Great location, close to centraal station, tram and metro. Lots of restaurants around, especially the Asian food selections nearby (chicken ramen is very nice)! We had a family room with sofa that fits the 4 of us. Shower room ceiling is a bit low if you are over 170cm. Power outage in the area on our last day there but the staff was very helpful.

After returning from Iceland, I opted to stay here again. This time, my room was on the 3rd floor, but there's no direct elevator access – you have to switch elevators on the second floor. The room didn't have any stirrers, and when I asked, the front desk wouldn't send them up; I had to go down to get them myself. What was truly frustrating was the motion-sensor light in the bathroom. It would always turn off automatically halfway through my shower, leaving me in complete darkness. I'd essentially be left in the dark twice during a single shower!

Located canalside, the hotel offers beautiful river views and stunning sunsets from its upper floors. It's conveniently situated right by a subway station, not too far from the city center, yet surprisingly quiet. However, the 25-euro breakfast felt a bit expensive for the limited options available. Despite this, the hotel's ambiance is very pleasant.

The hotel is right next to the concert hall. From the central station, take tram line 26 for one stop, then it's a 200-meter walk across the bridge to the ground floor on the other side. They gave me a river view room, and the scenery was absolutely stunning – truly a 'wow' moment when I opened the door. Breakfast was also very rich and varied. I booked early, so the price was quite reasonable. It was definitely the best hotel experience I had among all the places I stayed on this business trip.

A little far out from the centre but we did not mind the travel to the centre. Metro/bus stops were under 10mins walk, very accessible. The neighbourhood was lovely had plenty of convenience stores nearby including a Lidl and New York Pizza takeaway. The staff were hospitality and had room service every day of our stay. We were able to leave our belongings in the hotel as our flight arrived earlier than check in time and bonus was we were able to check in half hour early than the check in time. Room was equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, shower, radiator, TV and AC. Only problem was from the second day there was cigarette smell sipping into our room. It was very strong and my guess was that it came from the bathroom vents, this was very unsettling as we asked for a non smoking room due to my asthma. Everything else was top notch

The location is convenient, close to the train station. You can take a local train from the central station in the city center, and it's just one stop. It's about a 7-minute walk to the hotel from there. It's a hostel-like accommodation, so the facilities are quite basic. The washing area and beds are separate. There's a common room where you can get water, play table tennis, and socialize.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Eden Hotel in Amsterdam, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Its location is fantastic, nestled conveniently near key attractions, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view from my room, which overlooked the river. Waking up to the serene waters was truly a treat. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my visit.

This hotel is new and well-maintained. It is conveniently located just 20 minutes by tram from the train station and 30 minutes from the main museums. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there were a few minor issues. The door to our room was extremely heavy, making it difficult for some guests to open. Additionally, the air conditioning unit made a cleaning sound during the night, which was disruptive to our sleep. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and I would recommend it to others.

Location: Excellent. Calm area, close to the free ferry from Amsterdam Central. You are away from the buzz but still well connected. Best of both worlds. Check-in experience: Disappointing. I arrived around two hours early and politely asked if the room was available. The front desk staff member was helpful and said the system showed the room as ready and that she would confirm with management. The manager then intervened and introduced an unnecessary and inconsistent explanation about the room not being ready, followed by an early check-in fee of €5. The fee itself is reasonable and not the issue. The issue is the lack of transparency. Moments later, the same staff member asked the manager whether to give me the original room, and the manager confirmed yes in front of me. This made the earlier explanation feel dishonest, which I do not appreciate. Bar: Overpriced for a hostel. Amenities: Standard. Nothing special, nothing missing. Hygiene: Below expectations. While the room was generally clean, there were breadcrumbs on the mattress, which points to poor attention to detail. Soap and toilet paper were not properly provided and had to be requested, which should not be necessary. Overall: Good location, average facilities, weak attention to hygiene and communication.

Hotel flipper is a hostel style hotel from and is very suitable for young adults. The service is great , the lobby has a vending machine for drinks and snacks and there is a seating area available for people who want to bring food to eat there or just chill and chat there. The room itself is rather old and beds are very soft . Very much like school dormitory style. No lift is available so if you have heavy luggage you must take that into consideration. When the male attendant is around, he will offer to help you carry luggage up or down but most of the time . Rooms come with a built in hair dryer which is slow , kettle with some tea bags , towels, shower gel and shampoo 2 in 1, cupboard and clothes hangers. There is no aircon and room lighting is a bit dark.

