The owner transformed the third floor attic into three homestays. The facilities are new. The shared kitchen, living room and bathroom environment are very good. The space is spacious, but the bedroom area is small. The house is a 5-minute walk from the train station, close to Pilatus Mountain, and the lake can be seen from the window, but the town is usually not crowded and there are no supermarket shops.

We had an amazing stay at Verena’s. She welcomes you with open arms in her beautiful place which is newly renovated. Modern interior with some original elements kept. The bed is a 5 star experience with extremely comfortable mattress, pillows and duvet. Incredible view of the lake. You have house slippers and bath robes in every room. Verena went above and beyond to include a customized breakfast for everyone’s wants and allergies. I felt home with Verena and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Verena.

This beautiful chalet in the heart of a green nature is very careful, clean, functional and perfectly fitted. The surrounding environment is quiet and peaceful. The view is beautiful. The owners are very welcome. A real small paradise!

We were very satisfied and positively surprised, partly the apartment was even more beautiful than on the photos! Unfortunately it was a little muffy at arrival, after two days the smell was but flying. Maybe the apartment was simply no longer resident

Sit for hours at the balcony and simply admire the nature right in front of you From engelberg train station, take bus 300 and alight at sunnmatt apartment and walk to the left to the first white apartment. Enter by the small gate and that’s where the apartment is. Walking distance to Mount Titlis by going through Espen Hotel and straight up to a beautiful lake. Clean apartment but a hassle to buy their blue garbage plastic bags from coop (only these bags are allowed to be used as garbage) By continuing the bus 300 ride you can easily reach Mount Brunni (amazing for all ages with tobaggan, nature play, mountain climbing, hiking etc during summer) and even other mountains If you choose to be adventurous, simply walk for 10 mins from engelberg train station to this apartment. So if you ever come to engelberg I must say this apartment is worth it!
