The hotel facilities are a bit old but very clean. It's right next to the Danube River, and if you want to go on a cruise, the front desk concierge can book tickets, which is very convenient and reassuring. Our booking included breakfast, but upon check-in, the front desk claimed it wasn't included. After showing the confirmation letter, they accepted it. However, at breakfast, we were blocked again and had to go to the front desk, show the confirmation letter a second time, and only then, after the front desk verbally cleared it with the restaurant, were we able to eat. The breakfast itself was plentiful. Upon check-out, we were asked to pay for the meals again, leading to another argument. I assume there was an internal issue with the booking process. Despite these hiccups, the staff consistently maintained a very professional attitude. One evening, our group of four, feeling quite at home, boldly asked if we could play cards in the bar. The hotel responded that they were about to close but could provide seats, though there would be no drink service. We happily took our seats. It was already midnight, and the bar, which should have been dim, didn't want us playing in the dark, so they specially turned on the overhead lights for us, which was a very thoughtful touch. However, having to pay for parking as a hotel guest is something we just had to accept.

What a lovely stay! The hotel is super nice, the rooms were very confortable and the breakfast was very good with very nice options. Location is amazing, very close to the Parlament and 15 min away from pretty much everything with public transports or even by foot to some locations. Would book again if we come to Budapest in the future!

The hotel is in an excellent location, with many attractions within walking distance. If something is too far to walk, you can easily use the bus, metro, or tram; just use the Budapest Go app. The hotel itself looked good, and the rooms were neatly made up when we were out. The ”do not disturb” sign was well respected. Unfortunately, there were some things we weren't happy with. The service is good if you have general questions about activities or services in Budapest, but when it comes to complaints they've had before, they say they ”can't do anything at certain times.” Like many others, they had no hot water available precisely on the cold days. They claimed it was because it was cold and everyone wanted to shower or bathe. I believe that as a hotel, especially on cold days, you should be prepared for many guests wanting to shower or bathe. This seems like one of the basic rules to me, and I absolutely don't think this is worthy of the 4-star hotel rating they claim to have/be. We didn't receive any compensation, only an apology. Furthermore, there's air conditioning, but it doesn't work at all. This is undoubtedly the cheapest air conditioning ever. The control panel doesn't allow setting it lower than 19 degrees. Such details should be mentioned in the advertisement. Besides this poor service, I also believe that if there are major construction works, you should indicate this on the website or compensate all guests if they are staying on a side where they hear noise from cranes and other machinery in the morning, building an entirely new apartment complex. Therefore, this hotel is only recommended during the summer period when there are no construction works or if you stay in the other wing.

As expected from a renovated hotel, it was incredibly clean, neat, cool, and excellent in terms of hygiene. I booked it for one night because it's close to the train station. Although I felt a bit nervous walking around due to the noticeable number of homeless people nearby, its advantages outweigh the cons for the price. The supermarket is close by, and New York Cafe is right around the corner, making it the perfect location if you're planning an early morning visit to beat jet lag. (I went there after searching on Google for open cafes nearby without any prior information, and it turned out to be a hot spot!)

On the day of my check-in, when I mentioned my desire for a Chain Bridge view room, the front desk staff at Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only kindly upgraded me to the last available one for free. The panoramic view of the Lion Bridge at sunset from the floor-to-ceiling window was absolutely stunning. Our local tour guide also commented on the hotel's excellent location; you can cross the street directly from the hotel's entrance to get onto the Lion Bridge, and it's also very close to Castle Hill. For breakfast, in addition to fruits, cold cuts, and bread, items like coffee, eggs, and waffles are made fresh from the menu. The room was equipped with an electric kettle, and complimentary items included a bottle of the hotel's own brand wine, a bottle of mineral water, and a bottle of sparkling water. The 'good night' chocolate on the bed was a nice touch too. The only minor drawback was the slightly small room size. If I ever visit again, I would definitely choose Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only!

This hotel's value speaks for itself! I visited during a heatwave in Budapest, and while the Parliament building wasn't lit up, it was still beautiful. The heatwave actually made our stay at this hotel even more worthwhile, as we didn't have to go downstairs and brave the heat to watch the sunrise. We could just enjoy the view of Fisherman's Bastion from the air-conditioned comfort of our room. I'll definitely be back!

