The hotel's location is excellent, right behind a pedestrian street and next to a supermarket. It rained both days we were there, so the mall and covered walkways were a huge convenience. If you don't have a car, there are plenty of bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to the airport. Although it's an Ibis, the hotel has all the basic amenities. The room was small but well-designed. I'd recommend against booking the most basic room type, as it's on a lower floor facing a building, which can feel a bit claustrophobic. I booked a superior room, but arrived late on a weekend when occupancy was super high, so there weren't many rooms left to choose from. As a result, my room wasn't on a high floor and the view was just average. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Because it faces the street, the soundproofing isn't great; a higher floor might be better. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There's no water in the room, you have to go to the first floor to get it, so I just boiled tap water to drink. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

I've tried both the dormitory and private rooms, and they're both great. It's basically clean. I stayed for 4 days and only saw hair in the sink once (I didn't use the kitchen, so I don't know about that). There was some noise due to ongoing construction, but it didn't bother me much since travelers were usually out during those hours. We had to use the back entrance, but there was always staff present, so it was fine. The Melbourne YHA is a bit noisier, probably because of the number of people, and the cleanliness is just average for a hostel. But this place is really clean, and the beds/bedding don't feel old at all. In fact, they feel almost new. Excellent value for money!

The room has central air conditioning, but at this time of year, it's not turned on, so the room felt a bit stuffy. The noise from the fan outside the window was very loud, making it too noisy to open the window for ventilation. Breakfast was very mediocre; don't waste $18 on it. You'd be better off walking about 200m to the right of Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor to a beef noodle shop. The shower facilities were pretty good, with strong water pressure and easy temperature adjustment. The laundry room at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor is practically non-existent, with old coin-operated washing machines.

Great view, decent service and location however I was put in the room next to the lifts and was kept awake/woken up for a large portion of the night until late, and early in the mornings on both nights of my stay. Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators!

This time, my family and I stayed at the InterContinental Adelaide, opting for a City View Classic Twin Room, and the overall experience was truly excellent, completely exceeding our expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the River Torrens. We could walk to the riverside promenade, downtown restaurants, and shopping areas. It was perfect for strolls during the day and enjoying the night view in the evening. The room offered a nice view, with city and river views from the window; the lights reflecting on the water at night were beautiful. The room was also quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cleanliness details were meticulously handled; the room was spotless, and the bedding and bathroom facilities were reassuring. The twin room offered enough space for a family trip, allowing us to spread out our luggage without feeling cramped. The facilities were well-maintained; the lobby had an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere, and the elevators and corridors were clean and quiet. The service left a deep impression; check-in at the front desk was smooth, and the staff were friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We had a small request during our stay, and it was addressed very promptly, truly reflecting the InterContinental's service standards. The breakfast and public areas also offered a good experience, with a very relaxed pace overall. Adelaide itself is quite laid-back, and staying here allowed us to enjoy the convenience of the city while still feeling like we were on a vacation. We were very satisfied with this family trip/family stay, and if we visit Adelaide again, the InterContinental will definitely be our top choice.

Great location, great staff. But nothing amazing, felt a little outdated in rooms. Also amenities, mini bar, room service were very basic. Rooms with bathtubs should have bath salts. I know they are planning on opening a sauna/steam/cold plunge, which will definetly make stays more pleasant. Good, but just felt little outdated today with all amazing hotels around. I spend a lot of time in hotels, traveling both for work and pleasure, and I appreciate when hotel rooms have good quality tea, better snacks than just crisps and chocolate, nice bath items etc. For me, it was outdated.

The receptionist didn't check who I was and didn't disclose the hotel room number when I told her that my partner has already checked in and I had paid for the hotel room. They don't provide a spare key when 2 adults are staying in 1 room. The amenities were decent however they need to have their signs laminated for DO NOT DISTURB or for HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE as I couldn't put the sign on the door knob because it's made out of cardboard. I could hear mobile notification noises from the room next door throughout the early morning which is annoying, there should be a sign about that. Other than that, the amenities were functional and easy to use, the bed was comfortable for me to sleep in after 20 hour flight and easy to get to. The check out reception were great.

