Quick check in and check out. Daniel checked us both in and out. Room was clean, but a little small, housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was good, food quality good, egg station good Hotel location behind the main road, so was quiet and peaceful. Hotel facade and historical interior was beautiful, it was formerly a bath house in the 1800s.

We stayed at the Hilton Budapest in early July. We had booked a King Danube River Suite / Corner Suite (70 m²) for two nights, but at check-in, we were informed that the hotel had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite with Danube River View (160 m²)! This is the only room of its kind in the entire hotel! The Presidential Suite was absolutely incredible! The room also had a welcome gift from the hotel: a bottle of red wine and two handmade chocolates. We have often favored Hilton hotels for over 25 years, but upgrades have been rare. Hilton Budapest is quite large (322 rooms) and boasts a prime central location on the Buda side of Budapest, offering stunning views of the Danube River and other landmarks on the Pest side of the city. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The Executive Club Lounge offers a good selection of alcoholic beverages, along with a wide assortment of food and drinks. The food selection can vary, unfortunately, from excellent to quite lackluster. The service, however, is consistently top-notch. In summary: The hotel is centrally located, close to all major attractions. It offers excellent service and cleanliness, as well as fantastic bedding and mesmerizing views of the Danube and Parliament from the window! There are many great places to walk around the hotel, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Our immense gratitude goes to the hotel management for the superb service, attention to detail, and the organization of flawless operations, cleanliness, and comfort. It's clear that the management genuinely cares about their guests and puts their heart into their work! Special thanks to the General Manager, Hajnalka Hegedüs, for her efforts and passion, which allow guests to enjoy such impeccable luxury service! This is a hotel we'd love to return to, where you always feel like a valued guest. Hilton Budapest definitely deserves all five stars it has; we can undoubtedly recommend it for a stay and for visiting the city of Budapest! Suggestion: Add background music to the Executive Lounge.

First and foremost, the service is the best I've encountered in dozens of European countries. From the concierge to the front desk to room service, you truly feel honored and comfortable. The valet always leaves my car immaculately clean before handing it over to me, and even provides bottled water based on the number of people in the car before departure. Such thoughtful details. The hotel's location and amenities are also excellent. This is a hotel brand under the UAE Royal Group, and I highly recommend it!

The location was good and clean, but the bed was small and a little uncomfortable. Although it was cleaned during my stay, it was not vacuumed, so a lot of hair and dust accumulated in the room. Breakfast was decent, but the juice bottle was sticky and there were some bugs along with the bread. We were together and the coffee made from coffee beans was delicious. The staff was reasonably friendly, but I wouldn't visit again.

The room was as cute as pictured. I stayed for 3 days, but I was bothered by the smell in the bathroom. I don't think the exhaust fan was working. It was fine when showering, but it was a shame that there was a strong sewage smell when I woke up and went to the bathroom or before showering. Also, there are shops within walking distance of the hotel, but after 8 PM, when it gets dark, I felt that the area was less safe compared to the Buda Castle area. The subway and buses were very convenient as they accepted credit card tap payments, but I think it would be more economical for guests staying at this hotel to buy and use a pass. This is a chain hotel, found all over the world, and the Budapest location is quite large compared to others in Europe. The hotel's location depends on personal preference. It's situated on a bustling commercial pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants, vibrant from 10 AM until midnight. Most attractions (except for the thermal baths) are about a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast was decent and offered a good variety. The downside of this hotel is that it's a bit far from public transportation and it's quite noisy. You enter directly into a bar, and the front desk, which consists of three simple tables, is past that. Around 11:40 PM, someone started banging loudly on my door, waking me up. I asked who it was and why they were knocking, but they didn't answer, just kept banging. It was probably a drunk person. I called the front desk, and it took a while for someone to pick up. When they finally did, I explained that someone was knocking on my door and I didn't know who it was, asking them to come check. The staff member said they didn't know who it was either and then dismissed my concern. Luckily, the person eventually left. This kind of service attitude is unacceptable, especially given the potential safety issue. I definitely won't be staying at this hotel again on my next trip to Budapest.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Right behind it is the commercial center Flosmarti Square, and just down from the square is Váci Street, which leads directly to the Central Market. The Parliament Building is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The room features a great wet/dry separation, and the design is very well thought out, with a spacious shower. The hotel's room service is excellent; they even come in every afternoon to turn down the bed, tidy up, and close the curtains to create a perfect sleeping atmosphere. The front desk check-in was a bit frosty. Initially, when we arrived around 1 or 2 PM, they insisted check-in was strictly at 3 PM. However, after asking someone nearby, who might have been a manager, they said we could check in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

A centrally located decent hotel with outstanding amenities. Cleanliness: clean and spotless (not so for my coffee machine but not a big deal as I didn’t use it) Room: nice room, with a lot of seating area, which is a major plus! There are some unobvious parts which are a bit dated, like the tiles on the shower, but not a major issue Location: very central, walking distance to most of the attractions, Budapest Opera House is just behind it, while Danube River is just 10 mins away! Amenities: outstanding! Lounge area on the ground floor offers free coffee and chocolate with snacks 24/7, a heated drying rack in the bathroom for drying your wet clothes, and a few wall hooks for coats when you enter the room! The front desk guy was really nice. He gave me a room with a great view, basically right across from Buda Castle. The scenery was superb! I lost my credit card in Austria and explained it to him, and he didn't even charge me a deposit. The only downside is that the hotel is right above a boat dock. Every night, some singing starts, and the bass kicks in with a booming sound until past midnight. It's really not conducive to sleep! If you have trouble sleeping, I'd suggest thinking twice before booking. I saw comments before about it being noisy at night but completely ignored them, and now I'm paying the price. Definitely should have paid more attention to previous reviews.

