"If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a lot of amenities this is not it. But if you want a comfortable, clean, nice room in a quirky neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff, at a good price, then I recommend Ode. the owner and her staff were very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed. The room was very nice and had character, spacious, with a nice bathroom."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is great, right outside there's a bus stop, and the subway isn't too far either. The only thing is there are so many key cards needed to get through all the doors – I even had to take my room card with me to the shower and toilet! Some of the front desk staff were super friendly though; one even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs (this hostel doesn't have an elevator, and there's no laundry room here, but you can pay to do laundry at a place across the street). Overall, I think it's pretty good! There were some homeless people outside, but they seemed harmless.
GGuest UserOverall, this was a nice little place to stay. You can tell it's an older facility, but seems to be fairly well maintained. Pretty clean overall, though the floors were a bit sticky. The setup of our rooms was nice as well. I'd probably stay again if I were ever in the area.
GGuest UserI first tried the 6-bed dorm and then this private room with a shared bathroom. Although the room is small, it has everything you need, and the experience was quite good! I'll consider staying here again next time I visit Ottawa.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation. Restaurants and shopping are all nearby. The room is quiet, well-equipped, and the internet is fast, making it very easy to work. The front desk is efficient in checking in and out, saving a lot of time. It's very suitable for business trips.
AAlexa NoronaMy niece and I stayed here for a night on our way to Stratford. The staff were lovely - everyone was so kind and helpful. We stayed in the Georgina Fergusson room, which was small, but enough space for the two of us. The bathroom was a good size- much larger than I expected, with a jetted tub. The breakfast was delicious.
GGuest UserArrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A/C was loud, but our kids were able to sleep through it, so it was not a big issue. Overall, a friendly, simple accommodation , we were happy with our stay.
GGuest UserOur room wasn't ready for us so had to wait. Eventually gave us a different room which smelled like burnt plastic when the air turned on. Especially the heat. Faded..but the kids kept complaining about something ”smelly”. Not sure if we would stay here again but it wasn't too bad since it was close to groceries and restaurants.
YYueyefengyunThe facilities are new and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. It's also excellent value for money. The location is great, right near the US Consulate, a subway station, and plenty of dining options. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Toronto.
