We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Khalidiya branch. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. We especially loved the excellent service and the delicious breakfast, which offered a great variety of options. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and always willing to assist, making our stay even more pleasant. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to provide slippers and dental kits in the rooms. We hope these amenities can be included in the future for added convenience. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we had a great experience. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others. 😊

A bit far from Abu Dhabi city center, but not too far from the Grand Mosque. You can actually see the Grand Mosque directly from the hotel. The hotel has a gym and a pool, and there's a good selection of exercise equipment. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay for a business trip. The breakfast was also excellent, and the cheese croissants were particularly delicious.

I chose this hotel for its location. It's incredibly convenient, just a 10-minute drive for those looking to visit the various museums on Saadiyat Island, and about 10-20 minutes to the mosque and presidential palace. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. However, I specifically requested a high-floor room when checking in, and instead, I was given a third-floor room with a 'prison window view' facing the parking lot, connected to a corridor. Looking at the map, it seems there are only two rooms in the entire hotel with this angle, which was incredibly disappointing! The hotel facilities weren't as bad as some reviews suggested, especially the pool and beach, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Facilities: The lobby is on the L floor and features a Dine restaurant area and a self-service bar. There's a heated swimming pool and a BBQ bar on the 5th floor. Cleanliness: Very clean with attention to detail. Environment: The exhibition center is opposite the parking lot downstairs, and the hotel is very close to the Grand Mosque. If you're driving, there's a Carrefour just a five-minute drive away. Service: I'd say it was just okay. No one helped with my luggage upon check-in. The front desk was helpful in changing my king room to a double queen room, but the room was directly opposite the elevator, making it very noisy. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I was woken up several times each night over three nights by doors closing.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area,up on my arrival is was received very professionally,the valet gentleman guided me to reception ,the gentleman that assisted me at reception was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing ,my booking confirmation didn't take long ,the valet assistant escorted me to my room . To be honest ,the room was not properly cleaned as it still had dirty dustbins in the room and toilet,didn't seem like the beddings was changed as I was scratching the whole night and since I booked for only one night ,I really didn't have the energy to call housekeeping to change my bedding,the room had carpet and it didn't look like the carpet is regularly clean,the room had an unpleasant smell The bathroom towels were dirty and unchanged so I opted not to use them , the bathroom floor was filthy as well. The air conditioning kept blowing dirty air so I opted to switch it off to avoid getting sick , don't know if the air conditioning is regularly cleaned or maintained. Since my car was parked at valet and I want to drive out so I went to reception gave my vehicle ticket for the valet assistant to bring my car ,at that moment there were many people checking in , instead of him bring my car out ,he insisted that I go get my vehicle in the basement,I told him I don't even know we're the basement is but he was aggressive and said it's easy in a loud voice,just go to the basement you will see your car,that was very strange however I continued to do that,that was very unprofessional from the valet assistant. I realized that this valet assistantent was different to the assistant that initially assisted me up on my arrival . It's strange to have one person determine the Review of the hotel but I also have to be honest to avoid this from happening nxt time.

I don't know why some online reviews claim there's a free shuttle service, because there isn't. And anyone who says it's a 5-minute walk is talking nonsense and will mislead you. I tested it today: after landing, I expected a pickup, but there was none! I called the hotel, and they told me to take a taxi myself. It cost me 59.59 in local currency using Uber. The next day, it was just over 30 to get back to the airport. It's about a 15-minute drive from the airport to the hotel, so definitely don't be fooled into walking there. The hotel itself is quite clean and seems perfect for a layover. There's a Costa downstairs, and the hotel also offers meals.

Great location for a 2 day solo trip. Great sea view and very convenient for all the local attractions. It was very convenient for access to the excellent Corniche for walking. Always well priced taxis outside. I was on half board, breakfast though plentiful was not to my taste. However the buffet dinner was outstanding and very highly recommended. There appeared to be no reduction for a solo traveller as I had to pay for meals for 2 ! All in all a great stay and will certainly visit again!