I'm writing in Turkish. The hotel is clean, but we didn't really need to use it much anyway. We just slept and rested. The rooms don't have balconies. You have to go out to the garden in front of the lobby to smoke. There are no slippers, but there is soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. The hotel is near the Fisherman's Bastion on the Buda side. We found this hotel to be a more convenient location. Breakfast is included if you want; you mention it when booking, it was around 15 euros per person. However, the Buda area is full of hills and stairs, which is very difficult for families with children. We arrived at the hotel by train from Vienna. It's close to the station. Just be prepared for some hill climbing and sweating. :) The staff are aware of this and have placed benches on every hill for resting. :)

Great location, very close to the Danube and in an upscale area. We happened to check in on a national holiday and caught the fireworks show that night. We needed a triple room, and since I booked just a day in advance, only bunk beds were available. The design was thoughtful, with power outlets and reading lights by the beds, but climbing to the top bunk was a bit difficult. Breakfast was very crowded, possibly due to many business guests. The bread selection was limited, there weren't many cakes, and fresh fruit was scarce. Overall, the breakfast quality was just average.

What I have to complain about is that luggage storage costs money, and there weren't enough large lockers. We had to go to the train station next door to store our luggage, which was much cheaper. The location is great, and the overall stay was good. However, there are three issues I need to point out: First, we asked the front desk for ice, and after 20 minutes, it still hadn't arrived. We called again, and the front desk agent was very polite, asking us to wait a moment, but the ice still never came. Second, the credit card deposit for check-out was supposed to be refunded in a few days, but it's been a week now and it still hasn't been returned. I've emailed the hotel and received no reply, so I have no idea when I'll get it back (this is the slowest refund among all the hotels we stayed at during our two-week Europe trip). Third, the deluxe room I booked, according to the pictures and videos, was supposed to have a bathtub. In reality, my room didn't have one (I carefully reread the room description and found it stated ”shower or bathtub”). The room size was listed as 28-30 square meters, but I'd say it was more like 24-26 square meters; opening two 29-inch suitcases in the hallway made it feel quite cramped.

The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!

The location is excellent, just about a 10-minute walk from Budapest-Nyugati station, which is convenient for those arriving by direct train from Vienna or Slovakia. However, it might feel a bit far if you're lugging a suitcase, and the surroundings can be a little dark at night. There's a bus stop nearby though, so you might be able to avoid walking much if you plan your routes well. The room was exactly as pictured and very charming. The amenities were extensive, making me wish I could have stayed longer. It was also very helpful that they held our luggage after check-out. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent stay at the Radisson Blu Béke Hotel and would happily stay here again. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant décor, spacious and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location for exploring Budapest. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional. The only issue during my stay was a misunderstanding regarding breakfast pricing through Trip.com. While the initial handling of the matter could have been better, the General Manager responded promptly, resolved the issue professionally, and ensured my concerns were taken seriously. I was impressed by the way the hotel ultimately handled the situation. Overall, this is an excellent hotel that I would have no hesitation recommending to anyone visiting Budapest, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

These are really great apartments, with everything you need and very clean. We stayed in building D, and had a partial view of the basilica and a wonderful balcony. The location is convenient; we walked everywhere. There are many restaurants, currency exchange offices, and places to buy a SIM card nearby. We didn't immediately find the reception desk (from the street, it looks like the entrance to an open-air shopping center, then you go straight a bit, and the reception will be on the right). Everything was convenient. The staff were excellent; they even helped us rent a car even though it was the weekend. They took a deposit at check-in (we only had cash), and checked the room at check-out before returning everything. We will definitely stay here again next time.

I spent multiple nights at Akeah Verde Hotel in Budapest for the second time this year on a business trip and I have nothing more to say than just pure perfection and joy during my stay. The hotel has big rooms and cleaning on daily bases. What impressed me the most was the reception team. I met Kriszti, Anna and Bence during my stay. Kriszti truly stands out,she has a lovable personality and was always fast and ready to assist me with my matters. Whenever I needed help, whether asking for directions or solving small issues, she handled everything promptly with a positive attitude. I chose a hotel a short walk from the Danube, in an area that's convenient for getting around, safe, and has a decent commercial scene, as I prefer to avoid places with too many tourists and noisy crowds. The hotel is located next to Liberty Square in District 5, surrounded by many restaurants. It's a good distance from the main attractions, and surprisingly quiet in both the mornings and evenings. The lobby is very comfortable and inviting, with beautifully arranged vases and decorative plates – exactly the style I'd love to have in my own living room. I booked a city view room, and both the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view, especially at night when the buildings across the street are lit up; it's quite beautiful.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Service: I'd like to elaborate on this. We arrived around 6 PM, and there were four front desk staff available for check-in, but the process was incredibly slow. We were told we needed to pay an extra 20 Euros per night for an upgrade, otherwise, we'd be assigned a ground-floor room, where most areas are occupied by the restaurant and gym. So, we agreed to the upgrade. After all three of our rooms paid for the upgrade, one was given a room at the very end of the hall, another had a key card that wouldn't work, and one room had a welcome card with another Marriott Titanium member's name on it. :) If you have high expectations for service, you might want to consider other options.

