A lovely hotel, beautiful setting. Lovely rooms. Well laid out spaces. The live music accompanying the Saturday morning breakfast was a really great compliment to the atmosphere. On arrival close to 5pm my room was not ready with very little explanation, excuses or alternative arrangements or the offer of a refreshment. My colleague also had to wait for her room. I will definitely visit again. Hopefully my room will be ready.

We had one night at Berg en Zee after flying into South Africa from Australia. The accommodation was perfect with arrangements made for us for a late check in. Excellent communication with Kerry prior to our arrival. Letitia was great and organised everything for our late night arrival including fresh milk in the fridge so we could have a tea or coffee on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great and included pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and a few a la carte options. Highly recommended.

Spent an evening here for our wedding anniversary. The accommodation was everything you would expect from a 4 star establishment. Room beautifully decorated and comfortable. The talking point for us was the view form the veranda and braai area. We could see part of the view from our room as only some of the rooms have a full view, but this is understandable. Breakfast was fine, but you would expect a bigger variety. We felt welcome and could enjoy sundowners on the balcony and actually thought of having a braai at this beautiful place, but opted to go out for supper as the evenings are chilly during this time of the year. Overall, a place we would gladly recommend.
