Longzhong Scenic Area, about 15 kilometers outside Xiangyang, is the legendary secluded place where Zhuge Liang worked hard at farming during the Three Kingdoms period. It is also the place where stories such as "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage" and "Longzhong Dui" took place. Longzhong in Xiangyang and Nanyang in Henan have been competing for the title of "the land where Zhuge worked hard". As an ordinary tourist, you don't need to pay too much attention to these. Starting from Xiangyang city, it takes about 40 minutes to reach Longzhong Scenic Area. The scenic area is not large. You can walk around the entire scenic area according to the sign in the area. At the entrance of the scenic spot, there is a three-door stone square with three characters "Gulongzhong" carved in the middle. When you walk past the archway, you can see a piece of farmland, which is said to be the farmland that Zhuge Liang "farmed". There is a small courtyard in front of this thatched cottage. There are also many wax figures in the temple, which reproduce some of Zhuge Liang's life scenes at that time: reading, farming, making friends, etc. Next to the Wuhou Temple is the Sangu Hall, which was built for the "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage". There are also statues inside, showing the scene of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang discussing world affairs.

There are also small attractions such as Gubai Pavilion and Longzhong Academy in the scenic area, which can be visited together. You can also climb up to the Tengwang Pavilion in the scenic area, where you can overlook the surroundings. The green hills surround Gulongzhong, giving it an idyllic scenery.
