First travel is like i dont want to come back to this hotel anymore. We came to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary in Tbilisi. The bad things was, we stayed at the 2nd floor and it was really worst! Air-conditioned not working we dont feel comfy at all its too hot especially when you're going to sleep, outside view was like a view of our neighborhood house (you will not feel that you are staying at the hotel) and you will not feel safe at all because if you open the door to feel the cold and fresh air, it seems like someone will come up and I tried to open the window, it's surprise me because it's totally broken! In the Reception, they are not friendly. Not smiling. About the breakfast, its really common. Thanks to the waitress who give us smile early morning whenever we eat there! Points will be given for the housekeeper who make up our room during our stay. What we enjoy in Georgia is, the hotel is near from the groceries, restaurants, fast food, etc. And the most thing we love was spending our day at Gudauri ski Resort and some tourist spot in Georgia. Hope to come back again to this country but i dont think to this hotel again.From$37

Firstly. All the staff speak excellent English. Not what someone wrote previously. I should know as an English speaker. We were in the new building for a week. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well designed. I would have preferred a normal balcony and not a French one. The breakfast was very good with a selection for all tastes. Thanks to the excellent staff: Luca the reception manager, Davit security, Anna reservations and a very nice reception lady whose name I can't remember. We stayed an extra half a day which Luca helped us with. We were in the old building ( with a payment) and it was fine. From$119

Pros: very clean, good rooms, great breakfast, very very friendly service and good location. this building is the highest in the city, so make sure to ask for a high floor this way you can get a very good view of the city. Hotel has a nice pool and gym. I didnt have chance to try the spa. Hotel has a free parking for your car. Cons: nothing bad at all . this is a very good place in Tiblisi. it might be on the ”expensive” side but again , it is one of the best places in the city. if you are on a budget trip, then you can stay in another place . I think there is a problem with the bathroom, the space between the shower and toilet is too small, I can barely fit. I am 1m90 tall. There are stains on the lamps, scratches on the doors. Very comfortable bed, lighting works very well. Toothbrushes and bathrobe were missing! Housekeeping should check rooms before guests. The swimming pool is very good, good installation! Very good breakfast. I would say that the standards of a 5 star hotel are not there, even at the level of the reception service remains very basic but nothing more, I expected better service anyway. The meal at the ATI was very good, but the waitress is very young and very kind and needs to learn more about F&B. The chef came to explain his dish to us, very professional.From$125

This hotel have some issues the rooms are five star but the service and the food are definitely lacking a price point of over 100 dollars. The breakfast buffet food temperatures incorrect. When I got home the first day after my adventures at 6 p.m. my room wasn't cleaned. I was made really annoyed. Web down tell them to clean my room and waited in the lobby to do something that's already been done. .the hotels policy they say because of covid is not to clean your room! I've been on vacation for the last 45 days and this is the only hotel in three continents that hasn't cleaned my room on a daily basis. Also they have a pool but it looked so uninviting. There's no concierge and the staff don't know answers to basic questions about airlines or where to eat . This hotel is worth $75 a night maximum not over $100 a night. The Museum Hotel is a well positioned hotel, within walking distance to many sightseeing spots. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are fine although as in any hotel, some rooms are better (bigger) than others. I was there twice within the space of ten days and my room 412 was larger than the room I had previously (the number of which I forgot), and therefore, it felt more comfortable. Breakfast was standard, certainly not outstanding. The breakfast area is a bistro in the evening and the evening meals are ample and the deserts excellent and all reasonably priced. I found the hotel itself to be pricey as compared with other hotels frequented during a 5 week tour of a number of countries.From$66

Two questions:
First, there was a girl at the front desk who was very indifferent. We booked two executive rooms because our flight was very late and we wanted to check out later in one room. After asking about my flight time and whether I was a member, she refused to check out late.

I and my husband had a very nice stay in this hotel for about 5 nights. The breakfast was amazing, and the kitchen was serviced by great staff, especially Mariam and her colleague (sorry but I forgot his name) who greeted us every morning with a warm smile 😊… However, we had a small problem with the selected room upon arrival (supposed to be our standard room with a terrace). They checked us in in a very small room with a French balcony (which is basically just a window), and it was totally unacceptable for us. When we questioned the room selected for us, they showed us another room with a small balcony and facing the construction area in the back of the hotel. They advised that the superior room with a terrace and city view is occupied and we have to pay extra amount to have one with city view and a decent balcony instead. We had no option but to pay and stay! We are not sure who is playing the game of providing the wrong information about the hotel rooms here, the hotel’s staff or Agoda?! Perhaps both. Other than that, the stay was great. We were able to locate nearby groceries and restaurants to dine in for lunch or dinner (as the hotel provided only breakfast).From$35

