With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends. Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety), 🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long. - Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village. - Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats. I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

Very artistic hotel, each room has a different theme, complete facilities, very comfortable to stay, I will book again next time. The boss and service staff are very nice ~ I especially like the lobby is very artistic and warm, the childlike room is the child's request to stay, very satisfied, because I stayed for three days, and tried several other themes and liked them all ~ and the breakfast is nutritious and healthy. The overall experience is very good ~ parking is also convenient.

The experience was fantastic! The tents were clean and spacious, and the availability of hot showers and WiFi in the desert was a pleasant surprise. This self-guided desert tour is absolutely amazing! The desert scenery is majestic and magnificent, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the golden sand dunes, as beautiful as a painting. The campsite facilities are complete and the staff are warm and caring. The food is diverse, the roasted whole lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the aroma is overflowing. Camel riding, sand boarding and other activities are super exciting. Moreover, the self-guided itinerary is free and allows you to deeply experience the charm of the desert. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming again next time!

Staying in a tipsy dreamland at the foot of Helan Mountain – this guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of my Yinchuan trip! It's located right in the Helan Mountain Eastern Foothill Wine Region of Ningxia, and you can feel the rich wine country atmosphere just by looking out the window. I booked the 'Cloud Dye' King Room, and the decor was incredibly stylish, especially the tea room setup. With the afternoon sun streaming in, sipping tea here and gazing at the scenery outside made time feel like it slowed down. The smart room control and Serta mattress made for an exceptionally sweet night's sleep. The most noteworthy highlight has to be the complimentary wine tasting and winery tour! As a complete beginner to wine, this was a real eye-opener. Not only did I get to taste delicious wines, but I also took many beautiful photos. Plus, there's a pick-up and drop-off service, which is incredibly thoughtful for travelers with luggage – no need to worry about transportation at all. The butler service also gets full marks; their response speed was super fast, and any request was resolved immediately. Coupled with a hearty and abundant breakfast, it was a truly complete accommodation experience.

This Mercure hotel by Donghu Lake is amazing! The lakeside scenery is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are well-equipped and clean, with 24-hour AC and hot water. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows let you watch the starry sky and sunrise without even leaving your room. The terrace also has a great vibe and is perfect for photos. The bonfire, fireworks, and firework show add a touch of romance. The service is attentive and thoughtful; the butler was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. The environment is quiet and peaceful, making it incredibly relaxing to return to your room after exploring Donghu Lake. Being able to participate in the evening bonfire party and firework show was a real treat!

Before I went, I looked at the pictures very beautiful. Because of temporary overtime, it was dark at the hotel and missed the sunset, but I was shocked by the warm lights and stars of the hotel. It was really like a fairy tale cabin! ! The toiletries in the room also smelled good lavender! Although I can’t pick grapes in winter, there is no bonfire. The weather is a bit cold, but it’s worthwhile to see this beautiful starry sky. I also met our Dali fellow sister here. It’s really not easy to meet fellows in Yinchuan. I hope I have the opportunity to find you again in the future! My friend also gave a ”northwest is much more fun than the northeast” evaluation. Overall, the experience is very good.
