Fairfield Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park
4.5/5104 Reviews
We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Zion. This affordable hotel is in a very quiet location as opposed to the constant business of Springdale. We were in a spacious 2 king room in the main building, which was very peaceful. It was a great perk to have housekeeping clean the room during our stay as well, since not all hotels are currently doing that. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub both nights, and they were fantastic. The hotel staff is amongst the most friendly and helpful that we've ever encountered during our travels. The free breakfast was a great perk as well. Highly recommend! If there is anything at all that could be improved on it is that the rooms do need more drawer or closet space.
Under Canvas Zion

As our family of four approached Under Canvas Zion after spending the day exploring Zion National Park, we quickly realized this is the road less traveled and all the better for it! Stunning views and no traffic for the win. You’re greeted like royalty, from the friendly initial text intro to the warm host at reception, Samuel, who ensures your tent(s) will meet all your needs and then some. You are then given a private tour (we dug Ron) via a chauffeured golf cart to valet you to your lodging. Prepare to be spellbound by the vermillion sandstone canyons that surround the compound, creating a surreal, intimate ambience with ridiculously gorgeous vistas and mesas. Better still, the nonstop panorama changes with the sun. The luxurious tents are equipped with everything one could possibly need to soak in the experience. The postcard views from each deck coupled with the smell of campfire and howls from the distant cliffs delight the senses. Our teens were happy campers in their tent, thrilled to have their own space and play corn hole, Jenga, tetherball, and board games in the lodge, enjoyed over hearty burgers and fries at dinner. The “surprise” s’mores were just gravy, as was chatting with fellow campers. Stargaze from your deck or overhead windows, fall asleep under the dark night sky bursting with stars in a bed you sink into, appreciating the warmth of a wood stove to keep cozy throughout the evening. Rise to impressive in-tent bathroom facilities, and wander out to grab fresh coffee and a wide array of delicious breakfast options in the main tent. This is next level glamping, which we easily dubbed our favorite night in Zion. Without question, it’s a must-stay place!
