Went there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

Beach only 2 minutes away from hotel. Restaurants and ABC stores all nearby. Safe places to walk even at night. Front desk customer service are super helpful and friendly. Cleaning stuffs always have a welcome smile and did a great job cleaning the room. Only thing that I dislike is the Resort fees charge. They should at least include a free breakfast daily.

The Pacific Marina Inn Airport is only suited for travelers needing a practical, budget-friendly option near HNL, especially for overnight or layover stays. It's not luxurious, but it delivers on convenience, friendly service, and basic comforts. However, if you're seeking a longer stay, a more polished experience, or better access to attractions like Waikiki, you may want to explore options elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level. I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure. A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised. Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I have no complaints at all - this might be the perfect resort at this price point. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are excellent (albeit maybe a bit on the small side for three persons, and we did miss not having a barhtub), the view excellent (description said “ocean view” and it was better than expected, even from the Pacific Tower), restaurants both great. The location is perfect, just a few min walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center; and the hotel has its own /small/ beach with really a good view of the sunset. Big shoutout to the very friendly staff at Monkeypod Kitchen as well as the poolside Towel Hut! Would revisit without a doubt!

The location of the hotel is really close to waikiki beach 10 min walk , grab your coffee on the way and go to the beach , the hotel staffs are amazing, very helpful, supportive, friendly, every single one of them , this is really important as a solo traveller I had so many questions and inquiries and they helped me to solve everything in an instance. They even have weights to weigh my luggage before the flight. The room had a stunning balcony, everything so clean, no smell no mold, everything was working , the AC , the mini fridge, they even gave me a kettle because i said I loved having coffee in the morning. They have tours as well , activities like hula dancing , Lei making, there is an ABC store for your water , fruits , snacks , sunscreen . Very convenient . I Highly recommend this hotel.

There was no bottled water in the room, but I asked a staff member in the hallway for one. Water refills were available on the first and third floors (where the lobby and pool are), and ice was conveniently available on each floor. I booked the breakfast option, which included choosing one of three daily menu items. Fruit, bread, and drinks were served buffet-style, but I felt like the selection could have been a bit larger. I stayed for two nights, Friday through Sunday, and on the first Saturday morning, I arrived after opening time, so I ended up waiting in line and sharing a table. On Sunday morning, I arrived before opening time, but they were already open. I think they probably opened early on Saturdays as well. So I recommend going early. There are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel, so I'm glad I didn't book breakfast included. The building was apparently renovated about three years ago, but it's old, and the door would have closed unless I pushed it from the inside. lol. But thanks to that, it was relatively affordable for Waikiki, so I was able to book an ocean view room! Although it is located on the outskirts of Waikiki, there is a Pink Line bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, and there is a breakwater right across the road to the beach, so you can swim in the shallow water safely. I recommend it as a beach location.

Except that the price is a bit expensive, everything else is satisfactory! Since it is a timeshare vacation club hotel, the suites basically come with a kitchen and all Western cooking utensils, everything you need! There is also a washing machine and dryer. The seaside environment is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the scenery is everywhere. The hotel faces its own lagoon (lagoon), which is very comfortable for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling (the sea water is a bit cold now, so you need a little courage when you first go into the sea! It will be fine in a while!). The three outdoor swimming pools are suitable for children to the elderly to play and swim, and are equipped with hot water massage pools and saunas (dry steam, wet steam). In short, this hotel is very suitable for couples, couples, second and third generations to travel together! In addition, there is a difference between sea view rooms and mountain view rooms, but they can also be balanced by spending more time outdoors. It is recommended that friends who have been to Waikiki Beach in Honolulu give this place a try, you will definitely have a different feeling!

The location is great! I chose an oceanfront room and enjoyed meals overlooking Waikiki Beach, the sunset, and the sound of the moon and waves at night. I rented beach towels at the front desk and was able to quickly head to Waikiki Beach. There are many ABC stores and restaurants nearby, so you can do a lot of shopping within walking distance. The room is small. The shower is quite small and the shower head is fixed at the top, so it's quite difficult to wash your whole body.

