The Sonema is, overall, a solid hotel. What we really liked was the pool area, and the restaurant was also good — especially the staff, who were friendly and attentive. Now to the room: everything is very noisy. Since the bar plays music until late in the evening, they should really consider improving the sound insulation. The water pressure is also not great, though that’s probably because it’s located in the desert. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, because the room simply doesn’t match the price. You can find something similar nearby for around $30–40 less..

The location and accessibility are good as the city itself is so narrow. It takes about 5 minutes to walk quickly from the cruise del Sur bus terminal. Originally, it was a shared bathroom room, but I paid $2 more and moved to a private bathroom room. It's an old building, so don't expect good facilities. The owner is very kind. The best part of this Lodge is that it has a great restaurent! No need to search for food in the desert. We booked all the activities directly with the lodge when we arrived -- buggy ride at the desert, visit to the winery. Good service.
