The hotel grounds are quite nice with equally amazing sunsets. I originally booked and paid for a beach front villa, but due to A/C malfunction we got a garden view suite- we were reimbursed for the cost difference. The garden view suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately the hotel decided to do some maintenance work early Saturday and Sunday....7:30 am to be exact on both days. Impossible to sleep in as workers were scrapping and hammering the external walls of our suite prepping for paint. Then the maid decided to enter our room without knocking - not even once she knocked, and was quite embarrassing as both my wife and I were completely naked heading for the shower. This hotel, albeit great facilities, needs to improve on customer attention and greater focus on small details that could easily make this place amazing . We had dinner at the hotel on our first night, I feel that the quality vs price ratio can be much improved. We decided to have dinner and lunch outside the hotel during the rest of our stay. I also feel that simple non-monetary improvements can be made, -simple things- which would definitely improve overall customer satisfaction, and more importantly, return visits.

These completely new houses are a great place to stay with your family or a bigger group of friends.The homes were constructed in 2020 and are fully equipped. There are 3 bedrooms in each house with double beds and one room has a bunk bed with single bed on top. The homes are ideal for 4 adults and 3 kids or 6 adults maximum per house. The houses have a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, laundry and a balcony with a beautiful view.The property is within the Playa Palma gated community, which includes a 24 hour, 7 days a week caretaker/security who lives onsite on the adjacent lot. The caretaker also tends to a communal, organic vegetable garden available to our guests. All of the lots in the community are bordered by tall, flowering Hibiscus bushes for privacy. Watch the hummingbirds hovering all day long around their favorite food source.The highlight of our villas is the beautiful, inground pool. Our guests can enjoy this private pool, relax under the Waterfall with your feet dangling in the water, sit on the bench which is built into the deep-end with a jacuzzi, or wade in the shallow-end. Truly an escape from the heat, or play area for the kids, the pool can be used day or night (even the waterfall has lights!). We situated the pool a few feet from the covered patios, and in full view from the kitchens of either home. The patios are covered with a ceiling fan, although you can enjoy the constant ocean breeze. A charcoal barbeque is also next to each patio.We are located on Costa Rica's Central Pacific Coast, halfway between Jaco, and Manuel Antonio National Park.