Fabulous boutique hotel. Thought of all the little things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were very polite and friendly. Great shower pressure, bed was comfortable and air con fantastic. We had a room on the 3rd floor and unfortunately we could smell one of the burger restaurants frying food each morning, which was not pleasant. Not the hotels fault, but it’s something to bear in mind if you’re given a lower floor. Rooftop pool is small but a nice extra if you don’t fancy the beach. Close to everything; restaurants, shops, beach. Would definitely stay again!

The view here is absolutely stunning; it's the main reason to go! The Diamond Head and ocean views are incredible, something you wouldn't typically find at a 4-star hotel. However, what was disappointing was that housekeeping only came every two days, and while they replaced the towels, it seemed they didn't change the bed sheets. I noticed a stain on the duvet before leaving, and when I returned after housekeeping, the duvet looked tidy, but the stain was still in the exact same spot. Parking cost about $290 for 5 days, and since it's valet, you also have to tip when you get your car, which can be an extra burden. If that's an issue for you, I'd recommend looking for free parking nearby. I just opted for valet because I didn't want the hassle. Waikiki is less than a 10-minute walk away, and most of the staff were very friendly.

The hotel has over the last couple of years been refurbished by new owners. The pool area is now better maintained and has dedicated staff who are present at all times. The pool is large snd nicely situated. The point of difference is the shade provided by numerous umbrellas and some shade trees. There is also bar and food service to your deckchair. The rooms are midsized suitable for two people and have a good sized lanai. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom is compact with shower over bath. Room lighting is dimmable and kettle available upon request. A safe is provided. A criticism would be the small fridge, 6 cans, a milk and a couple of yoghurts is about it. This is the best budget end hotel in Waikiki but budget still unfortunately isn't cheap these days. Overall an enjoyable stay with pool crew being the icing on the cake.

This was a wonderful hotel! I think it offers great value for money. First off, the room was a two-room suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The two double beds were spacious and comfortable. The mini-kitchen had a sink, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom had a standard American-style shower and a shallow bathtub. Toothbrushes were not provided. The breakfast menu didn't change much day-to-day, but the custom-made omelets were delicious. It can get a bit crowded around 9 AM on weekends, but it's manageable. During happy hour in the evening, guests received two complimentary alcoholic drinks per person per day. Two of the cocktails could also be made non-alcoholic. In addition, there was a free drink bar and snacks (crackers and vegetables like cucumbers and celery), which were perfect for a light bite. We were also allowed to bring our own food, so we often enjoyed takeout from nearby while sipping our happy hour drinks. The happy hour and breakfast venue is the same, located poolside. This would be great for families with children, as they can enjoy the pool while taking advantage of happy hour. They also provide beach towels by the poolside for guests heading to the beach or pool. Incidentally, we arrived at the hotel before noon this time, having taken an ANA flight. We were able to check in early without an early check-in fee! (Perhaps because it was off-peak season?) This was incredibly helpful as we were sleep-deprived. Waikiki Beach is about a 5-minute walk through the Sheraton. It felt a bit confusing to find at first, but once we got used to it, it was no problem. The nearest W LINE bus stop is just over a 5-minute walk away. It's a minor detail but wasn't an issue. Right in front of the hotel is an ABC STORE DELI, which operates from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM and also serves fast food, making it very convenient. Although our room wasn't ocean view, we could see the ocean from the outdoor stairwells on each floor, which was lovely. Ultimately, since we spent most of our time in the hotel either sleeping or at night, I don't think an ocean view was essential, haha. The balcony was nice for getting some fresh air. There's a water dispenser on the first floor, which is convenient for refilling water anytime. Each floor also has an ice dispenser and vending machines. If I had to pick a con, it would be that the elevators sometimes took a while to arrive. I highly recommend this hotel for families due to the spacious rooms! The value for money was excellent, so I encourage you to stay here.

