Overall excellent stay. The hospitality was really good. The property is beautiful and very tastefully done - retaining the vintage charm. The stay offers an excellent sunset and sunrise view. The last 600 m of the road is pretty bad and the hotel provides free pick up and drop in their 4x4 vehicle. The last 3 kms in the national park is slightly bad too and would need a car with good clearance - however the property is in constant touch and provides guidance and support as needed. We stayed from 25th december to 27th december and opted for himalayan view room with breakfast and dinner and it was a nice decision. Great views of the mountains from the room. Beautiful view. There are only 13 rooms and they have dormitory also for the driver. Staff is good especially narendrajee. Food is very tasty and buffet was not there. U can order anything from the menu and they will give you. Food very very tasty. They provide heater also in the room of good quality. The best thing is bay window in the room. Overall excellent stay. 2 nights are enough to explore kausani. Not more than that. Highly recommended place for leisure travel.FromHK$406

I would like to rate my stay excellent. It is very easy to visit the local market as the hotel is located at the middle of almora city. Food we ate at the hotel was tasty and the service provided was good. Hot water was available all the time. Behavior of the staff was generous. Lift is also available. Room had a beautiful view of mountains. Two points on which hotel can work - one is tha blanket provided was heavy. If they can replace them by light blankets. And second is limited no of channels available on tv. Overall my stay was excellent. Thanks.SOLD OUT

We were very happy with the clean rooms. The cafe upstairs is tastefully done and you could spend hours there after ling hikes. There are several hikes from points adjoining the cafe. There is an open field/meadow like clearing across the road that attracts birds. They have driver rooms for drivers of guests who stay at the nearby upmarket resorts. It makes for interesting conversations if you wish. The food was very good as we had special requests for our children. It was beyond our expectations. The last 3 kms in the national park is slightly bad too and would need a car with good clearance - however the property is in constant touch and provides guidance and support as needed. The hotel is in a very quiet and beautiful place with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff is very polite and helpful. Service and food is also very good. There is a trek of 200m from hotel to the top of hill which gives a bird-eye view of all the areas around. The view of sunset from there is breathtaking.
