This hotel is incredibly peaceful and has a wonderful atmosphere, likely because there aren't many rooms, so it never feels crowded. It's truly perfect for a relaxing getaway. When we visited, there were quite a few Westerners, but they were all quiet and respectful. The hotel offers a good range of facilities, even if each one isn't massive. There's a swimming pool, restaurant, fitness center, a small pétanque court, a reading room, and a small meeting room. Everything is well-arranged to fit the space without feeling cramped. My favorite part was definitely the riverside area. You can just chill there for hours; the atmosphere is fantastic, with a cool breeze, lots of trees, and a shady, serene vibe 🌿. It’s perfect for sitting, reading, or simply unwinding. The overall grounds are exceptionally well-maintained, including the lawns, trees, and general cleanliness. Everything is tidy. The room was also clean. The only minor points were that the bedsheets and towels looked a bit old, and adjusting the hot water was tricky – it was either scalding hot or cold (so I ended up taking cold showers). The bed was comfortable, neither too hard nor too soft, and there were plenty of pillows to adjust for height. The staff provided excellent service. The overall vibe is incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and private. It’s a small hotel with a lot of charm, and the grounds are beautifully kept. It has a lovely, authentic Thai style, is clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious (Thai food). I absolutely loved it! 🤍 If you're looking for a quiet, chill, riverside escape, this place is perfect.

Having heard so much about this place until we decided to take our chance to ”have a feel” on it. The hotel's location is so convenient and directly outside, several night life spots, and a convenient store is within 500m circle. The hotel was guarded by security and there were several car parking lots available. The room is spacious and there is also a gym and mini library there. Breakfast was good and different food was provided on our 2 days stay. Definitely a good hotel to recommend.

I stayed here during the New Year’s holiday with friends. The location in Kanchanaburi is excellent: just a short walk to the riverside and two night markets. There also are good restaurants nearby, such as the Japanese sushi restaurant across the street. The room itself is a bit antiquated but acceptable with an extremely comfortable bed. I found the pool to be nice and surprisingly very deep, thus you can get a good swim in. The main issue I had with the hotel was the outdoor bar that’s right next to the hotel. They play extremely loud live music that can’t be drowned out no matter how loud you turn up the AC. Even though I was staying on the opposite side of the building from the band, I still could clearly hear the music that went super late into the night. Definitely reconsider booking this place if you cannot sleep through noise.

It used to be a very good hydrophilic hotel, right by the river, at a reasonable price. The first time I lived was 9 years ago, and it was very quiet at night.  But this time I checked in, the music of the merchants across the river was huge. It didn't stop at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. It came again at 6 o'clock in the morning. It was fried and I couldn't sleep at all. Reflected with the front desk, but the hotel couldn't help it.

Ideally sited to get around town… Very clean room, lovely large pool , we booked the king bed room which had an ensuite … the hostel provides dorm rooms for large groups also… wasn’t expensive… breakfast is an option which we didn’t take up as we planned with friends to meet to dine Only point that was upsetting was the people in the next room constantly banging something against the wall and talking loud and playing music, banging their door when they went out and returned …. A little respect would have been appreciated during late hours . There is a roof top with seating that states closes at 2200 hrs I think yet people were on the roof till early hours moving chairs about which made a noise in our room below . Overall besides rude customers the building was beautiful and definitely re book 👍

The hotel is located on the city's main street, close to massage shops, food stalls, bars, and restaurants. It's also on a quiet side street, so the room is quiet. The Bridge Kwai is a couple of kilometers away. Bicycles are available for rent on the main street for 80 baht per day. There are private cabanas around the pool and cabanas facing the restaurant. There's also a separate three-story building. We stayed on the third floor, which was ideal because the hotel bar and pool were a bit noisy in the evenings. Three rooms on this floor have a private veranda, and each room has chairs and a table outside the door, so you can sit and watch the sunset. Towels and two bottles of water are left on the table daily. The room is spacious, with a large, comfortable bed. Our door lock (a standard one for between rooms) didn't work, but they gave us a padlock, which was even better. There's air conditioning, but no kettle (we bring our own). The bathroom has a wall-mounted shower, a sink with a mirror, and a toilet. Large bottles of soap and shampoo are provided. Breakfast vouchers are provided upon check-in, and it's served from 7 a.m. onwards. Breakfast offers a choice of dishes from the menu, including an omelet, traditional rice and meatball soup, toast with fried eggs, muesli with fruit, and other options, plus juice/coffee/tea and sliced ​​fruit.

