This hotel is a mainstay- just consistently clean and friendly. Seems nearly every room is well maintained and super clean. Check-in staff always welcoming and responded to any concerns we had. Breakfast hot and coffee strong !
San Francisco goes to Portland to take a nice break in the middle of Highway 5. Breakfast is average, the bed is large and comfortable, suitable for children. There are no elevators on the two floors, and it is more troublesome when there are many luggages.
All the staff was very nice. Carina was the staff for the breakfast and was AMAZING! She always checked on us and cl Aned tables and restocked. I was checking out on Easter and she was working as hard as ever and with a smile on her face! I had my son give her a tip. I don’t think many people see her tip jar on the windowsill because it’s not near any of the food items. Trust me, she deserves it. The pool and hot tub were perfect each day and very clean. The gentleman that was cleaning the pool was also extremely friendly. The room was very clean with a microwave and fridge and desk. My oldest son stayed at the dorms at Linfield and I believe he’ll be going there in the fall. I will make this our destination to visit him. 5 stars for sure! Kindly, Katie Barnhart
I really like this Best Western, The front desk is super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast quality is better than other Best Western. hotels in a mountain town, so it is much quieter than those chain hotels near the highway.
Our room was clean, bed was super comfortable & the jacuzzi bath tub worked amazing! My 4 year old son absolutely loved it! The hotel has a good laid back vibe. We will continue to go back.
The hotel is located near the department store and around 22 km from RDM. I stayed here for four nights during the conference in Bend. The room was fine, and the breakfast was OK for me (not that much food, but that totally fine for me). The cleanliness of the room is acceptable, but since this is a pet-friendly hotel, you might be expected some animals further on your clothes if you sit on the floor or sofa (the bed is clean because they usually clean it up).
The hotel does not provide the cleaning service unless you ask them to do so one night before in advance (as they use the sub-contract, IMHO). Well, if you are not expecting that much (this is not a luxury hotel), and just stay as a part of work (e.g., business travel), this might be a good choice, compared with the cost performance.
Tip: better to have an upper floor (second floor). The floor is a little bit thin, and you might hear the sound of someone walking with shoes above your room (as I stayed on the first floor). Also, the second floor seems better for security reasons as someone might walk pass your room on day and night (especially at night) but I did not find any unsafe situation during the stay.
The hotel environment is good. Next to it is a hospital. There is also a school. But the traffic is not very convenient. To the supermarket is far away. Hotel breakfast is good. Three meals today are available at the hotel.

GGuest UserOn my search to find ”the coolest Marriott” in Portland, this is by far one of the best. Staff are genuinely enthusiastic and having a great time, the snacks/provisions are outstanding, I can get my Celsius and my jalapeno genoa salami wrapped in cheese or my ice creams. The whole property is impeccably clean and being located in the Kruise Woods business park, it's extremely peaceful and quiet on the weekends. Windows open nice and wide for lots of fresh air. The TV / desk setup is very professional and you have all the channels - netflix, prime video, pluto tv, pandora. One of my favorite Fairfields I've ever stayed in. Request a downstairs garden level if you can get one.

VValI had a fabulous stay at this sustainable hotel that incorporates nature into every aspect of the property. I loved using the sauna & pool, the mini market, restaurants & lounging areas in the main building. I enjoyed having coffee on my balcony that overlooked the golf course. My one small complaint was there was some road noise & I hope they put up sound barriers at some point (I could only hear it outside from my balcony which was one of the far buildings, so I'm sure others may not experience this).
NNadine RziguiBoth of us loved this hotel the rooms are really nice they have a microwave and fridge and coffee machine the beds are huge they put little gifts for you like cotton buds and make up removers shampoo conditioner etc.
There's a jacuzzi but we didn't go in, the pool was shut but that's okay, if there was an issue staff sorted it right away it was simple but sweet.
We aren't a big fan of Ashland so we couldn't come back but if it was somewhere else it would be my go to hotel very nice value
MMichael MigaThe hotel was clean and comfortable. The price seemed too high for comparable places.
Our room was large and looked like it could accomodate a sofa, but only had a small chair. We asked to upgrade, but were told the rules we would have to do that through Trip.com and no effort was made to satisfy our request.
Breakfast was better than average.
One major problem was the AC/Heat unit which was very loud. We had to shut it off for the night so we could sleep.
GGuest UserAlways a pleasurable experience! Close to the beach, and great view of the lighthousr from most rooms we have stayed. Great location to shopping, but still secluded! The lounge and restaurant are absolutely convenient, even though being a bit expensive. Very nice room and amenities! Needs some upgrading, though it is minor. Will always try to book here when planning a weekend getaway or just a night!
GGuest UserThe grounds are great. Good walking paths and enjoyed playing pickleball at the outside courts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Lodge itself is a little run down. Coffee machine was not working, shower had a bit of mold in the caulk, bed head board made of leather had scuff and abrasion marks. Furniture was chipped in places. Had a wonderful pizza at the watch tower restaurant.
