My wife and I got a good deal from British Airways for flight and 3 nights. I do not know what the standard rate is for a room. The room and bathroom were well designed for space for clothes, cosmetics, etc. The only fault is that the safe is at floor level and I did not want to lie down on the floor to use it, and so valuables remained with me. The air conditioning did not make it cool enough to sleep comfortably. Th WiFi was easy to access but feeble. The room was small and there was only one chair; luckily we only needed the room for sleeping. It was clean as was the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was good with hot and cold choices although there was no choice to ask for anything special, such as fried eggs. The central location was very good. On the whole I would recommend the hotel if you can get a cheap rate and if you only want to sleep in the room.

In beautiful Budapest, this hotel is a jewel in the crown. To start its in an excellent location, on Andrassy Avenue, so centre of the city. Just round the corner within 2 mins walk is St Stephen's Basilica, where you can catch the hop-on/hop-off city tour bus which is a great way to get around and see the sights. The iconic Chain Bridge and the riverside is within 5-10 mins walk. The hotel itself is superb - it is how you wish every hotel you stay in to be. From the moment you set foot inside the sliding glass doors and breathe in the welcoming vanilla aroma , you are in heaven. The rooms are plush, well designed and beds extremely comfortable. Shower rooms modern and up to the minute and very functional and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The coffee lounge is a great place to unwind with complimentary teas and coffee, with the salted nuts and pretzels a nice touch. The breakfast is excellent with a great choice of continental and cooked breakfast fare along with artisan breads, fresh fruit, pancakes etc even my favourite smoked salmon- pretty much everyone's palate is catered for.....oh and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, there are the staff. They are wonderful - polite, pleasant, and do an excellent job in looking after their guests. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they certainly know what great customer service is about. This applied to everyone we met during our long weekend stay here - including the manager, reception staff, the cheery young man who checked us in for breakfast in the morning who always made time to chat and the housekeeping staff. They are all to be commended as they make what is a very good hotel into a great one. We shall definitely come back to this beautiful city in the future and would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend this hotel to others. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

I recently stayed at Intercontinental Budapest for a 3 night stay. The hotel is perfectly located, as central as you can be in Budapest. It's a beautiful building at the most ideal possible location, right in the heart and center of Budapest in district 5. Walking distance from the Danube River promenade and with a beautiful view of the river, It doesn't get any better. My check-in was smooth as all Intercontinental Hotels though less courteous than what I am used to. Strangely, noone was provided to take luggage to my room. Though I don't mind it much, it can be an issue for some travellers. My room was at 4th floor. It was spacious and tidy with a nice view, comfy bed and all typical IC amenities available. Nespresso Coffee Machine is provided, USB charging port is a good upgrade as you can charge your phone directly even if you don't have an European socket. In a nutshell, good room. House keeping though facing language barrier, was adequately responsive during my stay. All the rest of staff mostly act as statues in a limbo. Not replying to greetings, not coming forward for anything, though not rude as well. I found them so mechanical that one can't fail to notice. I have posted a separate review about the restaurants in the hotel, but staff attitude at the restaurants was quite plastic too, except one girl, who was always efficient and concerned. Other than that, noone visited my table even once. Intercontinental Budapest is a nice clean hotel, the location is perfect. Only thing missing is the welcoming staff.

Because I ’m not familiar with Google Maps, almost all the way down to people. The handsome local brother helped me carry my suitcase on the stone road, turned several streets and took me to the door of the hotel. Thanks to the warm and kind people in Budapest. In fact, I later found that there is a more convenient way from the airport bus to the hotel. I like the location of the hotel most. Take a quiet time out of the gate. Turn left and walk to the street crossing the road to cross the bridge. Turn right and not far is the important sight of Budapest, St. Ishte's Temple. There are also many restaurants and coffee shops near the hotel. Everyone is relaxing and eating, drinking and enjoying leisure time! The hotel has a turn-down service with two small chocolates and a capsule coffee machine. Nice place and time, maybe someday will run to relive!