I came back late from a concert and wanted to boil some instant noodles, but couldn't find the kettle! The reception was asleep too. Too bad. You have to call to request a hairdryer.

If you value peace and quiet, you will absolutely love it here; there was no noise pollution at all, just pure, uninterrupted tranquility. The cleanliness of the place deserves a special mention. I am usually very picky about hygiene, but this accommodation was absolutely spotless. Every single corner of our room was pristine. The linens were fresh, the bathroom was sparkling clean, and everything was meticulously organized. You can really tell that the management puts a lot of effort and heart into maintaining the property to the highest standards. Honestly, it was such a romantic and magical experience for us. My partner and I had the most wonderful, cozy time. We spent our mornings drinking coffee while soaking in the breathtaking natural views, and our evenings just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was incredibly ”fin” (ฟินมาก)—just pure bliss and romance from start to finish. The service was also top-notch. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making our stay even more memorable. We cannot recommend this place highly enough for couples. Worth a visit and stay overnight here, the cat is cute, the view of the lake also is fantastic. Also there are some tips that you'd better check in before the night time, otherwise the dog of the owner may scared you at night 🤣 But the owner will come out if the dog barking. And just like most of the other hotel, you need to bring your own toothbrush, shampoo and hairdryer. In front of the guesthouse is a ww2 factory, they say will be a museum in the future, and some historical old wall hundred years ago which was used to agonist Mymmar invader

Sigh😮💨It’s really troublesome when encountering language barriers when going abroad. The counter staff was very patient in communicating at first, but then they didn’t seem to want to explain to us. They didn’t say that the minibar in their house was available. I asked the next day and was informed that there was no need to pay😓. The room is really beautiful. Everything else is just fine. Got room 305, it was beautiful. When I opened the curtains, the view was absolutely stunning, just like in the pictures. The room was large and clean, and the bathroom was great. The pool is open until midnight. The staff provided excellent service, from the person who helped with my luggage at the car to the reception staff. The day before I left, I didn't come down for breakfast, and a staff member even called to wake me up 🤣 but I didn't hear it, so they packed it in a box for me. Everything was really good, and I'll definitely go back if I get the chance! (But there's no elevator). Overall, it was great.

Close to the Bridge over the River Kwai, within walking distance. There's a 7-Eleven nearby. It's a bit far from the train station, so you'll need to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk. There are also riverside restaurants with nice views near the hotel.

Our first time in Kanchanaburi. We booked online on the same day and had no issues or waiting time during check-in. The staff were polite and welcoming. Everything was clean, they have a swimming pool, and they also have a café where guests receive a 10% discount. Buffet breakfast was included, and the food was good. The restaurant staff may have been tired, as they did not smile. It would be even better if they could smile. The cleaning staff were always greeting us and smiling whenever we met them in the hallway or elevator, which we really appreciated. It would also be great if the room could have two pillows per person for added comfort. Excellent value for money.

Fabulous resort. Could have spent a few more days here as the gardens are lovely and the pools are great. Staff really helpful and the hotel is well presented, clean and well managed. The walk to the River Kwai bridge is about 10 minutes where there are lots of restaurants, cafes, market and shops. Highly recommend

Stayed here for Valentine's Day! 🏨 It's a fantastic, very clean hotel, and super close to the city center 👍. The breakfast was mainly Thai food with some simple toast, but it was delicious.
