If I was being picky bed clothes a bir light we went in February and requested extra blanket. Its a bit expensive but honestly we'll worth it when you see the other hotels around you. What a lovely stay! The hotel is super nice, the rooms were very confortable and the breakfast was very good with very nice options. Quick check in and check out. Daniel checked us both in and out. Room was clean, but a little small, housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was good, food quality good, egg station good Hotel location behind the main road, so was quiet and peaceful. Hotel facade and historical interior was beautiful, it was formerly a bath house in the 1800s.

Great central location, super convenient, right next to the famous New York Cafe. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, like a concert hall, very grand and ceremonial. The lobby is quite lovely too. My only minor complaint was at checkout; when I spoke to one of the receptionists, a Caucasian woman, she didn't even bother to look up. It was the other female receptionist next to her who actually helped me.

Outstanding Gold Standard Hotel. We stayed five nights in the hotel, and from the time we arrived, we enjoyed the most outstanding professional and welcoming hospitality of the hotel staff. To our suprise, most of the staff communicated well in English and were always welcoming, professional, and friendly. The superior studio provided a spectacular view of the Danube River and the majestic Chain Bridge. The view of the city was absolutely magnificent, especially at night time. Everything in the room was of high standard, and having stayed at many hotels around the world, we could say without hesitation that the soundproofing in the room was Gold Standard. For the first time, we were not disturbed by any external noise from the hotel or from traffic noise from outside the hoìtel. This made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the hotel for making our stay in Budapest spectacular!

Front desk is super! I needed to see a doctor or get some medication on Good Friday which was a public holiday. The duty manager and front desk staff assisted me with an address for a 24h pharmacy located out of the city centre by train. I managed to get the medication eventually, as well as see the community neighbourhood too on a quiet Friday morning. The room I stayed in faced the Parliament building and morning sun too. It was very warm despite with the AC turned on and lasted even through the nights we stayed. Our request for a fan helped a little to ventilate the room. But this may be just the problem for the room we stayed in. Housekeeping staff is nice and pleasant. The standard of beds made was only average. But perhaps, this was the expected standard for Novotel hotels in Budapest. Other than these, the room view facing the Danube was amazing and the location is near to Castle District. Our stay was pleasant overall.

First and foremost, the service is the best I've encountered in dozens of European countries. From the concierge to the front desk to room service, you truly feel honored and comfortable. The valet always leaves my car immaculately clean before handing it over to me, and even provides bottled water based on the number of people in the car before departure. Such thoughtful details. The hotel's location and amenities are also excellent. This is a hotel brand under the UAE Royal Group, and I highly recommend it!

Just returned from 4 day trip to Budapest Xmas markets. Hotel location is excellent for this as just a few paces away from the main section of the Danube as well as the Xmas markets. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was self service with a fair choice of hot and cold foods. Front desk Staff were very helpful. Only negative is there is not an area in the hotel where we were able to meet up to have a drink with friends we travelled with , so always had to go out and find a separate bar/ coffee shop to do this.

One thing really upset me! The blinds in my room were broken. I reported it that same day, and the Macedonian guy told me the maintenance worker wouldn't be in until Monday. So, on Monday, I told the front desk again. The Hungarian guy there promised it would be fixed that day, but it never was. Later, when I spoke to the Macedonian guy about it, he immediately snapped back, saying he had told maintenance that they finished work at 4 PM. I thought to myself, 'Does he really need to be that angry?' Maybe his colleague didn't inform him, but it's certainly not my fault. Afterward, when I asked to change rooms, the Macedonian guy had a very impatient attitude! I think that Macedonian guy's customer service skills need some training! And one of the elevators is always out of order…

Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

Room is fine but you're given nothing, not even a cheap pair of slippers. Location is nice, directly by the Danube and a metro station, but presumably noisy at weekends. Staff are all friendly and accommodating bar one girl at reception who insisted I, though obviously tired upon arrival, go and withdraw money to pay the city tax before allowing me to check in (only alternative was giving her my card details); no apologies, no empathy, I'm sorry but look up sociopath in a dictionary.

The Marriott's location is absolutely fantastic, but the room size was surprisingly small, and the bathroom made me feel like I'd stepped into a 3-star motel! Perhaps because of the location, our river view room offered beautiful views of the Danube and Chain Bridge, both day and night. Plus, Pier 7 is right downstairs, making boat trips super convenient. However, on weekend nights, the downstairs dance bar doesn't quiet down until 11 or 12, and you can still hear the noise even with the windows closed. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider that, but the view truly is excellent. The hotel's front desk staff were very helpful and even booked a taxi for us to the airport. The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions. Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me. You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor. Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new. The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

It takes about 25 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel, costing less than 12,000 Forints. A taxi from the hotel to the high-speed rail station is 2,600 Forints. Hotel: The front desk staff speak fluent English. You can proactively ask the hotel for toothbrushes and slippers. There's a large bottle of water in the room. Breakfast is quite Western-style. The location is convenient; we walked everywhere. There are many restaurants, currency exchange offices, and places to buy a SIM card nearby. We didn't immediately find the reception desk (from the street, it looks like the entrance to an open-air shopping center, then you go straight a bit, and the reception will be on the right). Everything was convenient. The staff were excellent; they even helped us rent a car even though it was the weekend. Before I went there, I asked a few friends. They all recommended the Hilton in Fisherman's Bastion. But after doing some research, I felt that the facilities were old and it seemed that I could only take photos. I had a purpose for this trip, which was to experience the glory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. So I wanted to stay in the castle and finally decided on Hyatt's Choice, which is as famous as Paris Coffee and New York Coffee. (I will write another article about this later. First of all, the lobby is really gorgeous. I asked the front desk and they said that this place used to be a shopping mall with a history of 100 years. Then the facilities in his room are very new. P3~7 is the room and 8~9 is the view outside the window. I really think I booked this location very well. And the transportation is also very convenient. You can walk to eat and drink. Finally, I remind everyone that if you go there, you can walk up the stairs. Because the floor height is not very high, but the stairs are really beautiful. It should be as photogenic as Hilton.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, just steps from the food street, with Chinese and Western restaurants nearby, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. Various attractions are also within walking distance. The hotel was newly renovated in 2022, and all the facilities are very good. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff are very warm and friendly—I would have given them full marks for service! However, on my last day at breakfast, I got burned by the food tongs. The tongs were extremely hot and placed on the food plate (I guess the tongs and food had just been taken out of the oven). This shouldn't happen in a five-star hotel.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.
