Tsim Sha Tsui
This is by far the best hotel I've booked in Hong Kong. It offers great value for the price, with spacious rooms and excellent amenities. What sets it apart is its focus on catering to both travel-conscious individuals and families, providing fully equipped kitchens with utensils and appliances such as ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and electric stoves. The staff is incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to assist guests. We were pleasantly surprised to receive three bottles of water daily, and when we faced an emergency with our baby, the lady staff member whose shift is at night provided us with an exceptional support. She truly went above and beyond. More blessings to her.

Christmas Staycation at 181 🎄✨ The hotel is clean and cosy; staff is polite and welcoming. Lucky enough to have an upgrade to a high floor room with bath tub 🛁. The lobby is at the 2F, while guests could directly get to the rooms through the lifts from G/F. Therefore we could always avoid the crowds👍🏻. Convenient location, just a few minutes walk from HKU station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby👏🏻

This place is excellent, one of the best places we've stayed... I don't want anyone to find out about it! Considering HK prices, this place is a great deal with ample space and cooking options. Outdoor/indoor common rooms are also lovely. The staff is super helpful and friendly (helped us print a few documents we needed), and the coffee and snacks in the morning are a bonus.

Located very close to Jordan MTR station. The building seem abit rundown but we are lucky enough to stay in their newly renovated wing so the room was pretty clean. Once arrived, we have to proceed to level 2 for check in process, then the staff on duty will bring you to the designated room. They do provide basic amenities like towel, oral kits, reusable slippers, shampoo, drinking water at public area. Kettle and TV also available in the room. Most of the rooms do not have window but we are lucky to get a corner room which come with a window. The room is pretty small, but it worth the price that we paid especially in HK. A lot eateries and convenient store nearby to ensure that you’re stuffed. Recommended if you looking for budget/basic place to stay for few days!

The hotel is quite central in location. There’s Starbucks next to it. However there are a lot of stairs and is not accessible to individuals who could use ramps, like travellers with large suitcases or disabled. There’s steps leading to the check-in lounge, steps to go up to the lifts and from the lifts on each floor to the rooms. The room is clean and of a good size. However, mine is right next to the main road and is very noisy. At night, there’s a low ringing noise that came in every 10s - I couldn’t get a good night sleep at all. The housekeeping is ok - but they missed some items after they cleaned up the room - they did not replenish the slippers, the toothbrushes, and the bath essentials. One of the towels had a lipstick mark on it. I had to go to the front desk to get them, but the front desk is very helpful. On the last day when I wanted to check out, the front desk personnel is missing and I had to wait about 15min for the person to return.

Central
I had a pleasant time at the Shama Central. It was a really lovely hotel/ service apartment. The room was quite spacious, with a big dining room and living room too. Everything looked fairly nice. And the hotel was located at a convenient area, with many good restaurants nearby! The whole apartment was kinda dreamy, view was ok. However, the one problem was the front desk staff. When we were checking out, the female frontdesk staff member was really rude. Her attitude was very poor and I felt rather surprised by her attitude. It was such a shame because the rest of the stay was satisfactory, but it ended on such a negative note because of her!

🇧🇷 I stayed in this room for 2 days. When I arrived it was difficult to talk to the owner because I don't know Chinese and I didn't see the phone number on paper. But after that, I really liked the environment, the organization, education, location... I highly recommend this place! Congratulations! I spent a long time researching before traveling and in the end I made a great choice. And they didn't ask me to evaluate, but I thought it was necessary for others to find and make the right choice. *A piece of advice: make a large warning billboard at the entrance or at the bedroom door, with your Phone/WeChat/WhatsApp... Chinese + English😉👌🏽

The location of the hotel is ideal, it is very convenient to travel, and you can walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station within a short walk. It is very close to the Avenue of Stars and Victoria Harbour, within walking distance. It is a good choice for travel and living. The attitude of the hotel owner is better, very friendly

We stayed for two different weeks before Chinese New Year for work and visiting family. We absolutely loved its combination of fantastic location (quiet yet very close to the tram, subway, buses, ferry etc.) , spaciousness and amenities, and in the future when visiting HK with children, this will be the first hotel we will consider. Absolutely impressed. Special highlights: - Service is very basic - basically a single person at the front desk handling checkin/checkout, the cleaning staff, and a guard that mans the south building lobby until about 9-10pm. But all were courteous, efficient and helpful. No complaints at all. We are especially grateful to the front desk and her manager for letting us have a super late checkout (we had an evening flight and would have had nowhere to go had we checked out at the normal time). And the night guard helpfully scrounged around to find a spare plug adapter to lend us. - Location: Steps from the tram station, and 3-4 minutes walk to Sheung Wan MTR. No nightlife in the area, not that we needed it - It was actually nice that our hotel (south building at least) was in a very quiet dead end. - Amenities: we stayed in the family suite, which consists of two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen+dining table. I love the layout, and storage space abounds, with large deep closets that allowed us to hide away our 32” suitcases easily. We used the laundry machine and the drying rack in the balcony regularly, the fridge is huge, and there are enough utensils and porcelain ware for four people. (you will need to bring your own detergent and dish soap). There's an electric stove but we never used it. A few nights we ordered takeout and managed to seat eight comfortably. For room 3001, water pressure was good and temperature hot (although with two people showering simultaneously the temperature did cool time at times). - Nitpicks & maintenance issues: 1) The sliding door in one bedroom is doesn't seal very tightly (the door isn't aligned well), so city/wind noise is constant (though not unbearable). One on particularly windy night, the wind blowing through the gap was enough to generate a loud honking/flapping sound that was loud enough to wake my kids. I found a way to wedge it closed and the problem went away. 2) The oven/microwave needs to be deep cleaned. The inside seems to be covered with the black charred remains of someone else's old food. We turned it on once and the whole apartment quickly filled with acrid smoke. 3) I wish the bedrooms and bathrooms had built-in night lights for safety. - Tips: - When ordering a taxi via phone, be careful with your pickup location. We always waited at the north building on Connaught Road, but two times the taxi drove to the dead end alley between the North and South buildings. - bring your own dish detergent and laundry detergent. - bring your own night lights - The dryer looks like it has a ”dryer only” mode, but we couldn't figure out how to use it. At most we could d

Check out is earlier than other hotels @ 11am. Room is rather small but functional and good for 1 person. Hotel is new and clean. Staff at the reception are friendly. Unable to sleep as the aircon is very noisy and somehow the pillows are either too hard or too soft. Toilet is very very small and difficult to move around. They have cups but not tea spoons. Requested for it but they don’t supply. Location so-so, among residence and wet market.