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location right on the Yas Marina Circuit. However, our room was on the second floor, and the large balcony obstructed the view of the track. If you want a good view of the circuit from your room, it's best to request a room on the third floor or higher. Check-in was very quick. During the Chinese New Year, there were many Chinese guests, and we even received special chocolate gifts. There are also many Indian guests at the hotel, and the breakfast offers a dedicated Indian section. Of course, there's Chinese food too, though not a huge variety. They had spring rolls, stir-fried rice noodles with Laoganma chili crisp and pickled mustard, and steamed fish which was decent. The pan-fried dumplings were the most popular; a fresh plate would be half-gone by the time I looked away. You can order eggs made to your liking; I had Eggs Benedict two days in a row. Breakfast gets very crowded, but you get a great view of a large section of the racetrack, which is fantastic. The shuttle service to the theme parks is very convenient and available at all times. However, to get to the actual racetrack, you'll need a taxi, which was reasonably priced at 12 dirhams.

The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the room decor is so cozy. The front desk offers free coffee and a variety of desserts that go perfectly with breakfast. Dinner features fresh fruit. Drinks at dinner cost extra, but the breakfast coffee service was excellent, and the staff worked hard. I was very satisfied and they even helped me extend my check-out to 2 PM. I booked a room with a balcony, which was great because I could smoke there. So happy!

I booked a package that explicitly advertised a room upgrade opportunity. When I noticed that no upgrade had been provided, I asked about it at the front desk. I was immediately told that upgrades were “subject to availability” and it is unavailable... After I pointed out that Abu Dhabi hotels are nowhere near full at the moment, she still said it is nearly full because it's weekend. Well lets check out the 'full occupancy' photos i attached.... :) Only after I firmly pushed back did she reluctantly offer an alternative, a garden-view room. Since I wasn't interested in a garden view, I requested what should have been my original category preference: an unblocked city view. The alternative she eventually offered was a higher-floor, but with a twin room with even more side-facing view. Having no better option, I accepted it and ended up spending my honeymoon in a twin-bed room. If the hotel is unwilling to provide upgrades, then it should stop promoting packages that create expectations in the first place. There were several other shortcomings on the part of the front desk and the guest relations, but I will leave them out of this review. What ultimately saved this stay and turned it into a memorable experience were Umar, who warmly introduced us to the room, and John from the Butler Department, whose kindness and genuine care left a lasting impression. These two gentlemen genuinely understand what true hospitality means and are among the brightest representatives of Emirates Palace. The hotel management should recognize and take good care of them, because they are the people who make guests want to return.

I can't recommend this Shangri-La enough! The hotel is directly opposite the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque 🕌. The evening sunset, with the mosque visible across the water, creates an absolutely breathtaking view! While I've witnessed countless sunsets in many places, this one still managed to leave a truly profound impression on me! We were traveling as a family and had booked two rooms. One room had a good view, but the other was unfortunately facing a rocky, undeveloped area. After discussing this with the front desk, the staff member, while not overtly warm, was responsive to our questions. The issue was then escalated to a manager who swiftly offered a satisfactory solution: an upgrade to a suite! The view and spaciousness of the suite were truly unbeatable! Considering the price we paid through Ctrip, it offered incredible value for money.

Upon arrival at Cho Gao, the first waitress who served us displayed a level of indifference and rudeness that left us feeling unwelcome. At first, I tried to brush it off, thinking I might be overly sensitive, but when my mother—who doesn’t speak a word of English—expressed that she, too, felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, I knew this wasn’t just my perception. As someone who has lived abroad for over a decade, I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity, but what transpired felt more like an intentional disregard for our presence. To add insult to injury, when my mom requested hot water, the waitress initially offered Jasmine tea and Earl Grey instead. I patiently explained that in Chinese culture, we prefer hot water before meals, but the waitress’s response was condescending, as though she couldn’t comprehend this simple request. After insisting we only wanted hot water, we waited for half an hour before it was finally served. I am a pescatarian and asked if the shrimp dumplings contained pork, as it is common in China. The waitress’s response was baffling and dismissive. She couldn’t seem to understand why I was asking such a question and even said, “I don’t understand your language.” This was particularly infuriating given that I’m a journalist and fully capable of communicating clearly in English, despite my accent. Her lack of understanding was not a language barrier—it was sheer indifference and poor service. We arrived at 8 p.m. and didn’t order much, yet we were informed that we would have to wait at least 20 minutes because regulars were being prioritized. While we understood this, the tone with which this was conveyed was rude and unprofessional. We never saw the original waitress again, and the remaining staff members, thankfully, were far more courteous and competent. While the service from the other staff members was better, the damage had already been done. It’s not just about the specific actions of the waitress; it was the overall tone and attitude, which felt dismissive, condescending, and unwelcoming. The fact that my mom, a Chinese tourist who doesn’t speak English, was ignored and treated differently from other guests was a glaring example of cultural insensitivity and, frankly, ******. In my experience, many Chinese tourists—especially those from older generations—are sensitive to how they’re treated abroad. They come from a background where such trips are rare and precious, and they do not deserve to be treated with disdain. The treatment we received was not just disappointing—it was insulting. As someone raised in a culture of respect and tolerance, it is painful to witness the mistreatment of others, particularly our elders. I am not one to exaggerate, but this experience was far from trivial. The waitress’s dismissive tone, the long wait for a simple cup of hot water, and the overall lack of hospitality left a lasting negative impression. Yes, she didn’t outright do anything “wrong,” but the attitude was blatantly off-putting, and it deeply impacted our experience. My mom, who is typically very forgiving, still tried to defend the waitress, teaching me the importance of patience and kindness when traveling. But after all that happened, I’m left asking: How can you expect us to remain calm and tolerant in the face of such disrespect? To be clear, the Cho Gao restaurant experience did not define our stay—this hotel overall was far better than the Grand Hyatt we stayed at earlier. But this incident stands out, and I sincerely hope that you take the time to address these concerns.

