Join the Intro to Handbuilding Tuesday Eve 6 Weeks Brixton course at Earthworks Ceramics Studios in London. This six-week course is perfect for beginners and those with some clay making experience. Learn new ceramic techniques using stoneware clay and develop your handbuilding skills. The classes will take place on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 8.30 pm, starting on the 9th of January and running until the 13th of February. Each class will last for two and a half hours and will have a maximum of eight participants. All materials and firings are included in the ticket price of £237.50. During the sessions, the experienced ceramic teacher will guide you through the process of wedging clay and provide insights into the history of clay. You will have the opportunity to create a variety of works, adding textures or achieving a smooth finish. After glazing your pieces with your choice of glaze, they will be ready to pick up in a few weeks. Please arrive promptly for each class, and note that finished pieces must be collected from Earthworks studio within 3 months of the course.