Noise from the corridor could clearly be heard day and night, seriously affecting our sleep. We were even woken up in shock at midnight by an argument outside our room. Unfortunately, this greatly impacted our overall experience and comfort during the stay.

Our last night on this European trip, and luckily, we got upgraded from a Deluxe King Room to a Deluxe View Room, with a direct view of St. Stephen's Basilica from the window – an unbeatable location with plenty of restaurants nearby, very convenient. We even walked to Fisherman's Bastion around 5 AM to catch the sunrise, which was absolutely beautiful! After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we took a taxi to the airport, concluding our European journey. The front desk staff were professional, patient, and enthusiastic, and communication was smooth with translation software. I just don't understand why they still require a 100 Euro deposit; very few hotels do that nowadays. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities, and the breakfast was rich with a great dining environment. This hotel is highly recommended; if I ever have another chance, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

We even walked to Fisherman's Bastion around 5 AM to catch the sunrise, which was absolutely beautiful! After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we took a taxi to the airport, concluding our European journey. The front desk staff were professional, patient, and enthusiastic, and communication was smooth with translation software. I just don't understand why they still require a 100 Euro deposit; very few hotels do that nowadays. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities, and the breakfast was rich with a great dining environment. This hotel is highly recommended; if I ever have another chance, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, great service, and elegant decor. The windows, however, don't face outside; they open into the lobby. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Fisherman's Bastion and a 5-minute walk from Szechenyi Chain Bridge and the Hungarian National Museum. You can cross the bridge for a Danube River cruise. The breakfast was good. Toiletries and slippers were provided. Lemon water was available at the front desk all day. The bedding was comfortable, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy, so I turned it off. The hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was neat and clean. Although it was facing the street, it was very quiet because the windows couldn't be opened. What I have to complain about is that luggage storage costs money, and there weren't enough large lockers. We had to go to the train station next door to store our luggage, which was much cheaper. The bathroom counter was too small; it got crowded with just a few items.

Arrived at Budapest Airport a little after 6 AM, after a long journey from Tokyo with a 20-hour layover in Guangzhou. As it was my first time visiting Hungary, I was a bit nervous, but I managed to take the 100E bus and Metro Line 1 to the hotel. I got there just before 9 AM and was allowed to check in early. This was a huge help as I was exhausted from the long trip, and I'm very grateful for the hotel's kindness. The hotel is located in a quiet area near Andrássy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has a tranquil atmosphere with a green, leafy terrace. Although it's an older building, it's very well-maintained, and the interior and furnishings were spotlessly clean. The breakfast offered a delicious and varied selection. All the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the cleaning crew, were trustworthy. I believe this is a safe and reliable hotel for foreign guests.

I CAN GIVE THE SERVICE 10000 OUT OF 5 !! 🩷🩷super happy and satisfied with the stay, definitely will come back here if travel again. The only con is there was no elevator (only stairs) but it couldn’t stop me from loving this place! All the staff (maybe 4) I met throughout 2 days of my stay were super friendly, helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond, even the cleaning lady. They helped me with my tricky checkin (i accidentally booked 2 different rooms for 3 days so a bit inconvenient but they helped with luggage and organized everything well) Small hotel, no restaurant but that’s ok. No kettle in the room but can borrow from the communal space. Room nice enough for 1 person. Clean. convenient location , 4 mins walk to the station, 3 mins to bus stop and supermarket

The room had great facilities, the kitchen was nice and well equipped. Maybe the only downside is that the rooms could have a small renovation, but this doesn't take much away from the value. It was very clean and the room was very big.

The hotel was nice and they were kind enough to let us use AC for free of charge due to heatwave. The Staffs in the morning were very nice and helpful but the girl who was in charge for night shift was very rude. She even glowered and yelled at us because we rang the bell at around 12am to open the door (which we were told to and tried to explain her). I never got such attitude in any places in the world and that just ruined our stay here. So prob be careful u might exp sth similar. But I appreciate the two nice staffs in the afternoon