First of all at check in we were proposed to choose between renovated room of the smaller size (which costs much less than the room type we booked) or originally booked, but not renovated. We have chosen the room type according our booking and got an extremely old room with dirty windows and hardly working air conditioner. However, this one was presented to us as an upgrade to see view (no view though because of dirty windows). The next morning we complained about that and were moved to an amazing renovated real sea view room. Which was great. So, I don’t know how to comment on the 5-star hotel because of this experience. If you are lucky or are ok to fight for your comfort, everything will be fine :) Breakfast is amazing, and you can order additionally number of dishes not presented at the Buffet including avocado and salmon. Pool is great too. Also, the bus stop which will get you to museum island is 5 min walking distance.

Despite maintenance work being carried out during my visit, the hotel did a commendable job of keeping service interruptions and noise to a minimum, which was pleasantly surprising and appreciated. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a very convenient location, especially with the direct link to The Galleria Mall. The standard room was perfectly convenient and met expectations. While the service wasn't quite at its usual peak due to the maintenance period, I'm confident this is just a temporary situation and not reflective of their standard level.

I really like this hotel, and this is not my first time staying here. I always choose it because I enjoy the overall experience. However, there are a few issues that I hope can be improved. The air conditioning in the rooms never seems to get cold enough, which makes the room uncomfortable. Also, the room has an unpleasant smell, and the pillows and duvet don’t smell fresh either. Another issue I experienced was with the room lights. They were too bright, and I couldn’t make the room dark enough at night, so I didn’t feel comfortable while trying to sleep. I hope these issues can be addressed because I genuinely enjoy staying at this hotel and would love to continue coming back.

I just want to say, Abu Dhabi doesn't have many tourists you can afford to offend right now. I still give 5 stars for cleanliness because the housekeeping team really does a thorough job. And the front desk staff during the actual check-in later even upgraded me to a two-bedroom apartment, which was quite good. But, as I said, the front desk staff who answered the phone that morning when I called to ask about early check-in, and the hotel sales staff... Their service was so bad, and yet they still have jobs? Interesting. This place is really 'interesting'.

This isn't my first time staying at this hotel, and as always, everything was top-notch. The service, food, location, and proximity to the airport – everything you need for a comfortable stay. I especially want to highlight that the staff truly go out of their way to do everything possible for guests; they allowed us to check in early with our child and even upgraded our room without any extra charge. Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely be back again and again.

Really spacious room, lots of closet space, and huge bathroom. Amenities wise, it was really upsetting that the adult-only pool was too full so we got rejected and had to use the family pool. And next to the family pool, there was a really loud construction happening so it wasn't a relaxing time by the pool.

The hotel is close to Yas Island, but quite far from the areas where other major attractions are located. I'd suggest staying downtown or near the Louvre if you're not specifically planning to visit the theme parks. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and, overall, well-suited to Chinese tastes – much more delicious than the breakfast we had at the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai. The hotel might be a bit older as the decor and facilities feel a bit dated. We stayed in a small suite; on the first night, even with the AC off, it was still freezing. On the second night, the bathroom light suddenly turned on by itself in the middle of the night. We also ordered room service, and the food was excellent. This is a hotel with very clear pros and cons.

