The location is fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk from the East Exit of JR Sapporo Station, making it super convenient to get to places like Hokkaido University and Odori Park – all within a 10-minute walk. The hotel service is exceptional; every staff member proactively greets guests and asks if they need any assistance. The rooms are spotless! During our stay, a small incident occurred: my child accidentally put the 'to be processed' tag on our suitcase, which led to it being collected. When K. Kou (Huang) found out, he immediately reassured us, asked for details about the suitcase, and quickly helped communicate with the relevant parties to track it down and successfully retrieve it. We are especially grateful for his help! We hope the hotel can convey our gratitude, and that of my family, directly to him again. Thank you for your professionalism! March 19, 2026 After checking out from another hotel at 10 AM, I headed straight here with my luggage. The front desk lady was very kind and helped me tag my bags, then stored them for free in the luggage room. Afterward, I walked to Suwa Shrine to take some photos. I returned around 2:30 PM. While waiting for my room to be cleaned, I picked up some free disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, lotion, and hair ties from the self-service corner next to the front desk. The free self-service corner had so many options! There was also a free drink machine for coffee and a free ice cream freezer. Finally, I was able to check in 15 minutes early, free of charge. The room was very clean and tidy. Across from the window was a tall building. Also, by registering as a hotel member via email, you can receive a small gift worth up to 1000 yen, such as a free one-hour late checkout or some complimentary drinks. I ended up choosing a free local-flavored orange juice. The main reason I chose this hotel was actually for its supposedly best breakfast in Sapporo. The restaurant is quite large, and in the morning, they offer salmon, tuna, squid, and crab sashimi – all very fresh. They even had four types of milk, all very fragrant and rich. Unfortunately, I had overeaten at an all-you-can-eat sukiyaki the night before, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. I'll definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance!

The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room) The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service). Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront) The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station.

This hotel isn't in a bustling commercial area, but rather tucked away in a corner of a park. It's easily accessible – just a short walk from Exit 3 of the subway. There's a kids' playground, making it perfect for families with children looking to relax. Nearby, you'll also find supermarkets, convenience stores, and some excellent restaurants. The room we chose was compact but well-equipped. The window facing the park offered a lovely view, which I imagine would be even more beautiful when the flowers are in bloom. There's complimentary afternoon hospitality on the first floor, and we also received a beer voucher upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. I'd like to extend a special thanks to the Chinese-speaking staff at the hotel. They were incredibly helpful with our luggage and very friendly towards our child. Thank you!

This is a chain hotel, roughly 3-star plus quality. I've stayed at their Nagoya location before, so I chose it again for my trip to Sapporo. The room in Sapporo was significantly larger than the one in Nagoya. However, for women's skincare products, they aren't self-service; you need to request them from the front desk. The location is pretty good, with popular attractions accessible on foot or by subway. It's a solid, reliable choice – you can't go wrong with it. The breakfast was quite rich, though the one I had later in Hakodate was even more impressive. By the way, the Patagonia outlets across the street have closed, so don't be misled by older reviews.

The location is great, right next to Tanukikoji, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Don Quijote. Facilities: There's a hot spring, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There's also a self-service laundry, but it only accepts coins, no electronic payments. Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; I had a comfortable stay. Service: We arrived at the hotel at 2 PM and were told we could store our luggage first, but check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. We dropped off our bags and went out to explore. We came back after dinner to pick up our room key.

It was pretty good. The view from the 24th floor was excellent, and the public bath was larger than the Dormy Inn I stayed at before. The triple room was also very nice. Although the 0.9-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for my 14-year-old, he didn't mind, and I prefer us all sleeping together, as it helps us bond more with him. The only hassle was the air conditioning was too hot; I suggest they not turn it off completely but instead set it to the lowest temperature of 18 degrees.

There's a free shuttle bus service from JR Station, I took the 13:00 bus and arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. They have a water park and large onsen facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious; even though the variety wasn't huge, the food quality was consistently good. The Chateraise desserts and ice cream bars were especially tasty! On the day I checked in, there were Japanese, Hong Kong, *********, Korean tour groups, and even a Japanese school group. Although there were a lot of people, the hotel grounds are extensive, and the buffet items were refilled very quickly both morning and evening. The hotel has a classic feel, but everything is very well-maintained. The most traditional thing was that the air conditioning in the room was pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius, and the windows couldn't be opened. Given the current weather, it was a bit stuffy...

