Nice simple breakfast. Convenient hotel shuttle pick up from airport arrival pillar 16 after calling hotel via Trip.com app internet call. Next to Hilton service apartment. Nice no nonsense business hotel efficiency. Loved that concierge took iniative to book our check out hotel shuttle bus slot with out prompting. Also took an Uber to Deerfoot mall which is 12min away. Nice. Got bear spray from Bass pro and restocked at Walmarts. Just right blend of value and convenience for our family trip to Banff Jasper. Oh remember to check you are going to the Airport NORTH Hampton Inn before getting on the shuttle

The staff were all so nice, friendly, and approachable. They assisted us wonderfully during check-in and check-out. The breakfast had a great variety of delicious food. We truly enjoyed it! The front desk staff at the restaurant during breakfast was so thoughtful as she kindly gave me a to go cup for my coffee without me even having to ask. We truly had a great stay and appreciate the warm hospitality!

The location is great, right in the city center, with a supermarket next door for convenient shopping. However, the soundproofing isn't very good; you can easily be woken up by public transportation in the early morning. Those with sensitive ears should definitely bring their own earplugs.

I came to the hotel by taxi so I don't know access. It's not such a big hotel. The room was large and clean. I asked for a taxi at 6 am at 7:30, but the receptionist couldn't take over at the time of the morning change, and the taxi didn't come. I had him call me back immediately, but he couldn't make it in time for the tour. The restaurant at the hotel was a bit expensive but delicious.

The location is great! They offer private airport transfers and it's a popular base for tour groups, which is super convenient as you don't have to constantly move around. There are also supermarkets nearby for easy shopping. For those planning a self-drive trip, it's not far from Highway 1, so everything is just perfect. My only slight disappointment was the lack of a hot water kettle in the room, which isn't ideal for us Asians who prefer hot drinks. Also, even though I only stayed one night, I was bothered by two Western girls. First, they were laughing loudly outside my door, then they knocked and ran away, only for me to open the door and see them laughing elsewhere with a phone propped up on the floor filming my doorway. Maybe it was some kind of YouTube prank! Anyway, I felt disturbed by them! I didn't feel comfortable filming them, but I hope the hotel takes this seriously.

There are fast food options in the airport like Tim Hortons, Japanese food, burgers, and sandwiches, so you can grab breakfast there if it's not included with your stay. A quick complaint about WestJet's check-in speed: we waited in line for 40 minutes and the line barely moved. I had to shamelessly ask some foreigners if I could cut in front of them, otherwise, we would have missed our flight.

The service was excellent and the room is very comfortable. They gave us an upgrade and let us check out a little early, which was really nice. The view from the room was great and it was good to have coffee and a microwave in the room. The noise from the passing tram and plaza just outside was a little loud, but we slept well (me with earplugs). Also, downtown Calgary is a bit sketchy just in general, not the hotels fault though. It is walking distance to attractions and prices.

Location strategic as there are fewer homeless people around compared with the 7th Avenue or core shopping area, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. It's near Chinatown too. I however do not particularly like this hotel as there's no kettle inside the room, air conditioning is rather strong and couldn't be adjusted except the temperature. Nothing to eat nearby and the restaurant on 2/F requires booking. The hotel doesn't have a character itself. Most ridiculous is that they require a security deposit by really debiting my credit card upon my checkin (usually hotels won't present the card for similar deposit as security).

The front desk staff, both the ladies and the young men, were very enthusiastic, and there was even a Chinese gentleman who spoke Mandarin. The room facilities are standard, typical of a convenient five-star hotel. The only downside is that parking costs extra and is a bit pricey, which was a bit painful. Overall, it offers good value for money and is worth recommending.

The room having a sofa and a sink was very convenient, and it would have been perfect if it wasn't a bit chilly. The jacuzzi in the pool area is a great photo spot. Valet parking is available, and there's also a parking lot. The staff are friendly. Instead of the breakfast buffet, I opted for a morning sandwich at a nearby Starbucks. It was nice that I could walk to Calgary Tower while enjoying the shopping street along the way.

The airport shuttle bus is convenient. From the airport, you call the hotel using the dedicated shuttle bus phone. From the hotel, you tell the front desk your desired time, and they tell you the departure time. The air conditioning was old and a bit noisy, but it wasn't an issue since we arrived late after sightseeing in Banff and departed early the next morning from the airport. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service was pleasant.