My stay didn't live up to expectations. When I went for breakfast in the morning, I was told it wasn't included, even though I'd specifically confirmed it was when booking. That immediately soured my mood. Thankfully, I contacted the platform's customer service, and they resolved it quickly and offered compensation. The hotel's incredible sea view made up for the shortcomings. Hygiene: Excellent. The entire place was very clean and tidy, with no trash or dust, and no unpleasant smells – everywhere smelled fresh. The gym was also clean. The only minor issue was the pool, which could get a bit noisy and messy due to the crowd. Ambiance: Fantastic. The rooms themselves were impeccable, all over 50 square meters, with mostly identical layouts, just differing in their specific location. They had everything you could ask for: a bathtub, shower, two sinks, two wardrobes, a dressing table, and a balcony with a view. A special mention for the bathtub – it filled up incredibly fast, less than five minutes, which is the quickest I've ever seen. The decor was very sophisticated, with high-quality materials that gave it a timeless feel, yet it was maintained beautifully, which was very impressive. Service: Excellent. The doormen were highly efficient at opening car doors and handling luggage. The check-in experience at the front desk was great; the staff's attitude was impeccable, they were very professional, didn't strictly adhere to every rule, and were very generous and welcoming. If a room was available, they arranged immediate check-in. Any requests were handled with high efficiency; for example, beach chairs were brought and set up quickly, and anything needed was brought to the room promptly. They even helped close the curtains, making us feel truly at home. Facilities: Outstanding. The decor is very distinctive and rich in character. It has all the amenities expected of a five-star hotel. As one of Hawaii's top three luxury hotel resorts, it boasts a quiet private beach and a golf course, plus its own dolphin lagoon where you can experience close interaction with dolphins. There are four restaurants, a well-equipped gym with fruit and lemon-coconut water, and well-appointed restrooms. There are also many century-old decorations and various shops, all selling co-branded hotel merchandise, which is quite rare and unique. Overall, this hotel is absolutely worth a special trip. All aspects were flawless. What truly stands out is its century-old heritage and expansive space, yet it shows no signs of age and is meticulously maintained. I personally love this feeling of historical charm. Highly recommended.

First of all, I want to praise Ctrip's customer service. On the day of check-in, the hotel said that the order had not been received. I contacted Ctrip's customer service and it was resolved within 30 minutes. It should have been early morning in China at that time. I really appreciate the speed of the customer service. The hotel is relatively new, and the sea view room I booked has a nice view. Then the front desk is still very friendly, and any problems can be solved quickly. The flight arrived in the morning local time, but I was checked in immediately, and they took the initiative to help me accumulate Marriott points. The biggest problem is housekeeping. On the day of check-in, I felt that the sheets were not new, and I could see a little shoe print and hair at the end of the bed. But I was too tired that day and didn't care. The next day when I was going to take a bath, I found that the wall of the bathtub was covered with mud, and it was obvious that it had not been wiped. When the cleaning lady came in, I asked to change the sheets and wipe the bathtub. The old lady told me that I had to apply to the front desk to change the sheets. So when I went out, I told the front desk about the sheets and bathtub again, but the front desk's response was obviously that the cleaners should change the sheets automatically. . . Then when I came back at night, I found that the sheets had been changed, but the bathtub was still not cleaned!!! Maybe because I wiped it a little the night before, the cleaner thought it was clean. But when I returned to the room, I found that the bathtub was still full of my hair that I had lost that morning. I left a $5 tip. But to be honest, the room you gave me was not clean, so why should I get more tips? Other minor issues were that the shower water pressure was not good. And maybe because of environmental protection, there was no mineral water in the room, and there were no other supplies except two cotton pads. But you can call the front desk to ask for bathrobes and slippers for free. The hotel has been open for less than a year, and the maintenance feels average. At best, it is a business hotel. If you are on vacation, apart from the problem of traffic jams, it is recommended to stay in Waikiki.

The room is old, but well maintained. If you are a fan of White Lotus, you will feel it as soon as you arrive at the hotel. Pros: The room is well maintained, the green facilities downstairs are good, and the overall living experience is good; Cons: There is no private beach, the privacy is average, and the beach is shared with several hotels; the staff are not very enthusiastic;

The Rainbow Tower is quite new and the rooms are decent, but the elevators are incredibly slow. With over 1000 rooms sharing just 5 elevators, you're looking at nearly a ten-minute wait every time. I'd advise against booking an ocean view room because you won't really see much ocean; it's mostly lagoon. For a true ocean view, you'd need to book an 'oceanfront view,' and even then, it depends on the front desk's mood – they might give you a low floor where you still can't see anything. My room was on a very low floor with virtually no view, plus there was construction going on downstairs, which was very noisy. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way for Waikiki; it's over a 15-minute walk to the main area. However, it's only a 15-minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Also, if beach quality is important to you, don't stay here. The beach is full of coral fragments, which hurt your feet, and the water is murky. The towel counter closes at 6 PM, so there's nowhere to return towels after that. Additionally, they don't offer complimentary beach chairs or bodyboards, unlike Marriott where they're free. Overall, it's not really worth the price.