The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant décor, spacious and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location for exploring Budapest. Everything was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, and the breakfast offered a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality food. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional. The only issue during my stay was a misunderstanding regarding breakfast pricing through Trip.com. While the initial handling of the matter could have been better, the General Manager responded promptly, resolved the issue professionally, and ensured my concerns were taken seriously. The hotel is located in a good area of the city, within walking distance of many attractions, public transport, shops, and restaurants. The hotel only serves breakfast, and there's no room service for other orders. The safe didn't work. The cleanliness wasn't up to a very high standard. The transparent glass in the toilet and bathroom caused inconvenience. The hotel didn't help with an early check-in, even for just 2 hours, so we had to book an additional room for the day at extra cost to rest after an overnight flight, even though the hotel wasn't full. The only minor inconvenience was that the window faced an air shaft, which made it a hassle if you didn't close the curtains. This isn't a bad hotel, but it definitely needs a cosmetic renovation. It doesn't quite live up to a 4-star rating. Our room didn't have a kettle. After asking twice, they finally brought one. The location isn't bad. It's not central, but the metro is just a five-minute walk away. There are many restaurants nearby and a large supermarket with an excellent market on the -1 floor. The elevator is a separate horror story at this hotel. It's constantly busy, especially in the mornings. It can't handle the number of guests, and the housekeepers use it a lot in the mornings. There's on-site parking available for 20 euros a day!

Before I went there, I asked a few friends. They all recommended the Hilton in Fisherman's Bastion. But after doing some research, I felt that the facilities were old and it seemed that I could only take photos. I had a purpose for this trip, which was to experience the glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. So I wanted to stay in the castle and finally decided on Hyatt's Choice, which is as famous as Paris Coffee and New York Coffee. (I will write another article about this later. First of all, the lobby is really gorgeous. I asked the front desk and they said that this place used to be a shopping mall with a history of 100 years. Then the facilities in his room are very new. P3~7 is the room and 8~9 is the view outside the window. I really think I booked this location very well. And the transportation is also very convenient. You can walk to eat and drink. Finally, I remind everyone that if you go there, you can walk up the stairs. Because the floor height is not very high, but the stairs are really beautiful. It should be as photogenic as Hilton.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Breakfast was included in the price, and we were always full. They had three types of cheese, two kinds of sausage, coffee, tea, and juices. Sometimes fruit would run out early, but then everyone would get some. There were also scrambled eggs, beans, vegetables, and delicious pastries. Cereal was available for kids. Our room was 509. The air conditioning worked well, but it was positioned right in front of the bed and blew directly on us. Towels were changed daily, and they provided water. We checked out late at night, and they kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us beforehand. They were very thoughtful, wrapping sandwiches with butter, cheese, and sausage in film. The hotel's location is fantastic; you can walk everywhere. Make sure to buy your tram and metro tickets in advance. They are valid for two years from the date of purchase. I didn't know this, hopped on a tram, and within a second and a half, a ticket inspector approached me. I offered him money for the fare, but he demanded a ticket. I was immediately fined 12,000 forints. I didn't even have time to understand what was happening. Despite that, the hotel is good, and I would stay here again. The location is awesome!

RUЕкатерина в КитаеBreakfast was included in the price, and we were always full. I used the laundry service at the front desk and was asked if I needed it urgently. I said yes, and they told me it would be ready in 4-6 hours. When I picked it up, the clothes had been washed, put in the dryer, and then just handed back to me. The overall facilities and location were also good.

The hotel is in a great location, with a metro station nearby, which makes it easy to get around the city. It takes no more than 10–15 minutes to reach the centre of Budapest by metro. The breakfast offers a good selection of food. On the downside, the bed linen was not very clean — I found quite a few hairs on it and noticed a couple of ants in the bathroom. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice of hotel.

The biggest issue with most chain hotels in Europe during the summer is their energy saving measures… particularly with the air conditioning. It's shockingly bad! First, you have to go downstairs and ask for it to be activated, but even then, you never really have effective control over the temperature. This was the main problem – a hot room due to inadequate AC cooling. Good location, nice rooftop, and attentive staff, but the AC was hot 🥵!

The accommodation is close to several supermarkets. It's about a 1.5km walk to catch the 100E bus to the airport. The breakfast exceeded expectations.
