This hotel has some good points: 1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests. 2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area. 3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool. However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas: 1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience. 2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved. 3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted. 4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service. We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

The picture of the room I selected showed a double bed. The mention said you could get either one on arrival...a double bed or a single bunk bed. But that is not true. The price for the room I selected was for a single bunk bed only. This is what we were told after arrving. The double bed was P200 extra a night. We paid but complained at Trip.com. We got P400 credit for the next booking. How to call this practice from the hotel? Not honest. Advertising something that is not true. I will make sure Trip.com change that. Hotel near a road with a lot of traffic. Walls very thin, can hear people next room. Same for the floor...could hear people walking above.

We stayed Nov at the 3rd floor back view and it was so hot specially in the morning time were the sun is facing the window. You cannot stand to stay in the room and bear the hot tempreture inside the room. And in the evening since you need to open the window to let cold wind circulate in the room but the downside you can hear the loud voice of other guest chatting until late hours. Even if they have reminders in the room about the silent time is from 10pm. I called the receptionist to complain but still they havent dont anything about it. I guess the hotel managment should consider installing aircondition since we all aware about the climate change. Its not that cold anymore in baguio considering its already November.

A 5 gallon water dispenser can be requested to our Doorman for you to refill. Or you can buy the same to groceries, and bring them with you. This is true if you are picky in buying such to a sari-sari store. We are not issuing this for free. This is true to provide our guests better preference, and avoid untoward issues later on. 7. Also, we guarantee 24/7 water availability. Other parts of Baguio dont have this kind of privileged.12. Why pets are not allowed? We love dogs. We have 2 dogs in our place but stationed outside our home and listings. In the past, we do accept guests with pets and ask them to keep their pets out of the listings. We offered and requested them to station it in our roof top. However, this didn't went well for most of our guests. There are guests who still take their pets inside our listings (so long they are not caught) creating unwanted droppings, and scattered fur on our couch, beddings, and mattresses. This opted us not to accept pets anymore.13. What are your amenities for guests to enjoy? We have a spacious roof top complete with chairs and tables. You can do your events or team building activities while viewing a 360 degree view of Camp John Hay, Philippine Military Academy, and Sto. Where is your location? We are about 1km from Camp John Hay where Ayala Technohub is. We are near entry and exit routes to various Baguio tourists spots bypassing the traffic within the business center. For direction going to our place, it would be helpful if you have waze apps, key in our address 2024 Baguio Apartments, P5 Lower Dagsian Rd. Baguio City, via Loakan Upper Dagsian route. For direction if no waze apps, from Baguio town proper, take the route proceeding to Camp John Hay gate 1, where Ayala Techno Hub is, and about 200 to 300m from there, turn right, then at same distance turn left at exactly near or in front Pablo sari sari store, (you are on the right direction if you are able to pass J P Laurel Elementary School), straight ahead, then turn left at Dagsian PUJ terminal then straight ahead. Upon reaching dead end of the road turn left. You reach your destination if you see a white house with pine tree inside the parking area, marked with 2024.15. Is the listing senior or pwd friendly? The listing is not senior or pwd friendly mainly because of the stairs to climb. However, we hosted a group of seniors who were able to enjoy staying in our place. And even suggested to put railings on stairs and shower heaters which we did. Also, a family with seniors or pwd in wheelchair. We did carry the pwd up and down the stairs, which is perfectly fine. So in short, its how guests perceived it. Baguio is a hilly place with ups and downs. Expect all listings in Baguio with stairs to climb. Otherwise, we strongly suggest to book to a hotel with elevators, if such is a real concern.16. Is there a mandatory quiet hours?Yes. Quiet hours start at 11pm as per barangay ordinance. However, you can still do your events and others with tolerable noise at no time limit. The location of our place is very peace and quiet. We need to respect our neighbors as they normally sleep early. And they are not use to a city life where people are awake even in wee hours.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 12:00 PM.About children:Children allowed: ages 3-17.About checkIn:Check in after 2:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

We stayed at Chalet Baguio during a recent trip and had a generally okay experience. The location is great—close to Burnham Park, Session Road, and other Baguio attractions. It’s convenient if you want to explore the city without spending too much time in transit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and responsive. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the hotel had a welcoming vibe overall. However, I was disappointed with the buffet breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the food quality didn’t meet expectations. It felt more like a quick fix rather than something to look forward to in the morning. Hopefully, the hotel can improve on this, as breakfast can really set the tone for the day. Also, parking space is limited, which can be a challenge during peak times.

The place was really nice. It was a little too far from the center, though, so access is quite difficult (had to ask a bunch of people for jeep access). I had a mini fridge, a bathtub, a tv, table, bed, etc. I didn't need to use the aircon because the place was already really cold, the fan was enough. Oh, and bring slippers! It was a good trip. I had fun trekking down the road in the fog early in the morning. It's also near Arca's Yard. The people were nice too!

Quite fair for 1700+ per night. We got shared bathroom with other tenants, though the case, it was clean and has hot water system. We got King size bed (?), 1 TV, 1 electric fan, fridge and a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. No AC but no need since Baguio has its natural cooling system. Only 1 bath towel and 1 blanket provided, we failed to asked for additional 😅. The gate closes by 10PM and during our last night, it was locked by 9PM. You may request for key if you'd come back late. Location wise, 8-9 minutes drive (taxi) from the center like SM, bus terminal etc.

The unit we got is a good size and comfortable for a family of 4. We actually just slept there, out early and back late, the 3 nights of our stay. I feel like the unit was not maintained well. The floors were not swept good. It was dusty. The bathroom lavatory leaks and the water stays on the corners of the counter. Presence of spider webs out on the terrace and presence of little cockroaches. The front screen door does not close completely. I know there was a 5 review, units are surely different from one another. We have a good view of the mountain and below.

I recently stayed at R Bed and Breakfast in Baguio City for 2 nights, booking through Trip.com, which was super easy and convenient. The prices are quite affordable, especially considering its prime location near tourist attractions and in the town proper. It's easy to find, right along the road, with ample parking space. Upon arrival, the room was impressively spacious and tidy. (What you see is what you get based on their posted pictures.) However, there was a slight sewer smell from the toilet that could be improved. Nonetheless, the overall vibe felt cozy and homelike. While the breakfast options were limited, they served delicious Filipino breakfast dishes, which suited our short stay perfectly. The staff throughout, from the restaurant to security and reception, were incredibly accommodating. They patiently attended to our requests and even helped us book a tour in the area. I highly recommend R Bed and Breakfast for family trips, given its convenience, affordability, and welcoming atmosphere.

Upon arriving in the room, I noticed that there were no towels on the bed. Even though we had already asked the staff at the front desk, they said there were towels, but we couldn’t find any. In the end, we had to use our extra clothes as towels because none were provided. The blanket looked like something from a hospital—more like a curtain, to be exact. We did receive bottled water and cookies. In the bathroom, it was confusing how to turn on the shower—there were many faucets, but none of them seemed to work. There was also a strong leak from the sink, and the floor near it was already wet. As for the breakfast, the rice was undercooked, and the serving of the main dish was small. We chose tocino since it was a silog meal.
