Hostels in Shaanxi, China

Right near the metro station, you find yourself behind with the bell tower both beaming day and night time. Although the hostel is located inbetween Chinese phone stores, it's still a nice location. Going places were convenient, bus stops are close by, metros are near, food and drinks are close with underground walkways that were confusing, but you get the hang of it. Exit 9 leads you to the food street if interested. First time after being very interested in it appearing in many locations. Strict check in only appearing at 2pm and after. Many dorm rooms. 1 floor dedicated to female only, and can only be entered via key card. Upon arrival they give you a pair of slippers, but many don't wear them, but I do like the change of slippers in shoe cabinet. Chose the 12-bed dorm, room was extremely spacious, didn't felt clustered. Everyone had a small locker enough to fit your small backpack as there were a shelf in it. Bed was comfy and firm. Pillow - I rate it 2/5 for me, it's low and too soft, not my ideal. I love the bathroom a lot, there's 2 bathrooms according to the floor map. Each with many shower and toilets (all seated). Shower cubicle is big, hooks are at good height for 165cm, as in I've seen some that the hooks are like so tall up, curtains to separate the door to the water to keep your stuff dry. There is a set of washing machine and dryer in the female bathroom. Amenities of shower cap, cotton ear buds and toner pads are offered when you need them. Blowdryers are strong. Didn't go to the common level, where you have the bar, lounge, laundry, game, reading, movie rooms. For someone who was out everyday to night, I didn't get a chance to see. They have activities you can do. Definitely an extroverted dreamworld, a place where you can meet with people. People were friendly, both speaking Chinese and English. Conclusion: Definitely solo traveling in Xi'an again I would stay here, has everything you need, and super clean.

Comfy hostel with everything needed. Located just near the Muslim market and all the places worth visiting. When you go out you have a big variety of food and cafes. And at the same time it’s quiet, no street noise. We stayed there for 1 night and enjoyed fully. All necessary amenities are included and the price per night is really affordable. Great value of money. We even were upgraded free of charge maybe because we checked in early. There is a terrace on the highest floor from which you can observe some parts of the city. Recommend this place for backpackers like us for sure!

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. First of all the service was really great. When I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a room that was already occupied, but when I said about the problem they immediately change the room and I got ar upgrade without paying any extra cost. As for the room, it was very clean and the amenities were very useful. Also the toilets were clean and there were both squat and sitting ones. The location was also quite convenient, as it was next to the Da Tang Mal, so the night was very lively. The only con is that the metro station was little bit far (around ten minutes by foot), but overall it was easy to find the hotel even for a non-chinese-speaker like me In conclusion, I would advise this hotel if you come to XiAn, as my stay here was really great

Stayed at the Chongqing Heye hostel before and had a good experience years ago so I picked this one in Xi’an. Room is spacious and nice. Air conditioning just blows air through and doesn’t actually cool it, but that wasn’t a dealbreaker because it wasn’t that hot. I just opened the window. The alleyway outside was relatively quiet. All the hostels in the area claim to be next to the bell tower, but it’s a 10-minute walk. Water was hot immediately but goes down to half the pressure in the shower after 10 minutes. Housekeeping was daily, complete with fresh water bottles. A good stay!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The common areas were elegant and quiet, and the decor had a wonderful cultural vibe. Guests are required to change into slippers upon entering and smoking is strictly prohibited, which I really appreciated. What's amazing is that even though the lobby was full of people – young and old – studying, working online, reading, on their phones, or playing games, it was absolutely silent. It felt just like home! Highly recommend this place. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I didn't expect to be this satisfied! Thumbs up to the owner! 👍

Very nice place to stay. Friendly and helpful owner. I felt very comfortable. The best ist the lovely rooftop garden. The location is excellent. The only little downsize, the matrass is very thin and so sleeping ist hard. Excellent value

I had a great stay at Sifang Space during my visit to Xi’an. The location is definitely one of its biggest advantages – it's very close to a metro station, which made it super convenient to get around the city The hostel itself is located in a good, safe area with plenty of nearby shops and eateries. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and modern, and I really appreciated the ambience – especially for studying or getting some quiet work done. There are common areas with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe that made it easy to focus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Sifang Space to travelers, students, or digital nomads looking for a well-located, peaceful, and study-friendly place to stay in Xi’an.

The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic – clean, tidy, and peaceful. The decor is warm and stylish, making for a truly comfortable stay. The service attitude is excellent; the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help, paying great attention to every detail. Room cleanliness is meticulous, spotless, and the bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a completely reassuring stay. Overall, it offers superb value for money, perfect for both travel and vacation. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The store is very nice, and told the address very thoughtfully, and also gave fruit and mountaineering gloves when checking in, and also introduced the situation of climbing Huashan. The place where I live is a few minutes walk from the entrance of Yuquanyuan, which is very convenient. Stay overnight and go out to climb the mountain in the morning, and you can store your luggage until you go down the mountain at night. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, don't hesitate!

A hidden gem nestled at the foot of Xi'an's City Wall! The location is absolutely perfect; step out and you're greeted by a thousand-year-old city wall, instantly setting an incredible mood. The interior is clean and fresh, with complete and well-maintained facilities, making for a very comfortable stay. The service is thoughtful and attentive, with care evident in every detail. It's a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, offering stunning views of Chang'an (Xi'an's ancient name) at an unbeatable value. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Xi'an!
