and it offered excellent value for money. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with very fresh sashimi, fruits, and milk. The room was comfortable and cozy, and the onsen was fantastic, very relaxing. They even offered complimentary late-night ramen after 9:30 PM, which was also tasty. I would definitely choose to stay at this onsen ryokan again on my next visit to Kanazawa.
CChan, Man LeiI booked a double bed room, but they gave me a two beds room which they can allow me to pay extra to upgrade another room type if I want to have a double bed for three days, the staff is nice, just the arrangement is not so great experience, but the location is great, right next to the train station
GGuest UserThis was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining.
Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen.
Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold.
There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.

WwendyliuyiOverall, a very satisfying hotel experience.
**Location:** Extremely convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. It was great to be able to drop off shopping anytime, and there's a mall right outside.
**Room:** Very spacious and clean. Since I booked for two adults and one child, they had all three beds made up, which shows great attention to detail. There's also a simple kitchenette, though we didn't use it, and a very convenient dining table.
**Facilities:** The hotel has public coin-operated washers and dryers, which were usually free during the day. There's also a gym next door.
**Dining:** The breakfast was quite substantial, with both hot and cold options. What was really nice was that from after breakfast until evening, there's complimentary tea, coffee, and even alcoholic beverages in the lobby. The lobby also has a 24-hour self-service convenience store.
GGuest UserWe originally got a room that was smoky probably due to previous guests but the housekeeping did not do a good job of getting rid of the smokiness (take note the hotel is supposed to be non smoking I think). We called the reception who proceeds to change our room to another floor and they made sure this time there's no ciggarette smell. That wasted a bit of our time but a good gesture to change our room. House keeping needs to make sure to check room properly especially for those with families. Son had a bit of a coughing fit when he entered the room due to the smoke.
Location was strategic and they provide free parking in the mall parking.
RR ToroBrilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff. Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me. They really make you feel very comfortable and safe. Great location to visit Kenrokuen!
AAccSrdBetter than I expected overall. The room was a bit larger than your typical business hotel room, which made a crucial difference for opening luggage. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station.
The public bath exceeded expectations. (All photos were taken when no one else was around, which also proves how few people use it and how quiet it is.) The design of the area is very modern, and the changing rooms are well-stocked with amenities.
LLieu Munn LoongMy wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Hotel Wing International Premium Kanazawa Ekimae Room #1105 from 8 to 11 October 2025.
The Hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the Kanazawa Station (which has a beautiful structure called the Drum Gate). Its reception is located on the 13th Floor, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 3 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in English.
As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with food courts are within walking distance, and it is about a 15-minute walk to the popular Omicho Market and the historic old town site.
The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower.
The Hotel also provides free drinks (coffee and green tea) at the reception throughout morning till night.
At SGD S$68 per night, we find it very value for money, and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Kanazawa again.