For the same amount of steak, I would pay 10,000 yen for just 6 small pieces at Hokkai-En Yakiniku in Niseko town. The pizzas were also made to order. They even poured champagne from a brand new bottle into clean glasses for us. And the price was very reasonable; I even wondered if there was a mistake in the bill, haha! 😄

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

The location, needless to say, is absolutely perfect for a city walk in Sapporo's blossoming streets. It's just a 10-15 minute walk from Sapporo Station, and popular spots like the TV Tower and Tanukikoji are all within walking distance. Plus, there's a Lawson convenience store right nearby – super convenient! After walking miles and enjoying delicious food all day, coming back to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the bath just fills you with pure bliss! I was already charmed by the lovely ladies at the front desk during check-in, and then at breakfast, I saw all the handsome gentlemen were on duty too. I started wondering if this hotel hires based on looks – breakfast truly offered a feast for all the senses! So yeah, I really love Sapporo. Used the hotel as my base for day travels to Otaru, Furano / Biei. First overnight stay was without breakfast but that was lucky as I saw overflowing waiting crowds even at 6.45am!!. Subsequent stay was 4 nights - buffet spread was good and delicious - but 4 days of similar breakfast was abit repetitive - fresh omelette counter was manned by 1 person … not the efficiency I think of for Japan. Obvious is also the clearing of tables / turn over are slow due to a petit looking trolley with space for only max 2 trays (the reason for the long queue?) Room wise was comfortable, but with paper thin walls - i hear baby crying, people coughing or people on phone speakers not to mention the occasional loud thumps on wall ..had to use ear plugs in order to sleep. As it’s End June, the sky gets bright by around 3.30am … and the light leaking from The curtain does not help .. so it was also blind fold. Overall if not for the the nice and helpful Chinese speaking reception team .. I would have a mediocre experience at the hotel. Pic of the ‘leaking’ curtain which did not block out the lights for a good night sleep.

They say a skinny camel is still bigger than a horse! The Park Hotel is supposedly being torn down and rebuilt next year because it's quite old and worn out. However, this doesn't detract from its grandeur or excellent location. The hotel is superbly situated within Nakajima Park, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasts a magnificent and grand main entrance. The lobby is incredibly spacious and luxurious. There are many staff members, all smiling and politely greeting guests, always ready to offer a helping hand when needed. We stayed on the fifth floor. The elevators are very fast, and we rarely had to wait. It's about a ten-minute walk to Tanukikoji, Susukino, and Odori Park, which is very convenient. The room size was normal. The facilities were indeed a bit dated, but the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was prompt and orderly. It didn't affect our stay experience at all. It's a shame that we're witnessing the closing of what must have once been a magnificent grand hotel. But we hope that a brand new, luxurious hotel will rise in its place in the future! I intentionally didn't book breakfast when making the reservation. The outdoor parking lot outside the main entrance is quite spacious and easy to park in. However, the fee isn't cheap; we paid 2500 for the first night and 2000 for the second. You get a parking ticket upon entry and need to have it stamped at the front desk when leaving. Then, you show it to the parking attendant. We settled the total of 4500 with the attendant after two days. It's convenient, but a bit pricey.

For my trip to Sapporo, I chose to stay at the Prince Hotel. It's an older, established Japanese hotel with standard rooms that are typical of traditional Japanese hotel specifications. The location is convenient, situated at the end of Odori Park, and just a 400-meter walk from the subway station. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to Sapporo Station. From the hotel, it departs on the half-hour, but you need to book in advance at the front desk in the morning. From Sapporo Station, it departs on the hour, with the last bus at 7 PM. You can find it right next to the bus stop outside Sapporo Station, and the hotel's logo is on the bus. If you have a lot of luggage, you can also take the airport limousine bus directly from Sapporo Airport to the hotel entrance for 1500 JPY (cash per person), which is very convenient. However, for the return trip, there are only two buses to the airport daily, at 9:38 AM and 10:38 AM. We missed them on our way back, so we booked the hotel shuttle to Sapporo Station and took the JR train to the airport, which was also very easy! The hotel has a paid onsen (hot spring) on the second floor; guests can pay at the front desk to use it. We arrived back at the hotel too late each night to try it, but I'd definitely like to experience it next time!😆

I stayed in the most affordable room, but it was comfortable and not too small. Next to the bed was a desk with a light and mirror, and a chair with casters. Various chargers were also provided. The table was spacious enough with a refrigerator underneath, so I could eat, get ready, or watch TV just by sitting there. It was great for lazy people. The bath, of course, was large enough to stretch my legs out. I was able to choose my favorite bath salts and shampoo, so bath time was very satisfying. I was happy to see that the vending machine corner on the 5th floor sold bread, snacks, and even yakisoba bento boxes. I was able to extend my check-out time from 11:00 until 13:00. The extension fee was 1,500 yen per hour. The hotel was clean, the facilities were great, and the staff were very friendly, so I would definitely use it again.

