The apartment is very convenient, it may take a long time to build and the facilities are not very new. The service staff is very enthusiastic, helping to get luggage, deliver things, check in and check out quickly. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. I had a comfortable stay here in terms of service and hospitality. The staff were courteous. As far as the facility is concerned the room walls looked old and missing the appeal to qualify it as a 5 star hotel. I could clearly smell wood whenever I walk in the room and the bath area is quite small and not tidy. The food tasted decent but the options in the buffet are quite limited compared to other 5 star hotels. My stay at the Radisson Blu at Egmore for 3 days was absolutely a gem. From the moment we arrived on 12 June 2025, we had warm welcome from the concierge and attentive service from the reception staff.
The room given was on the first floor, which was impeccably clean, spacious, with a stunning view of the city.The bathroom was freshly cleaned and well stocked with tissue paper and toiletries .
The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.The Manager , Chef, and Waiter presents a professional and polished image that contributes to the overall dining experience. Manager Selvakumar was always seen talking to guests getting feedbacks and reassuring to our needs. Exclusively the restaurant has a big wooden cart with a young boy serving boiling coffee and tea.

I could never reach them, the line always went to reception and they had to connect me. Average wait time even for a simple pot of coffee is 30 minutes. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment.
The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use.
Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps..

The bed sheets were replaced, but there were many stains. The humidity in the room was high, so the bed sheets and pillows did not have the smooth texture and cleanliness that you often get in hotels. The pillow covers were replaced, but the pillows themselves had a lot of stains and were uncomfortable.
Overall, it seemed like the facilities were not well maintained, replaced, or cleaned. I feel like the cleanliness is not up to par.
If the relationships and systems between employees and staff are affecting it, they need to be improved immediately so that they can reach international standards.
I was satisfied with the breakfast. This is the only relief.
The hotel is far from Chennai city center and the airport, so you will need to use Uber to get there. The metro is under construction. I think that access will improve significantly once the metro opens.FromAU$65

The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner.
Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay.
Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.
Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.
Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided.

Hotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! A budget version of other Taj hotels.
The first thing that strikes you is the reception desk is high, so you're forced to stand while checking in, whereas in other 5* hotels, there are seats on either side of a desk.
Then there's no porter service, so you're meant to carry your own luggage to your room.
The room itself is serviceable, and not up to the Taj mark. One of the closet doors had a loose hinge whose pin fell off. The part of the toilet bowl under water had a permanent yellow film. The hair dryer was a compact one that only had the heat option without cold air drying.
That said, the service was quick, efficient and with a smile. The food was good, both breakfast and room service.
If you know to expect a marked down experience at a lower cost than its more famous siblings in Chennai, then it's a good bet.FromAU$95

Stayed for 10 nights over the Independence Day weekend in August, and was very impressed by the hospitality and service of every staff member from the front of house to the room service, who did not hesitate to accommodate my every request.
Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more.
A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The hotel rooms are dominated by wooden furniture and I like it very much. It's clean and hygienic. There are disposable toiletries and slippers. Front desk attitude is also good. The hotel's self-catering meals are more Indian, depending on personal preference. There is a roast chicken restaurant nearby, as well as local Indian vegetarian restaurants. The default WIFI of the hotel often goes offline. I didn't have a pleasant experience the moment I stepped in. Took a flight from Dubai and arrived around 10pm. There was an event going on and the whole place was blasted with loud music. As you can see from the photo, it was open concept and music was loud even to 8th floor ! But fortunately, once door closed, it was quiet.
Many areas were lacking but the hotel personnel were very sincere to make amends.

Overall stay was great but it was such an unpleasant experience at the time of checkin.

Rarely smiling or making eye contact.
They seem unaware of shopping areas in city or attractions in city and not helpful with queries.
Lobby is dated with old furniture. Also noisy and infested with mosquitoes. No newspapers at lobby.

I was a bit agitated entering the hotel as there were neither welcoming greetings nor any indication where the reception located. There were each person standing at two different tables ( not the obvious set-ups you’ll find in other hotels) and we assumed that could be the one and approached one of them. Apart from that, we did not encounter any other issues. Food: It was a bit disappointing since greem park is known delicious breakfast and other meals. The chatnis were not up to the usual taste abd were bitter. Nevertheless, I will surely stay at Green Park again to give another go.FromAU$138

Like this hotel, it is a very convenient location, beside Chennai silk, a short walk to McD, Grand Square mall, Adyar A2B, and shopping, foot reflexology.. And short drive to Phoneix Mall. Very new hotel so.everything very well maintained, pls continue to keep it that way. They served with welcome snacks and fruit platter, nice gesture. I like everything about this hotel except for the services, everything after also very slow. Asked for a dental kit, but it never came until housekeeping. Staff generally need to improve, especially at their only restaurant.. The fitness centre and pool are good. My only nice encounter at the hotel was Nithilan. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

This is my 2nd stay in this hotel its location is very good traffic will depends an the time you travel

The hotel breakfast starts at 7 am no way u can have break fast for 8 to 9.30am flight as u keep at least 40 mins to an hour to travel to airport

My stay in Oasis hotel from 7-10/10.Hotel , staffs very helpful, friendly and approachable. frontline, to servers, smart, clean and well dressed.
Hotel looks new and pleasing.Setup beautiful.Rms were ,clean, tidy ,neat on arrival.
Food thou vegetarian and catered outside as i heard was excellent everyday which i look forward to, coffee was super.
Only comment, housekeeping service like making up beds, rm cleaning , and topping up of water, toiletries, beverages, daily could be done on time.