We stayed at the one of the Historic Banyan King Room with City View for 4 nights, room was conveniently located in the main building, doesn’t come with a balcony, but has 2 windows. It gets noisy sometimes at night even though we stayed on the 4th floor. The resort also offers a list of cultural and wellness activities for booking, this is where the resort fee goes to, so make sure you book some of these activities if time permits. Overall we liked the hotel as it’s at the center of Waikiki and has direct access to the beach, several great restaurants and you can also pre-order Honolulu Coffee for pick-up at the hotel location.

The hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel.

I specially booked this hotel to watch the fireworks on Friday. The location is really a plus, and it is very close to the fireworks beach. The sea view room has a good view. Outside the window is the yacht dock, and there is the sea in the distance. The night atmosphere is full. Next to it is the Hilton Resort. The surrounding environment is very comfortable. There is also the largest outlet nearby, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. I am very satisfied with the overall experience.

I chose this place for my solo trip because hotels were too expensive. The location is absolutely fantastic, right on a main street, so I felt perfectly safe walking alone at night. Even though it's a capsule hotel, they provide towels, thin slippers, and a toothbrush. The sheets were clean, and it felt private enough that I could actually sleep. Since there are Japanese staff, communication in Japanese was easy. Everyone staying there was traveling solo, so it was very quiet. I even wondered if it was the quietest place in all of Hawaii (lol). The shared lounge/living area was also quiet, and you could get free tea and water. My capsule was next to the women-only door, so I frequently heard the door opening and closing in the middle of the night and early morning, which was a bit bothersome. My only real complaint would be the shared showers. I stayed for two nights, and on the second day, someone hadn't rinsed out their hair after using the shower, and the sinks were also full of hair. I guess that's to be expected for this price point. Other than that, everything else was good. I think it's a great place if you can tolerate the showers.

Booking in at reception was a friendly and very easy experience. The room was good but had more of a close up view of bushes than a City View. The food I had was good, however the bar was often very busy with just one person making the food and serving drinks. I tried to get served a few times but had to leave and returned a bit later for service. The location was very good for bus services and convenient for walking to local Waikiki beaches and along Kalakaua Ave.

I stayed alone in a female-only dorm with a kitchen at the hostel. About the hostel: 1. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach. 2. The W-Line bus ($2.50) goes from the airport directly to the hostel stop (it's a 3-minute walk from there). There are ticket machines for bus passes at the airport. 3. There's a communal kitchen (open from 6:00 AM - 10 PM). 4. You can get beach equipment (like surfboards) for a deposit. 5. There are plenty of food stores and cafes nearby. 6. They offer excursions. 7. There's a locker in the room, but you'll need your own lock. There's a lot of traffic on the island's roads.

This hotel has a very Hawaiian vibe. Full ocean views are only available from the suites, so don't be fooled by the promotional photos. The standard ocean view is from a side balcony, which is still lovely and offers great value for money. You can enjoy beautiful Hawaiian music. I even caught up on some sleep on the lobby sofa while waiting to check in – it was so comfortable. There's a Starbucks downstairs, and you can access the mall directly from the second floor, which has a Foodland. It's super convenient for grabbing poke or delicious and affordable self-serve dishes!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. What was really frustrating is that I booked through an agent, and the amount I was told to pay at check-in was significantly less than what the hotel actually charged. When I contacted Trip.com, they said the agent told them the final payment should be based on what the hotel charges, and that I should negotiate with the hotel directly. I absolutely cannot accept this kind of buck-passing, or even fraudulent, behavior from an agent. Trip.com eventually compensated me for my loss, so they were quite proactive in resolving the issue. I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking through agents; they need to be held accountable for their actions!