We’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

This is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

The only minor inconvenience is that the lobby is on the 7th floor of the shopping mall, but otherwise, it's perfect [grinning emoji]. There are two Don Quijote stores nearby, and all major shopping malls are within a 15-minute walk. Tanukikoji shopping street is a guaranteed 5-minute walk (even with waiting for traffic lights). Plus, there are plenty of 24-hour restaurants around the hotel.

This hotel's facilities and ambiance couldn't possibly be bad, given the price point. Let's talk about the less satisfactory aspects. We weren't allowed to even wait in the hotel lobby before check-in time. I totally understand not being able to access the room before then, but not being able to enter the lobby was a bit puzzling. Although the staff did make an exception for us to use the restroom in the lobby, it was still quite awkward because my friend took a bit longer in the restroom, and a staff member came to tell us we couldn't linger there. Also, both breakfast and dinner were Kaiseki meals. While exquisitely presented, it just wasn't to our taste. However, the hotel's hot spring and surroundings are truly excellent, and the rooms are very new. The self-service drinks in the hotel lobby were delicious, especially the blueberry juice – that really left an impression.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. During my stay, I wanted something cold to drink, and when I called the front desk, their response time and service-mindedness were excellent! Definitely worth praising. The housekeeping staff even folded my clothes (though I messed them up right away), but it definitely added a nice touch. This is a hotel I would consider staying at again next time I'm in Sapporo.

There were quite a few Japanese and Korean guests. There's a shuttle bus to and from the city center. I'm not sure if Chinese guests are treated differently. We had to queue at the counter for check-in, while the Japanese and Korean guests in front of us were all individually escorted to a sofa area for a personalized check-in experience. We, however, checked in at the counter. For the complimentary toiletries from the shop, since there was no attendant, I specifically showed them to the bartender at the drinks counter to confirm I had taken them. Yet, a staff member still followed me out to ask for my room number, even though subsequent guests just took items and left without anyone questioning them. In our room, there was a noticeable stain on the toilet seat. I called the front desk and they sent someone to clean it. Otherwise, the dining and hot spring experiences were good.

Pros: Location: 1. Convenient transportation: After arriving at New Chitose Airport, take the JR train. Exit Sapporo South Gate on the first floor to the plaza, cross the street, and turn right to reach the hotel. You can also take the underground shopping street APIA, but you'll need to climb about ten steps, and I couldn't find an accessible elevator. If you have luggage, it's easier to walk above ground. If you're taking a bus, there's a stop about 200 meters away. When we arrived, the adjacent block was under construction, making the ground uneven and inconvenient for pushing luggage, but it should be fine under normal circumstances. However, the bus to the airport stops directly downstairs from the hotel, which is very convenient. Be mindful of the schedule; over two days, I saw many people lining up, and it seemed unlikely that everyone would make their intended bus. You'll likely need to queue for an extra round. 2. Convenient for shopping and dining: Daimaru is directly opposite the hotel, Stella is next to Daimaru, and Tokyu is diagonally opposite Stella – all visible from the South Gate Plaza. The entrance to the underground shopping street APIA is right at the hotel's doorstep (stairs). I recommend taking the elevator to B1 for direct access to APIA; it's extremely convenient on rainy days. The underground street connects directly to all nearby shopping malls and the JR station. The underground street itself has plenty of food and shops. For food, just follow the local office workers in line for authentic local flavors (be warned, the local ramen shops are incredibly salty, choose carefully). There are also many restaurants nearby, but not many drugstores. The two or three scattered stores are small, suitable for replenishment but not for a big haul. 3. Abundant and surprising breakfast: We entered and exited Sapporo, and compared to other places, this hotel's buffet breakfast had a good variety and quality. The seafood options for the DIY seafood rice bowl were also plentiful and promptly refilled. Friends who enjoy a rich breakfast should not be disappointed. In addition to the above obvious advantages, here are a few points about the hotel to consider when making your choice: 1. The front desk is on the 7th floor, accessible by two direct elevators that require card access. During peak hours, you might have to wait, and the speed and size of the elevators are average. 2. During check-in, the front desk insisted that everyone use the self-service machines. However, the system is cumbersome and prone to bugs. When we checked in, there were three machines and four groups of guests, including locals, and everyone eventually needed human assistance. The front desk staff member started with a smile, but by the end, I felt it was commendable she maintained her politeness. I don't know what the owner is thinking; there are plenty of front desk staff, so why add to everyone's burden? 3. The room size is normally small. The hallway and lobby are relatively new, while the rooms are slightly older but acceptably clean. 4. The price is slightly higher than similar hotels in the surrounding area (if you consider the convenience of transportation and shopping, this price difference is acceptable).