An excellent hotel located in the center near the Dynamo stadium and the train station. Next to the hotel there is a lot of transportation to the old city and many places in Tbilisi. In 10 minutes in Harot Square. The hotel itself is new, impressive in its design, very clean, maintained to a high standard. His rooms are comfortable, equipped, very clean and quiet. This is in contrast to many hotels in Tbilisi which are actually residential buildings that have been converted into hotels. The hotel staff is kind, cordial, professional and gives personal attention to every guest. There is no doubt that the hotel staff is the main reason for it being an excellent hotel. The price of the hotel is very cheap in relation to the great value and in relation to the prices of similar hotels nearby. Our trip to Tbilisi was a very special one as we were getting married. I can not put it into words how helpful and supportive Ameri Plaza team was from first day to the very last minute! and it's very important for me to mention everyone correctly. The manager of the hotel (Ecatherine) was very understanding and supportive as we had to accommodate our mothers and we had to manage other wedding related stuff. The receptionists ( Lado, Rati, Nika, and Misho ) were always ready to help us out with all of requirements. They went far and beyond to make sure we are having a good trip. I also wanted to thank Ika for offering and helping us to get to the roof and taking amazing pictures with the view. The restaurant manager, Guram ( Guci ) was very helpful and we were able to have a photoshoot session at the restaurant . He kindly surprised us with champagne and decorated table waiting for us. Rooms being so clean , breakfast being A class , the location of hotel being convenient to access other places were just cherry on top of the cake! The single room is small but comfortable. There is everything necessary. Everywhere cleanliness, towels change every day as they clean up. Staff is very friendly, they suggest, gave a card on the funky in Mtsasmindu. Breakfasts are abundant and delicious, thank the cook and her team! We were here for three nights starting from 24 June and I thought the premium room we had was excellent - from the space to amenities and the sleep quality we enjoyed. The breakfast spread and variety was decent. We were initially hesitant to go with the hotel given its distance from the Liberty Square, but in hindsight it was a blessing in disguise. The roads leading to the hotel are not congested, there’s ample parking space around and decent food options within walking distance.From$87

We had two days to explore Tbilisi at the end of a ski trip at Gudauri. Shota Rustavelli is next door to parliament and a short walk to the old town. In the lower floors of a beautiful apartment block, the hotel offers large elegant rooms (we were upgraded) with very comfortable beds, marble bathrooms and lovely finishes. This is NOT a 4 stars hotel, more like 3 stars! 1. The cleaning service of the hotel was very bad, there was spider web in the corner of the ceiling. The bathroom floor was never mopped during our stay. 2. We requested a calm room, we received a room on the forth floor (#419) that directly faced the fan of the ventilation system of the restaurant located in the lobby. The operation sound of the system made it impossible to open the window due to the blowing sound and the cooking smell coming up. 3. The AC is a different story in this hotel; it was very hot and we couldn't control the temperature inside of the room. It was set on 27 degrees! When we addressed this issue with the receptionist, he explained that the AC system is central and many other customers complained about the same issue, and there's nothing that he can do about it. 4. The bathroom utilities had an EXPIRED SHAVING CREAM that caused us a skin rush. 5. The first day that we arrived, the weather was very bad, it was heavily raining. Upon check-in, the receptionist (Mariam) refused to let us do the check-in before paying the full amount. We went under the rain looking for a place to exchange money. They even gave us a wrong location for an exchange office. Later on, during our stay, we discovered that the receptionist offered free umbrellas to the guests when the weather was bad, while in our case she didn't bother herself to! 6. The mattresses and the pillows were not as comfortable as it should be for a 4 stars hotel. 7. The lobby has always cooking and deep frying smell coming from the restaurant located at the ground floor. 8. The room is always dark even when you turn all the lights on, and the TV has only Georgian and Russian channels. 9. The shower head was leaking water, it was fixed later on by the staff. With every shower the bathroom floor was flooding due to the lack of a glass barrier. The towels were replaced by torn ones several times during our stay. 10. The gym is not located inside of the hotel as advertised on booking. 11. The minibar was empty, and when we checked in we found an open sugar sachet left from the pervious guests. From$62

Rude staff. From the very first day, some of the staff are strangely unwelcoming (even the people on the streets were friendlier!!) they treat you like you are a BURDEN to their day, and hesitate to help you with anything. They act like a smile and hi would cost them diamonds, so we got none. (unsure if they are islamophobes). We decided to get some breakfast early in the morning when the restaurant was empty, we ordered fries which was off the buffet. They did not tell us it would take time. We waited 30 minutes before getting up to complain, and even then they had a ”couldn't be bothered” attitude. Kept busying themselves with other guests who came after us. Later we had to shout to get the fries on the table. It finally came, with no apologies whatsoever. And was super salty. Seriously, I could whip up some fries in 10 minutes. The moment we finished it and left, the manager lady called to us and told us to pay for early check in, completely oblivious to the incident. This left such a bad taste, they only care for money. We spoke to her to which she interrupted and said she could explain why it happened (yes, 30 min is too much still for a simple salted fries, lady) Had to force her to apologize!!! Was not compensated in any way...it was truly the most pathetic behavior ever. We wonder how they even got their jobs. The guy staff was the only one in the hotel who seemed hospitable and courteous. The rest are just a bunch of nobodies with poor social skills. We avoided talking to them whenever possible. The ”no room service concept”,was also really a huge inconvenience for us. We had to request for everything from HK and they only work from 9-5 I believe. Other than the lack of room service concept (...which is honestly the worst concept ever), the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping would clean daily, and location is good, there are groceries nearby. However, we do not recommend this place if its your first time visiting the country as it will ruin your days and impression of the people here. Try something else!From$46

