The hotel is very well located. There are big waves everywhere, and the hotel has a reef and you can swim even with small children. The hotel itself is tired. There are plenty of ants, there are cockroaches. Breakfasts are not particularly tasty and varied. But you will definitely not go hungry. In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)

Hikkaduwa Saffron Hotel was the first hotel on our trip, so I took a lot of thoughts when choosing it. Those who like antique hotels, please come, the cabinet bed, Luohan bed desk, meet all your requirements for retro quality, full of ancient flavor. However, modern washing and air-conditioning facilities will not make you feel that life is inconvenient, and we chose the second floor room, which is super large and has a good view. When we wanted to change to a double bed, we added a single bed for free without saying anything, so we had a good rest. The service of the hotel is very good, we go snorkeling after checking out, and we can go back to the hotel to take a shower. The disadvantage is that the price is small and expensive.

Stayed at Coral Sands Hotel for 10 nights in July 2024. Excellent location, next to the hotel there is everything you need: beach, cafes, souvenir shops. The staff was responsive and promptly resolved any issue I had. The buffet and restaurant are excellent! The food is very tasty and varied. The room is comfortable with working air conditioning, the sea view is stunning. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and recommend it to everyone!

Staying at this hotel was suuuch a lovely experience. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a fresh fruit drink to have whilst you check in. I arrived early and the hotel was able to check me in. The room was beautiful and spacious with the amazing ambient sound of the ocean. It was nice and quiet and had everything one could need. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The room was spacious and bright. They have a gym as well as a spa. They also helped me hail a tuk tuk when I needed to go run some errands. It really was a lovely experience. Will definitely come back.

Big hotel, lots of rooms. Take with ocean view, there will be a balcony and table. Bed soft, safe in availability, room comfortable. With your small pool, sleeves and of course an outlet to the ocean. Furniture is not new, but all intact and alive. Take without food. In the hotel its restaurant. Dining and lunch, photo attached. All delicious, average check for 2 of 7000rs. Staff is kind, everything can be agreed. Of the downsides: wave noise can prevent sleep, though good noise isolation. The price is expensive. This place I recommend.

The place is just okay most of the staff were friendly however there were few really pushy and makes me uncomfortable. You just got to tell them NO on a serious note for them to stop bothering you, apart from that everything was okay, the toilet have no ventilation so the smell spread through the room, unless you open the doors the smell won’t go. But for the price I pay, it wasn’t worth it

Хорошее расположение, вокруг много всего. По пятницам проходят вечеринки до 4-5 утра. Номер выбрала на 2 этаже, так как там есть холодильник и балкончик, да и на 1 этаже номера выглядят похуже. В общем конечно все номера уставшие и без претензий, но я так думаю это на Шри-Ланке повсеместно. Приветливый персонал, готовый всегда прийти на помощь. Имеется чайник и минимальный набор средств гигиены. Убирают только по просьбе и когда оставляешь ключи на ресепшене, за небольшие чаевые - делают это очень хорошо. Бассейном можно пользоваться до 11 вечера. Воровства не было отмечено.

Basically the best hotel we have stayed in in Sri Lanka, we will cater to almost all the requirements of our guests, the service is quite professional, and we can taste fresh seafood. The swimming pool is heated for 24 hours. It is the sea and the beach is very good. It is much better than the beach in Unawatuna. It is not recommended to swim. The whole is very quiet, it seems that there are only four households, hidden and quiet, butler service, not too much disturbance, but there will be demand at any time. The house is also very clean and tidy. The meal is very particular. In short, the service is in place. The next time you come to Sri Lanka, you may only come to this hotel for a holiday. Location is near (7 minutes walk) with the railway station and the bus station. To the turtle beach go 20 minutes, to the usual 10. For a smooth settlement, I recommend taking a voucher about booking in English. Staff is pleasant. The gate guards a special person. The resort consists of several buildings, I lived in The Pearl of Arcadia. The room is sufficient. There is no TV in the room. There is also a fan on the ceiling, and air conditioning. In my bathroom there were two showers - one cold, the other with a controlled water temperature. You need to be careful with a glass shelf on the wall in the bathroom, opposite the shower. If you are ignorant or blind, you can hit her head. Cleaning in the room on request (the staff themselves were interested in whether cleaning was needed). Besides a piece of soap, there is nothing in the bathroom (shampoo, etc.), including toilet paper (issued on request). The hotel manager tried to solve problems, for example, including the wi-fi switch off during the storm (in November almost every day for several hours of rain). On the floor there is a type of kitchen with a table, microwave, toaster and teapot, refrigerator. The area of the hotel is all in trees, pleasant. The price is indicated for the cooking of your purchase, not for the products themselves. If you don't get mad at the small things, the resort is a very good place to live.

This is the best place we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. The villa only has two guest rooms so it is so quiet and you are sharing the beautiful pool with only 2 other people at the most. The room is perfect, so luxurious, with views out over the lagoon. The food at the restaurant is divine. The villa is a lovely and leisurely hour walk up the beach or quick cheap tuk tuk ride to the main drag of Hikkaduwa. Highly recommend!!!! We will be back.