We stayed at VOGO Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa (formerly Westin) from January 1–2 for New Year’s, and it was honestly an amazing way to start the year. Special thanks to Yousef from reception, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. He assisted my kid in getting another room key and made sure he could go back up safely while he was playing outside, small gesture, big peace of mind, especially for parents. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of selections, the bed was super comfy, and everything was impressively clean, even the outdoor balcony seats. We were also given a great room with a beautiful golf course view, which made the stay even more relaxing. My mom truly enjoyed the experience as well. Overall, it’s a calm, comfortable, and well-managed hotel, and definitely a great choice for families in Abu Dhabi. A lovely New Year stay and we’d happily come back!

The room cleaning frequency isn't quite up to Dubai hotel standards. At mealtime, my friend joined us. Our room included two meals, while my friend's room only included breakfast. We wanted the free meals to be served as free, and the paid meals to be paid for normally. However, the Asian hostess who seated us showed an impatient expression before we even spoke, and immediately assumed we had exceeded the guest limit. That felt a bit offensive. However, the hotel's pool, food, and kids' club (the staff even joined in the exercises!) were all pretty good. The toilet in our room had a completely enclosed wooden door, which made the kids scared to use it alone, so an adult had to go with them every time. We didn't take their shuttle bus to the theme park because it showed a 30-minute wait and another 30 minutes to get there. We just took a taxi instead, which wasn't too far, about 15 minutes by taxi. The taxi fare was a bit expensive, but the kids couldn't wait any longer. The chocolate at this hotel is amazing!

This was truly an unforgettable hotel experience. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the room facilities to the beautiful hotel environment. What impressed me the most was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, which made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. At the end of my visit, the front desk staff even gave me an adorable little lion as a gift, which was such a lovely surprise and made me very happy. It offers stunning views of the eight-star Emirates Palace Hotel and the Presidential Palace, especially from the hotel's 74th-floor observation deck, which provides a beautiful 360-degree panorama of Abu Dhabi. The lobby features a high-ceiling design and live piano music in the evenings, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The large pool connects directly to the beach, with two or three restaurants conveniently located nearby, adding to the comfort. The guest rooms are situated on higher floors and are quite spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the sea and the buildings across the way. The service is warm and meticulous. Staff proactively greet you and are always ready to help with luggage or call a taxi. They truly strive to assist with any request you might have. Walking to the Presidential Palace takes about 15 to 20 minutes, which was very convenient for us, being seniors. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes. Highlights include fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, propolis, and a DIY chocolate skewer station, which was fantastic. The hotel's Italian restaurant serves authentic cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The location is excellent, not far from the Abu Dhabi bus station, which is convenient for those coming from or going to Dubai. The room was clean. The decor is simply superb, with themed colors. The gym on the 14th floor offers a beautiful view of the city and has equipment in very good condition. I highly recommend it for any stay in Abu Dhabi.

We stayed in Ramada downtown. Room was nice, cleanliness was nice too. Just one thing that we were getting little little music noise may be from the hotel bar in our room till late night, which was lil discomforting. Amazing stay.

I don't know why some online reviews claim there's a free shuttle service, because there isn't. And anyone who says it's a 5-minute walk is talking nonsense and will mislead you. I tested it today: after landing, I expected a pickup, but there was none! I called the hotel, and they told me to take a taxi myself. It cost me 59.59 in local currency using Uber. The next day, it was just over 30 to get back to the airport. It's about a 15-minute drive from the airport to the hotel, so definitely don't be fooled into walking there. The hotel itself is quite clean and seems perfect for a layover. There's a Costa downstairs, and the hotel also offers meals.

Excellent hotel. The staff are polite and always happy to help with any queries. The rooms are good and spacious. The windows don't open, but in January, even with the AC off, the temperature was comfortable – neither cold nor hot. The ventilation system worked well. We slept great; the mattresses were good and not worn out. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but you won't go hungry. There's a Burger King on the other side of the hotel building. The beach is a 30-minute walk away, and on the way, there's a WTC mall with a McDonald's.