the hotel was good and clean , great location , but they need to have more smiley faces and hospitality .As i found lately that its not their own issue rather than the majority of Georgian Community issue , they have a lack of smile and mostly sulky i don't know why ?you can always sense the frustration in their faces and expressions ,and un friendly most of them don't understand any other language beside Georgian and Russian, especially the taxi drivers whom you cannot communicate with them even they can't read a google map ? i had several bad experiences in Georgia and will never repeat it , i don't recommend visiting Georgia if you are looking for entertainment , it was total disappointment and a waist of money . Watch it , there is lots of scams especially in the nightlife where it happened that i was looking for a restaurant to dine in and a lady came to me asking me if i'm looking for a nice restaurant , she took me to a club called crazy monkey where it turned to be a strip club which it was not in my intentions ? i went in and looked around and didn't like it at all and wanted to leave and the body guard stood by the door blocking me from going out and said that i have to pay 243 GEL almost 88 $ ?! i said for what i didn't even sit , he said that the minute you step in you have to pay a minimum charge which is the 243 GEL ? i had to pay because i didn't want to make troubles and left , also watch the taxi drivers i took once a taxi for trip less than 5 minutes and he asked for 40 GEL almost 15 $ ??? it is a total scam , then i asked the hotel about it they said that you should always negotiate the rate with the driver before your ride ???? since the taxis are not equipped with mile counters ? so be aware .
in a nutshell Great country and very nice views ,but needs a lot to improve especially in hospitality and Georgian Ministry of tourism needs to be more active and to be equipped with hotline number to report scams and claims ,i do not recommend visiting Georgia for tourism . they still need more efforts to improve .From$71

It was my first time in Georgia, I was with several friends. My expectations were high because Ramada is a global brand with a good reputation, but what I received was much more than what I expected. The hotel is located in the old town, not far from the center. The city itself is very beautiful, but the service at the hotel left the greatest impression. I lived there for 4 days and during these four days I remember one person of the reception staff, Arthur. This guy is a real diamond and a true professional in his field. The attention with which he treated us and how he was ready to help at any moment of the day or night was very pleasant as a guest and just as a human being.He booked restaurants for us, answered taxis to any questions and had pleasant conversations on other topics that interested us. Regarding the level of English in Georgia, his English is at the highest level. In addition to excellent staff, the hotel will offer excellent spa service, breakfast, underground parking, etc. In conclusion, I will say that these holidays paid off. I will definitely come back again, Ramada, I hope you will become even better, although it will be difficult because you are already super.From$49

Our stay in the Courtyard by Marriott was lovely. The bar in the lobby is a wonderful place for a pre dinner cocktail or a quick coffee before heading out. The location is good though staying near the river was where we were happiest. There are many lovely restaurants near by but avoid the 1000 nights restaurants that boasts live music and dancing but never arrives. There are a few 24 hour thai massage places in the area that should also be avoided. Stick to the massage places that aren't 24 hours! The hot tub by the hotel pool wasn't working while we were there so if this is a drawing point, double check. The sulphur baths are somewhat near by and rather affordable. From$161

Never have i ever stayed in this kind of classy and beautiful hotel. I remember the day I have entered to the lobby on my arrival to Hotel, I had a nice shock. First of all because of the interior and later on the music playing there was my favourite. I loved the Japanese cuisine they have in Lounge and the terrace with burgers, spaghetti, enchiladas and those kind of food. I booked ' Deluxe King Room' and the first night I realised that I was not sleeping on a single king size mattress as in the middle of the bed it was not flat. In the morning and for the benefit of the doubt, I removed matress cover & bedsheet and I found out that my matress was not single but two twin beds zipped together. Next morning I asked politely reception whether my booking was for deluxe king room and they confirmed that it was indeed. When I showed them a photo evidence with the twin beds the answer was ' Oh you felt it?'. When I asked whether they gave me a twin bed instead of king bed the answer was ' Oh the designer made it like this for convenience'. Obviously I did not buy what reception answered to me as an excuse and I was deeply disappointed. I felt mislead also because while I was walking in the corridor I glimpsed into the room next to mine - the door was open and cleaning lady was in. The room was much bigger than mine ( my deluxe room was 23 m2 but i doubt it) and I'm pretty sure that the bed was not two matresses zipped together. In a addition to my story I will agree with b) carpet is full of stains/dirty which is unacceptable for a new hotel c ) reception is not really welcoming for a 5 star hotel ( as advertised) d) There is no Smeg fridge as shown in the booking pictures. I was expecting much better treatment, provided I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights!!! 2 Stars for the positive attitude of breakfast room staff and for its convenient location. Next time in Tbilisi somewhere nicer and friendlier!From$66
