Front desk not upto the mark they were not welcoming and not friendly even though its our second visit, checking in even after we have already booked one more room for our family member they said ”there is no such name in their booking list” inspite the rooms were all booked in the same name a day before plus no bell boy was provided during check out.
Restaurant service during breakfast was very good and all the staff was so sweet and very friendly.
Housekeeping was very good too and helpful but there was a stain on the pillow in room no. 606.

But in this trip, hot water not working in room, continuous polishing work happening creating noise, these experiences are not good. The stay was good. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Bathrooms with hot water all the time. Food was awesome with less spices and salt which is perfect for health. Breakfast buffet has healthy options like upma and idlis. There is a restrobar where you can dine late nights. Hotel staff are friendly. We booked it at emergency. Didn't like the room according to price. Took more than ₹ but the room was small. Bathroom also small, geyser not working. Have to ask for extra towel. Tv don't have the necessary Channels. Only regional channels and some free channels. Took extra charge for asking Hot water to drink as they don't have electric kettle in room. Moreover the prices of food is so high. And no Thali system. Nearly ₹800 charged for Rice bowl of 1and half, Chicken curry, oily papad, oily mix vegetable ( huge quantity for two, no half plate system), Dal. Took extra ₹20 for water bottle which should have been provided at deluxe room. I don't recommend this hotel.From€19

Well in the complimentary dinner, we werw just asked verbally what we want to eat without handing over the menu. Also we ordered dessert which we forgot to have our ice cream. We remembered while we came back to our room. The fun fact is that neither the food serving staff called nor the hotel staff reminded. Also the morning breakfast was served from 7:30, we went to eat at 8:15 am yet the breakfast was not placed in the food stations. Only cold stuff and some breads, cakes were there. After a heavy tracking in Cherapungi and the 8th hour (summally) from Meghalai this hotel has become a real gift! A wonderful kitchen, karaoke bar, barista on the first floor; polite and professional staff. The only one, far away, of course, to Brahmaputra (even if not the traffic jams, would not have been able to get on the evening cruise). But the further way was to Kazirangu, so it is not critical. We reached gauhati from calcutta at 1.00 noon .we were alloted rooms immideatly and our luggage was sent to room . The property was excellent . Lush green . Shivji temple was there

We spent only one short night at Novotel Guwahati. The check-in was efficient. The staff were very kind. The room was comfortable but needed better ventilation in the bathroom. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR!!!!!

It's an amazing experience. The location of the hotel is very close to the fancy bazaar as well as to the railway station which is a win win situation. The behaviour of the staff is also very cordial. There's nothing to complain about cleanliness of the hotel .