A completely unexpected small villa with two big bed bedrooms. The landlord said that there is a small bedroom that can be sorted out but we don't need it. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and a large swimming pool at the door (that is, the water is not very clean and can swim), and the photos are beautiful. There are also BBQ and spa rooms that we are useless. The overall exceeded expectations. Although there were some episodes when I checked in, it did not affect the sense of use of this villa. Всем привет 🫂 отдыхали семьей в отеле с 5-9 декабря. Отель прекрасный. Очень очень хороший персонал. Заботливые и пытаются помочь. Очень порадовало , что нас заселили в 6 утра без всяких доплат и тд. Номер был свободен , и нам его дали. Завтраки хорошие: фреш, тосты и омлет. Море рядом. Мимо гоняют поезда, но нас это не очень смущало. Единственное , что немного подпортило отдых , это местная молодежь , которая приехала на выходные отдыхать , очень громкие ребята и ночами любят потусить. Но как только они уехали , все ок, стало тихо и чудесно. Так что это скорее не минус отелю , а просто такое вот совпадение. Могу рекомендовать отдых в данном отеле. Тоже прочитали отзывы и не зря 100%

Checked into the hotel earlier (at 12) without any problems. Luggage was brought to the room and 2 smoothie glasses were brought. The view from the room is gorgeous, right on the ocean. There is a swimming pool under the window, which is cleaned every day. The beach is long, but the ocean is very rough, almost no one swims, but this is just right for me. To the right of the hotel, a couple of kilometers away, is the turtle beach, it is calm there and you can always see a family of turtles. Go, you will not regret it. In the morning we were lucky and the hotel staff let us release small turtles, very cute and emotional. Breakfast with a view of the ocean and the dinner at the hotel were delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel.

A wonderful place with a very pleasant and kind host. Advantages: quietly, to the beach 15 minutes quiet step, no trains, music from bars, no drunk parties, pavilions fly in the guests, burunduks run on trees, birds sing. In the room is hot water, refrigerator, teapot, dishes. You can cook when you want in a common kitchen. I had breakfast included: omlet with tomatoes, coffee/tea, fruit, toasts with butter and jim, sometimes the owner added local dishes. The host is very kind: when I got sick, he took care of me. And he also gave recommendations for further traveling around the country. Plus said it was worth, and it was not worth buying here, but better in another city. I liked him very much. The guy is cleaned, he is constantly except for the night on the territory. Always ready to come for help. The territory is beautiful, decorated. I recommend from the soul. I wish I could attach the video. I'll try Google . Yes, I went for a couple of nights, as a result remained significantly longer.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff member was extremely kind—he welcomed me with a cold drink upon arrival and was very helpful throughout my stay. He sent me a list of great places to eat, have coffee, and activities to do around town, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, very clean, and located in a calm, quiet area. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals, and a washing machine available if you need to do laundry. I felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful guest house, spent three weeks in Sri Lanka and constantly chose hotels with a breakfast included and decided to give priority to location and good reviews and did not regret This guest house has its beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans of pans pot bowls of blades for cooking. We went to the market and to the shop and bought food to cook delicious breakfast and snacks Rooms look very clean and new air conditioning works well eating their area on the balcony to drink tea and relax Good location, near the beach with the most beautiful underwater world as well as cheap supermarket and fruit fish market Recommended

Staying at this hotel was suuuch a lovely experience. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a fresh fruit drink to have whilst you check in. I arrived early and the hotel was able to check me in. The room was beautiful and spacious with the amazing ambient sound of the ocean. It was nice and quiet and had everything one could need. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The room was spacious and bright. They have a gym as well as a spa. They also helped me hail a tuk tuk when I needed to go run some errands. It really was a lovely experience. Will definitely come back.

The place is just okay most of the staff were friendly however there were few really pushy and makes me uncomfortable. You just got to tell them NO on a serious note for them to stop bothering you, apart from that everything was okay, the toilet have no ventilation so the smell spread through the room, unless you open the doors the smell won’t go. But for the price I pay, it wasn’t worth it

This is a fantastic resort-style hotel. If you love nature, I highly recommend it! You can snorkel right off the beach and see small sharks, sea turtles, and plenty of fish. I was very satisfied with everything, especially the stunning sunsets from our room's balcony. The dining options are all international. There are about four restaurants: a buffet, a poolside bar, an Italian restaurant, and another bar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and delicious variety of international dishes. The cleanliness is excellent, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff even remembered our names! After staying for three nights, they still recognized us at check-out. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

Location is near (7 minutes walk) with the railway station and the bus station. To the turtle beach go 20 minutes, to the usual 10. For a smooth settlement, I recommend taking a voucher about booking in English. Staff is pleasant. The gate guards a special person. The resort consists of several buildings, I lived in The Pearl of Arcadia. The room is sufficient. There is no TV in the room. There is also a fan on the ceiling, and air conditioning. In my bathroom there were two showers - one cold, the other with a controlled water temperature. You need to be careful with a glass shelf on the wall in the bathroom, opposite the shower. If you are ignorant or blind, you can hit her head. Cleaning in the room on request (the staff themselves were interested in whether cleaning was needed). Besides a piece of soap, there is nothing in the bathroom (shampoo, etc.), including toilet paper (issued on request). The hotel manager tried to solve problems, for example, including the wi-fi switch off during the storm (in November almost every day for several hours of rain). On the floor there is a type of kitchen with a table, microwave, toaster and teapot, refrigerator. The area of the hotel is all in trees, pleasant. The price is indicated for the cooking of your purchase, not for the products themselves. If you don't get mad at the small things, the resort is a very good place to live.

The hotel is very well located. There are big waves everywhere, and the hotel has a reef and you can swim even with small children. The hotel itself is tired. There are plenty of ants, there are cockroaches. Breakfasts are not particularly tasty and varied. But you will definitely not go hungry. Nearby there are fish and fruit markets, banks, opposite they make very tasty juices. But the main thing is that the view from the hotel is just the bomb. Premier room.