It’s a very pleasant experience staying with the Muse Hotel. The counter staff - Teethor was extremely helpful and friendly. I particularly appreciate him for letting me check in earlier and helping me with checking the room details. The room was very clean, with everything I needed. What I loved was past of the window can be opened a bit— to let fresh air in, good circulation in the room. The location is great as the bus stop is about 2mins walking distance , from where one can take bus 12 to the main tourist sites including the Royal Palace, Old Church and Central station etc. And one can take direct bus 397 from the airport to the hotel. In addition, the cat at the hotel is cute and quiet. Highly recommend the hotel to visitors who’d visit Amsterdam.

There is a free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel itself is in the shape of a ship and faces the canal, making it a very interesting hotel. When you open the window, you can see the canal in front of you. The room and amenities we stayed in this time are the bare minimum, but if you just want to sleep, it's enough. Next time I would like to stay in a room with the letter BOTEL.

Excellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. Thank you for a great stay and I hope to come back again when I am back in the Netherlands. Kind regards, Diederik Lugt

A stylish design hotel next to the canal, with a good location, it takes more than 15 minutes to walk to the Central Station, Dam Square, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank House. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We had the room for 4 people. There are a lot of stairs, so not really accessible for people with walking difficulties. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. For a W hotel, the experience was not as good as it is in other locations The location is ok , but the tram passing by and the noisy bars might be noisy especially when you are on lower floors The room is OK , nothing really special about it, and feel soulless with kitchy decorations and wall paintings Breakfast is not bad as well Cleaning is ok but i found a silverfish on the room… not to mention as well that some amenities are not replaced if used… unless ordered Most of the staff were really helpful and nice , except a very rude one on the bank checkin counter that should change jobs if it’s annoying her that much The pool , spa and lounge and gym are really amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the weather and time constraints Overall , i would say it’s a good value for money but there are better options in Amsterdam!

The lounge provided very limited of food during breakfast, tea and evening cocktails. The coffee machine was broken and food was out of stock frequently. Waldorf Amsterdam. The location has nothing to say, just by the Gentleman's Canal, an old European house.1.2-1.5 kilometers from several major museums, within 20 minutes walk (the three-story canal and each few steps have a cute bridge and a small house like chocolate on the shore make the journey shorter). First-class service, breakfast is very good, smoked salmon and ham are made by themselves, the taste is very good, but the room meal is difficult to say 😭; Room hygiene is also an absolute standard. The floor of the light white bathroom, bathtub, shower, countertop, and anywhere can not find a trace of uncleanness. The cleaning waiter is still so haunted (like the high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo); The bath is a full set of large bottles of Aesop, put it directly; basically, except for the expensive, there is nothing wrong with ~ I will consider living in Amsterdam next time.

I spent a long time choosing a hotel before coming to the Netherlands. Hotels in Amsterdam are really expensive! Much more expensive than other cities in Europe... In the end, I gritted my teeth and booked the InterContinental, and stayed for eight days. It's really good, very close to the subway station, and there is a big supermarket half a stop away for supplies. Trams to several important attractions also stop at the door. Be sure to book a canal view room, although it's a little more expensive, but the view outside the window is really great! The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me a map. She carefully took the map and helped me explain the main attractions.

All Holiday Inn properties generally look quite similar, and there's a certain sense of reassurance and predictability that comes with such a standardized chain. A notable perk: upon check-in, we were informed that if we chose to forgo daily housekeeping (for cost-saving and environmental reasons), the hotel would provide two complimentary drinks per room each day. This quickly became our group's evening highlight – a fun 'happy hour' with adults enjoying alcoholic beverages and the kids having soft drinks!

Pros: 1. The breakfast is excellent, featuring smoked salmon, several types of cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, bread, muffins, juice, and milk. What's even better is that breakfast starts at 4 AM, which is perfect for those catching early flights. 2. It's very quiet. 3. Not far from the airport, with a shuttle bus that doesn't require a reservation. (The shuttle is located in the 'hotel shuttle bus' area outside the airport exit parking lot, specifically zones A9-13. It's easy to find and generally runs every 15 minutes during the day and every half hour late at night.) There's also a bus stop diagonally across from the hotel, making it very convenient to get to the city center. My only minor gripe is the lack of a hairdryer and kettle, but I guess most hotels in Europe are like that, so it's not really a deal-breaker.

Mmrzanice location close to the airport and used the free shuttle service early in the morning. Unfortunately we haven’t slept all night because our room was so warm, we already switched hotel rooms because the airconditioning was broken. We were really dissapointed that no one asked us how our stay was during check out . We will not come back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, making for a peaceful and relaxing night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help with a smile and excellent service. The hotel is located in a great and convenient area, close to important places and attractions, which made getting around very easy. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a good variety of options. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh and well prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