We stayed at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino hotel because we wanted to try the $50 prime rib buffet at the Mohave Grill. The prime rib was amazing by the way. My husband and noticed that hotels were really expensive that weekend, so we thought to pay an extra $40 and stay somewhere that we thought was going to be more bougie than an Econolodge. Upon check-in, the staff were friendly and let us check in early without an extra charge. The rooms were clean and neat. The beds however were not the most comfortable, so the sleep wasn't that great. The tub was also not the greatest as it feels like it was made for a small child, and I'm a medium build at 5'3. We have stayed in Comfort Inns, Econolodges, and other hotels like them and we found the Deerfoot Inn to be the same room-wise. We got our stay for $200 for the night and that was without a continental breakfast. A lot of the time I have seen this hotel at over $300 a night. I wouldn't stay here again unless the rooms are around $160, which to us is what they should be. It was a waste of the extra $40 to stay here when you can get the same room at a cheaper hotel with breakfast. Yes, they have the Casino so there is a little bit more to do walking around but still not worth the room price.

The bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out. Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.

My fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily which was nice returning to a tidy clean room. Coffee and tea were replenished daily which was great. I will highly recommend to friends and family. The hotel was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was provided to the airport which was convenient. I liked the lobby display ready for the 2015 Calgary Stampede from July 1st 2025 for ten days.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We booked our stay through Trip.com and paid for a room with specific requirements. When we arrived, we were given a room that did not match what we had paid for. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. He refused to give us the correct room at first and even stated that he did not know the Trip.com platform at all, which is very concerning for a hotel that accepts reservations through it. On top of that, his attitude made us feel as if we were “lucky” to be given the room we had already paid for, which is completely unacceptable. The way the situation was handled showed poor communication skills and a lack of professionalism. Between the issue with the reservation and the attitude of the front desk staff, the experience was frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are booking through third-party platforms like Trip.com.

The hotel is friendly to families, with complete facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. This hotel shares a gym, swimming pool, and self-service laundry with another Marriott hotel nearby, which is also very convenient. The sofa bed is not very big, but it is no problem to sleep two children, but be careful about the edges of the sofa bed. I booked a corner room at the far end, which is larger but a bit far from the elevator. It's still OK for a one-night layover at Calgary Airport before going to Banff, but it's a bit old.

It says non- smoking rooms but not the room I got. I called front desk complained about it and they just sent a staff to being me air freshener which I didn’t use because i have allergies. The smell of cigar triggered my migraine, the smell sticked to my clothes and hair, blankets and pillows smells cigar even the washroom. I had to get out of my room early the following day and wait for 2 hours at the front desk and wait for my service car to pick me up.

Hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Canada. For a Canadian hotel, it's quite new for a 4-star, and the room amenities are excellent. The bedding is incredibly comfortable; once you lie down, you won't want to get up. The hotel's location is also great, right in the city center. There's a Bus 300 stop nearby that goes to and from the airport. Plus, one of the top-rated steak restaurants is just around the corner.

We loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!

The plan is not as good as the changing trip to Calgary. Fortunately, it was a great surprise and joy along the River Ridge Hotel. I stayed for 4 consecutive nights. The room space, facilities, common living room layout and breakfast snacks were all done in place and intimate. It’s really comfortable to make breakfast and sit in the sun every morning. The hotel environment is not to mention, just by the Bao River, there are two different styles of riverside parks at both ends. Even if you visit the hotel around the hotel, you can enjoy the autumn colors and different scenery of Canada.

This hotel was perfect for an overnight layover. It's about an 8-9 minute drive from the airport. The pick-up service was excellent; after collecting my luggage, I called the hotel and the car arrived in about 10 minutes. For drop-off, you just need to book in advance with the front desk. The room was spacious and comfortable. There's a Burger King and a cafe serving lunch and dinner just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. They offer a standard American breakfast. Overall, everything was good and it's great value for money. The only significant drawback was how loud the air conditioner in the room was.

This is a new hotel (2026) and its fresh new decor is very attractive. My King room offered a very large, wonderfully comfortable bed with excellent pillows of different firmness., A beautiful bathroom with large powerful walk-in shower, huge lit mirror and pump toiletries. The constant dim light from the electrical socket in the bathroom was useful to avoid switching on main lights at nighttime. A bathrobe option would have been nice but was not available. There was no large towel rail in the bathroom which would have helped dry damp bath towels. Plenty of drawer space and small clothes hanging area though 4 hooks in the hall area made up for this.There was a limited choice of tea in the room, though the coffee nespresso pods were good and offered decaf also. There is a well appointed gym on the 16th floor with towels and water available. Nice view. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as choice was relatively limited and fresh cut fruit ran out quickly and was apparently replaced with tinned (though I didn't experience this myself). Coffee was available all day on the 2nd floor restaurant. I would recommend and stay again. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The airport shuttle bus is convenient. From the airport, you call the hotel using the dedicated shuttle bus phone. From the hotel, you tell the front desk your desired time, and they tell you the departure time. The air conditioning was old and a bit noisy, but it wasn't an issue since we arrived late after sightseeing in Banff and departed early the next morning from the airport. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service was pleasant.

The bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out. Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It’s a great choice for families, especially those traveling with children. There’s plenty for kids to do, and it made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The pool with the water slide was great — the kids absolutely loved it! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. We would definitely come back again!
