Service was definitely the highlight at Gega Hotel. The staff were fantastic and really friendly. Our room was ok, but it looked different from the photos and description. There was no fridge, but when I pointed this out, the staff provided one. We did have issues with the aircon, though, which couldn't be fixed. However, our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very strange hotel. After arriving, there was a uncle who could not speak English at the front desk. The check-in was through the phone he handed over to communicate with a man in English. At this time, a housekeeper-like aunt came and said that the check-in time was three o'clock and the room was not good. I said that the check-in time of the booking confirmation was seven to twelve. She called a woman again, and the woman asked the reservation message and name in English and asked the person to give me the key. I was confused and found that many rooms were cleaned when I went to the room. The hotel building is quite new, the interior is clean, the equipment is OK, the elevator is small, and the elevator mechanical sound can be heard on the top floor until midnight. The hotel is very close to the coach station, two or three kilometers away from the old city, and it is convenient for people who catch the bus early in the morning.
