The MTB Clinic—Essentials (Youth) offers a unique opportunity for riders between the ages of 8 and 14 to develop their technical skills, engage in drills, and most importantly, have fun! Whether they are beginners or experienced riders, participants will learn the necessary skills to safely enjoy mountain biking on various trails, including rock gardens and more challenging terrains. With a focus on personal growth and exploration, riders will have the freedom to set their own pace and tackle different features and obstacles. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing individualized feedback that enhances technique, boosts confidence, and fosters a sense of community among participants. During the clinic, riders will have the chance to review and practice essential skills in a controlled environment, with a particular emphasis on body positioning, as well as technical elements such as braking, shifting, and steering. The clinic will include small features, drills, and demonstrations to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Hosted by Hale Education, Inc., in Westwood, MA, this clinic is part of our broader youth mountain biking program that has been expanding over the past six years. Explore a variety of trails, tackle rock gardens, and embrace the spirit of adventure as you set your own pace and conquer challenges. In this clinic, we prioritize the essentials of mountain biking in a controlled environment. MTB Clinic—Advanced Jump (Adult) is the perfect opportunity for riders aged 15 and above to enhance their mountain biking skills. This adult group clinic focuses on technical skills, drills, and most importantly, having fun! Whether you're a newbie or an experienced rider, this clinic aims to equip you with the necessary skills to safely enjoy mountain biking on various trails, including tackling rock gardens and more challenging terrains. Embrace the 'challenge by choice' motto as you set your own pace and explore different features and obstacles. Our experienced coaches will provide personalized feedback to improve your technique, boost your confidence, and foster a sense of community. Additionally, we offer specialized coaching to help you enhance and stylize your jumping skills. You'll have the opportunity to work on your jumping skills using our airbag lander and jump training mulch pit. While completion of our Intro to Jump clinic is recommended, it is not required. Hale's Adult MTB Clinics are exclusively for riders aged 15 and above. Hale boasts rugged and diverse terrain, just a short distance from Boston's city line, making it an ideal location for mountain biking enthusiasts of all ages. Over the past five years, we have expanded our youth mountain biking program, catering to the needs of a growing community.