Overall, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and quick to meet our needs. A special thanks to Anna and a Chinese male front desk staff member who helped us with our special requests. The restaurant staff also provided very attentive service. We booked a premium room and were given a high-floor corner twin room. It was spacious and very comfortable, with a complimentary mini-bar. The bed was on the softer side, the kind you sink into, but the pillows were great for sleeping! The room and bathroom were generally clean. The toiletries were an Australian brand, nice and fragrant. Do note that the mini-bar wasn't refilled during our multi-night stay. Downsides: 1. The wear and tear on the carpet was really hard to ignore, with some dark, sticky stains. 2. It wasn't a smart TV, but an older model with traditional channels. The breakfast was delicious. Although the menu was the same for two consecutive days and the selection wasn't extensive, it was refined. Each person received one complimentary espresso, and you could also order omelets/fried eggs separately. However, the coffee quality was a bit hit-or-miss. The hotel facilities include a gym and a rooftop bar with a dress code. The location is very close to Rundle Mall, and it's convenient to walk to the Art Gallery, Library, and Exchange Coffee. You can take the tram directly to Glenelg, and an Uber to the airport only took about 20 minutes. The only drawback is that the surrounding area is quite messy, and there are many Indigenous Australians (Aboriginal people) on the streets. First-time visitors to Australia should be cautious. In terms of value for money, I definitely recommend it!

** NOT recommended for families ** - Even though it appears to be the perfectly location for families across from a huge park, it is not a safe hotel for families with children (balconies have huge gaps to fall through and rooms are not child proof/ child safe). - it is not a hotel for travellers who like to feel clean (housekeeping is very basic) - all staff leave by 3pm except one receptionist - simple hot + cold breakfast; (scrambled eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, chicken sausages, pork/ bacon and toast etc. - no Netflix or smart tv options - must buy bottled water, Adelaide drinking water especially hard this hotel is awful. The Jacuzzi was good and the accommodated for my children in 1 room. The buffet breakfast had a good continental variety. But the bed was hard but there was a pillow menu to help a little more with comfort.. the sofa in the room was only 2 single seats. And parking was $30 per night and parking lot was a really tight space.

The apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️

The location is definitely the biggest plus – right in the middle of the CBD and within walking distance of pretty much everything. That said, the downside is the noise. The hotel is on Hindley Street, so if you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to be woken up by people shouting outside. I stayed on the top (4th) floor and could still hear everything, so I can only imagine what the lower floors are like. The building is very old and the windows offer almost no sound insulation. The rooms are also very dated. There’s nothing modern about them, and the furniture and fittings show obvious signs of wear and tear. The shower was another frustration. It takes around 10 minutes to get the water temperature right, and even then it keeps changing between very hot and cold while you’re showering. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth paying around $100 per night. During my stay in Adelaide, I found much better hotels for only $10–20 more per night. If your priority is location and you’re not bothered by noise or older facilities, it might suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a much better experience.

Great apartment, even better staff Really happy with our stay. The location is spot on — we walked everywhere and got to pretty much all the main attractions without needing a car. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had everything you need — good kitchen, all the cutlery and amenities sorted. No complaints at all. But honestly, the staff are what made it. I have to admit — I got confused about the deposit and thought they were going to hold $1,000. Completely my mistake. They were incredibly patient and polite when they explained it was actually just $1. I felt a bit silly, but they made me feel totally at ease. That kind of service is hard to find. Sorry for the confusion, and a big thank you to the whole team. You guys are great!

The location is great, right in the city center, and the room is very spacious with plenty of storage. It was very quiet both inside and outside the room during my three-day stay. The facilities are a bit old overall, but the room was cleaned exceptionally well, and the bathroom glass was sparkling. Slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and water are not provided, but there's a Foodland not far from the hotel where you can buy these yourself, and there's also a mini-bar in the room. The service was average; during my stay, a front desk staff member knocked and, without waiting for a confirmation, used their card to enter the room. The deposit is 150 if paying by credit card, or 400 if paying in cash.

