This is definitely the hotel with the best CP value in Chennai.
First of all, because we stayed together for a certain anniversary, the hotel said that they could help prepare and upgrade the room type, which is more than six stars
The hotel already had a good price and I was very satisfied with the superior room.
Later I found that the swimming pool was perfect, not too deep, the water was clean, and there was no odor in the changing room, which was a big plus
The breakfast options are also diverse and the food is delicious
By the way, the hotel also has a piano that can be provided for guests to play. We also played two songs. It was really a big surprise in India where pianos are hard to find.From$70

The apartment is very convenient, it may take a long time to build and the facilities are not very new. The service staff is very enthusiastic, helping to get luggage, deliver things, check in and check out quickly. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. I had a comfortable stay here in terms of service and hospitality. The staff were courteous. As far as the facility is concerned the room walls looked old and missing the appeal to qualify it as a 5 star hotel. I could clearly smell wood whenever I walk in the room and the bath area is quite small and not tidy. The food tasted decent but the options in the buffet are quite limited compared to other 5 star hotels. The booking was not pleasant as we have mention that we wanted a non-smoking rooms but at the check-in we are told that smoking rooms was assigned.
However holiday-inn team are great, even the hotel is booked at 100%, they are able to work something out and provide the non-smoking room.
Booking via Trip.com is not 100% guarantee of the room that we wanted, thus please check with hotel each time booking is made, as Trip.com DOES NOT ensure anything as they mention this kind of request we will need to talk to the hotel directly since Trip.com does not have any access to talk to the hotel.From$76

Our room didn’t have a bathtub like our friends’ did, but honestly, the shower alone was impressive. The hot water was so satisfyingly warm that you actually need a couple of minutes to cool down after stepping out. The restroom was equally impressive, with an automatic toilet seat that sanitizes itself and stays warm — a small but luxurious touch.
A nice bonus: you can request complimentary cut fruits every night, which is great for digestion, especially when traveling. Breakfast was definitely worth adding on; for the price, the quality exceeded expectations.

The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment.
The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use.
Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps..

The booking was done for Kings Bed and Breakfast for two. I was given a Queens Bed room and denied breakfast until I showed the booking confirmation from Trip. The room was an interconnected one that there was no study table and even a whisper could be heard. Someone was snoring away to glory on 17th night that we couldnt sleep properly, which prompted me for a change of room. They gave me 314 room no. which again was a queens bed. upon enquiry the hotel staff Benison told me that all their rooms are only Queens bed. I feel that Trip.com cheated me with false information. I plan to file a complaint with the consumer court seeking remedy. This is not done.From$46

Hotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! My recent stay at Taj Club House was quite disappointing. The service was slow and lacked warmth — the overall atmosphere felt more like a funeral parlour than a hotel. No one greeted or acknowledged us throughout the stay, and there was a clear absence of hospitality.
The phone in our room wasn’t working, so every small request required multiple follow-ups. The Wi-Fi connection was poor the entire time. Although I requested to speak with the duty manager, there was no meaningful response.
On a positive note, Imran Khan at the reception was polite and efficient during check-in. Breakfast was decent, but the staff seemed rushed and distracted, focusing more on tasks than on guests.

Stayed for 10 nights over the Independence Day weekend in August, and was very impressed by the hospitality and service of every staff member from the front of house to the room service, who did not hesitate to accommodate my every request.
Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more.
A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Good experience staying at E hotel. The staffs were all helpful and Attended to all our needs. Sunitha and ***i were good room keepers. The breakfast a good, though it’s vegetarian. It will be good if they start breakfast from 6.30am instead of 7.30am.

The Hotel is good but below competitors in it’s category. Hotel is very clean. Location could be better since Anna Salai is very crowded and congested road. I had a bad experience with service, especially the F&B team. The gym is okay but way under equipped vs other 5 stars hotel nearby. The Spa is super expensive and doesn’t even have steam or sauna… Breakfast and lunch / diner buffet are average, not many choices.From$97

Breakfast is rich in taste and variety. Facilities are kept clean. The face towel is soft and fluffy, but the bath towel is hard and thin and smells like the kitchen. Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.From$89

After a disastrous experience last month with another reputed hotel in Chennai, I approached my stay at the Radisson Blu with trepidation. To say that I was mistaken would be an understatement. The room is top class, the amenities provided are very good. The food options are plenty and cater to multiple taste buds. The staff are friendly, flexible and ever willing to help. The food is good for a 3 star hotel but it is not at all at the level of a 5 star hotel.
The staff was excellent - especially Sneha M. who helps guests at the lobby and offers quick and effective solutions and also another Sneha who works at the restaurant.
The music 🎶 in the restaurant is the worst I heard in any hotel in India.
It is two types of music (classical Indian and also western) which are played at the same time!
It is ridiculous and annoying and it is also too loud which is why some of the staff look miserable.
The chef was walking around the dining room exchanging pleasantries with guests but he should be on the kitchen controlling what goes on there.
The ”chai masala” had no taste of ginger and the milk was so burned that it kept steaming for a whole hour (it was undrinkable so I returned it).

The rooms are what you expect to find in a hotel that was considered luxurious in the 1990's.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning system is still the original one and it can no longer be set (it can only be switched on or off).From$58