The hotel isn't far from Sapporo Station; it's about a 5-6 minute walk straight ahead after turning right out of the South Exit. Both check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but everything else was fine. Housekeeping seems to be every two days; they cleaned our room on the second day, but not on the third even though we put out the sign. However, they did leave fresh towels and yukata outside the door. For phone charging, you can either bring your own USB adapter or get one from the front desk. Breakfast is a relatively simple Western style, but I'd still recommend booking it because finding places to eat around there can be tricky, and you usually have to wait for a table if you dine in. Eating at the hotel lets you head straight out to explore afterward. We didn't use the large public bath. Free drinks and snacks are available in the second-floor breakfast area after 3 PM. Also, it gets quite cool in Hokkaido in the mornings and evenings, so I recommend bringing a light windbreaker; a sun-protective jacket might not be enough.

The hotel is conveniently located in the international arrivals hall. After exiting, turn right, walk past the Lawson convenience store, and continue straight to the end. Take the elevator to the fourth floor, and you'll arrive at the hotel lobby. They offered a welcome drink during check-in. The room was spacious and even offered a view of the planes. The soundproofing was excellent. There's only one smoking room on the fourth floor, which you pass by on the way to the hot spring. The hot spring area has a large pool, which I suspect isn't a natural hot spring, a cold plunge pool, and a sauna, but no outdoor hot spring. Overall, it was a great experience, perfect for those with an early morning flight the next day or anyone arriving after a long journey looking to recharge. I especially loved the slippers in the room; they definitely deserve a thumbs up!

Stayed in a room with a Ferris wheel view [laughing emoji]. Everyone visiting Sapporo should stay at this hotel directly above Susukino Station! The only minor inconvenience is that the lobby is on the 7th floor of the shopping mall, but otherwise, it's perfect [grinning emoji]. There are two Don Quijote stores nearby, and all major shopping malls are within a 15-minute walk. Tanukikoji shopping street is a guaranteed 5-minute walk (even with waiting for traffic lights). Plus, there are plenty of 24-hour restaurants around the hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is conveniently located next to the main train station, making it easy to travel in and out of the city. The property is clean, modern, and welcoming. The room is compact, as expected, but it was well designed and fit one large and one medium-sized suitcase. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s also a public bath, which was a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring, although it can get quite busy during peak hours. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. The only drawback is that the hotel isn’t within walking distance of most of the city’s main attractions, so you’ll likely need to take public transport.

This hotel is in a great location in central Sapporo, just opposite the Old Red Brick Government Building. Daimaru is only a 10-minute walk away, while Tanukikoji Shopping Street (Susukino) is around 15–20 minutes away on foot. You can walk directly between Odori Park and Susukino. Useful facilities include private parking, a laundry room, and a microwave for heating food. We had a pleasant and convenient stay here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value for money and spacious rooms! While it might not be in the absolute most central location, we really enjoyed our stay here. It is very easy to find, just a quick walk past 2 junctions after exiting the JR Station. The room was much more spacious than typical Japanese hotels, which was a wonderful surprise. Everything was exceptionally clean and the overall experience was fantastic. It offers excellent value for money (性价比高). We had a very happy and comfortable stay here!

It’s centrally located, making it super easy to walk to the Otaru Canal and nearby eateries. Don't miss the rooftop public bath and sauna—the outdoor bath has an incredible view! For my trip to Sapporo, I chose to stay at the Prince Hotel. It's an older, established Japanese hotel with standard rooms that are typical of traditional Japanese hotel specifications. The location is convenient, situated at the end of Odori Park, and just a 400-meter walk from the subway station. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to Sapporo Station. From the hotel, it departs on the half-hour, but you need to book in advance at the front desk in the morning. From Sapporo Station, it departs on the hour, with the last bus at 7 PM. You can find it right next to the bus stop outside Sapporo Station, and the hotel's logo is on the bus. If you have a lot of luggage, you can also take the airport limousine bus directly from Sapporo Airport to the hotel entrance for 1500 JPY (cash per person), which is very convenient. However, for the return trip, there are only two buses to the airport daily, at 9:38 AM and 10:38 AM. We missed them on our way back, so we booked the hotel shuttle to Sapporo Station and took the JR train to the airport, which was also very easy! The hotel has a paid onsen (hot spring) on the second floor; guests can pay at the front desk to use it. We arrived back at the hotel too late each night to try it, but I'd definitely like to experience it next time!😆