Perfect location & amp; professional and friendly staffs. We will come back again 1. The front desk is very professional and the service is very good. WiFi is free. Early check-in is arranged. Umbrellas are provided to help in rainy days. The cleaning staff and restaurant service staff were very professional. Breakfast is not many, but basic meals are available. 2, booked bedroom apartment, the environment is clean and hygienic. The kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom are all very convenient and satisfying. 3. During the special domestic epidemic period, all the service staff did not have any unfriendly words and deeds. Thank you very much for their professional services. 4. The hotel is located in the 5th district, within 30 meters of the street is Watts Avenue, the environment is very safe, restaurants and shopping are very convenient. Within 100 meters is the White Elizabeth Bridge over the Danube, You can walk to the Central Market in about one kilometer. On the right, you can reach the Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, and after passing the bridge, there is Castle Hill with the Buda Palace on the right, the Magas Church on the right (the crowned place of Princess Sissi with her bust), Fisherman's Bastion, and Trinity Square; About a kilometer behind is the St. Ishte Pantheon, Andrassy Avenue, which runs through the Opera House, and ends at the Heroes' Square (left and right are the National Gallery and the Palace of Arts), After passing through, it is a city park, next to the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, VIDam park (one of the film twin killer locations), Szechenyi hot spring ... We spent 4 nights at the hotel in mid February 2020, just prior to Covid-19 starting to cause havoc around the world. The hotel is centrally located on Deak square, right next to a major Metro hub. We booked a Club room using 62K points a night, but as no Club rooms were available, we received a Deluxe room with a view and Club benefits – room 724. Check in was quick and we were able to check in as early as 11:15AM. We were offered an upgrade to a suite for an exuberant sum, which we declined. Our room was a very spacious corner connecting room on the 7th floor with views to the Budapest Eye and the Basilica. It featured 2 queen beds, a large TV (with very few decent channels), a work desk and chair, a sofa and a coffee table, a minibar, a safe and some fine lighting elements. The bathroom was large with a tub, toilet, shower (with a rather weak water pressure), sink and Asprey amenities (the Purple Water series). Unfortunately, after the 1st night, the bathroom started smelling of sewage and urine, and despite reporting this, it was not resolved throughout our stay. Housekeeping was pretty average with sheet not being replaced (despite asking for them to be replaced), missing amenities we had to repeatedly ask for, and a torn towel and sheet. The shaking from the Metro were felt in the room, as was the noise. There was zero isolation from the street noise (and Deak square is VERY noisy throughout the day and night and lorries constantly beep when unloading goods at the hotel’s side), zero isolation from the connecting room (which felt VERY embarrassing at times…) and no decent light-proofing at all. The hotel featured a nice gym and a beautiful small pool with a tiny hot tub, which was open until 10PM. The pool was too cold for comfort (at 28 degrees) and the hot tub was only 36 degrees. There were barely any loungers next to the pool, which means the place was packed when 10 people were there. The Club lounge is located on the 8th floor and is open from the early morning until 10PM. It features an all day hot and cold drinks and some nibbles. Breakfast was VERY poor with very little to choose from (we were not given the option to have breakfast at the downstairs restaurant). Brunch included soup, sandwiches and salads. Afternoon tea time featured some pastries and sweets. Dinner was a small buffet with several hot and cold choices to choose from. Desserts were rather average generic desserts with nothing authentic nor Hungarian. Unfortunately, the hotel’s policy is to allow children at the lounge at all times, which totally destroys the atmosphere, especially in the late evening (unless your idea of fun is screaming children running all over the place and their parents ignoring them). The attendants at the lounge, however, were charming, and even offered us 2 bars of chocolate upon checking out. Bottom line – while this is a good hotel, we expected much, much more from a Ritz Carlton, but it seems th

The hotel is in a good location. Take the train from Vienna and arrive at the Keleti train station. It is just across the train station and it takes about 5 minutes to walk. It is very convenient to take the subway, bus and trams in the surrounding area. The bus stop is at the entrance of the hotel. The room facilities were a bit old, but they were clean and cleaned, and one day they were not cleaned. The two single beds are about one meter wide. If two adults bring a child, they may live a bit crowded. Booked Superior Twin Room, the fleshy on the balcony is great! There is also dissatisfaction that the price of booking a few months in advance is actually higher than the order set later, and the previous order can not be retired, making people feel uncomfortable.