The location is excellent, right next to the beach where little one can play in the playground. It’s a good spot to see the sun set though. Drive to harbour town is only 6 mins. The apartment has everything we need, I didn’t use the laundry though, as it looks like the washing machine is operated by a couple of coins which I didn’t bother to do😂. I would recommend this place , quiet and family friendly. The only drawback I would say is the floor is a bit too dirty ( properly only be vacuumed) My little one likes running around with bare feet, after she walks around the apartment I can barely see her feet 😜 I didn’t know Launceston street is actually more clean than an apartment floor before.

The one-bedroom suite is booked, but I actually stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with a large balcony and a picturesque view. Although not in the urban area, the traffic is quite convenient, and you can get there by taking a bus from the city. There are woolworths supermarkets around. There is a washing and drying machine in the suite, the kitchen has a pot and bowl cutlery dishwasher, an electric cooker and an oven range hood, but there is no oil and salt sauce vinegar seasoning, no chopping board, no chopsticks, if you want to cook yourself, you need yourself. Buy, chopping board I asked the front desk to borrow, but it is not expected. Disposable slippers can ask the front desk, the quality is quite good. In short, very satisfied with the comfortable and cost-effective hotel.

My stay at Peppers was fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a great location. Housekeeping was outstanding and kept everything spotless. My expectations were definitely met with the room. Only two small negatives: the restaurant downstairs is extremely overpriced, and when I called 40 minutes before check-in to see if I could get my parking pass early, I was told no — I’d need to buy a normal ticket and then the pass at check-in, which felt inconvenient. Overall, I was really happy and would definitely stay here

I booked this hotel for a conference at Adelaide Convention Centre which is a convenient walk or tram ride on the main road. The hotel upgraded me for free (thank you Momo? I think it was the staff’s name.) to the top level of the building, allowed me to have early check-in and late check-out which was amazing. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly. I borrowed a huge umbrella from the hotel for two days and it was so convenient. The hotel is situated on the east end near many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this hotel for Adelaide stays! I would definitely book another stay at this hotel.

As I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.

The hotel's location is excellent, right behind a pedestrian street and next to a supermarket. It rained both days we were there, so the mall and covered walkways were a huge convenience. If you don't have a car, there are plenty of bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to the airport. Although it's an Ibis, the hotel has all the basic amenities. The room was small but well-designed. I'd recommend against booking the most basic room type, as it's on a lower floor facing a building, which can feel a bit claustrophobic. I booked a superior room, but arrived late on a weekend when occupancy was super high, so there weren't many rooms left to choose from. As a result, my room wasn't on a high floor and the view was just average. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Because it faces the street, the soundproofing isn't great; a higher floor might be better. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There's no water in the room, you have to go to the first floor to get it, so I just boiled tap water to drink. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

The apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️

The facilities are a bit old overall, but the room was cleaned exceptionally well, and the bathroom glass was sparkling. Slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and water are not provided, but there's a Foodland not far from the hotel where you can buy these yourself, and there's also a mini-bar in the room. The service was average; during my stay, a front desk staff member knocked and, without waiting for a confirmation, used their card to enter the room. The deposit is 150 if paying by credit card, or 400 if paying in cash.

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

Don't miss this gem of a hotel! The balcony view is so amazing, I wanted to set up my camera and take pictures 24/7! Adelaide is a city of ever-changing colors, and during my three-day stay at Alba, I witnessed different sunrises and sunsets every day. The hotel's location is convenient; it's a 20-minute taxi ride to and from the airport, and bus and tram stops are within walking distance, making it easy for those without a car to get around. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and honestly, they're some of the largest rooms I've stayed in in Australia. One even had a balcony – you could practically join an evening poolside party! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic. Although it didn't change much each day, the variety was amazing! 😏