Located 10 minutes walk from the Deak Ferenc ter bus stop -100E (be sure to get the airport ticket, a cost of 900huf at the time kf this writing), this hotel is in a great location for tourists. Lots of places to eat authentic Hungarian food around, short walk to the Danube River (I walked across 2 bridges and walked to the castle) and a lot of places to see around. I was solo and the room was more than big enough. Very clean bathroom, room was great. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Clean sheets, clean blankets and clean shower. There is a restaurant on in the lobby, but did not eat there. I arrived before 11am so my room wasn't ready, but the front desk stored my bags which allowed me time to explore. Very happy I stayed at this hotel and would stay again. Budapest is a beautiful city! Before the staff elevator, pictured, as it is confusing!!

I have had the immense pleasure to have been to this beautiful hotel 3 times now. The entrance is grandiose, befitting of a Palace, however once inside the extravagance continues. Despite being a 5 star hotel, you are made to feel at home immediately. My requests for more milk, sugar and coffee were seen to in seconds. The rooms are very comfortable with beds that you just could lie in forever. The bathroom, well this is where this hotel comes into its own. Sumptuous, marble, lights, shower, bath etc. Also the little extras such as the gels, soaps, towels, bathrobes, are all high quality. Also you're given an update on the weather temp for the following day, via a card left in the bathroom. The mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities are excellent. Now onto the Spa. Oh the Spa! The gym is gargantuan, with all the equipment you could possibly need. The pool I used most days, as well as the steam room and sauna, 2 of each for men and women. Comfortable recliner chairs, ample towels and lush robes. Huge changing rooms with showers and little extras such as combs, creams, toners etc. You could, quite frankly, spend your entire time in the spa. December is by far the best month as Budapest has Christmas markets. No other country does Christmas like the Hungarians. They certainly know how to make you feel festive. The Four Seasons has an immense Christmas tree with gorgeous decorations at this time. Whenever you stay at the Gresham Palace you are guaranteed a phenomenal stay.

We were lucky enough to spend 3 magical nights at this stunning new hotel in early June 2019, during the hotel's soft opening. The hotel is very centrally located next to Ferenciek square, a 5-minute stroll from the Elizabeth bridge and a 2-minute walk from the famous Váci street. The hotel's building is the famous and historic Párisi Udvar, a late 19th century shopping center, which has been painstakingly and lovingly renovated and is now a stunning 5-star hotel. The word "stunning" isn't enough, though. As when I say "stunning", I mean jaw-dropping stunning, which is exactly what happens when you enter the hotel's lobby. Words can barely describe just how magical the interior is. It combines both Gothic and Moorish elements to create a palatial environment, which makes Gresham Palace look like a youth hostel. You will spend a very long time staring at the high arch ceiling of the lobby and its decorations, as the renovation work was absolutely incredible. We checked in at around 16:30 and were escorted to our brand new room – room 212. We booked a regular room using 8,000 Hyatt point (an insanely incredible value) and as Hyatt Explorists, received a triple upgrade to a Deluxe room, facing the Ferenciek square. Wonderful! The room was apx. 36 square meters in size and was absolutely stunningly designed. It featured 2 twin beds, an HD large TV, a coffee machine, a desk and table, an armchair, a beautiful closet, a safe, a minibar, electric blinds and a very high ceiling. The bathroom was very large in size and very elegant, too. It featured a sing, toilet, bidet a bath tub (with a brilliant shower head) and large fluffy new towels, robes and slippers. The bathroom amenities were from Noir. The rest of the hotel is as beautiful with a gorgeous atrium (leading to Club Lounge – which wasn't still operational during our stay), several conference rooms, a small gym and a lovely spa. The hotel also features a beautiful bar and restaurant on the lobby level, which we did not get a chance to sample. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly, fluent in English and take real pride at the new hotel (as they should). Bottom line – words really fail to describe just how phenomenal-looking the hotel is. Take a couple of minutes to see the photos I've posted with this review. This hotel is the ONLY place you should consider while visiting Budapest and I cannot wait for my next stay in it. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful city! We were privileged to stay at the Petnehazy Club Hotel, located in an isolated and forested area. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a week's stay. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful with good places to walk, the people who were at the reception desk spoke enough English that we were able to ask the questions that we had. Even though it's a bit out of the range of the great transit system in Budapest the hotel has a morning and evening run to the transit center. When we missed the hotel run we were able to take a taxi. I hope that I have the opportunity to stay here again . The restaurant was convenient and the food was great.
