I was very satisfied with my stay, though it's a pity it was only for one night. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I will definitely choose this hotel again. The service was excellent, and the room was arguably the largest I've stayed in during my visits to Barcelona. It's located on Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!FromBRL 2,373

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. Highly, highly recommend this hotel if you're planning on shopping! The price is unbeatable for the value. It's about a ten-minute walk to Casa Milà, making shopping super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and they even give you two free instant noodles (which were delicious!). Every night, they also provide free chocolates – such thoughtful service. The hotel is in a great area close to the city centre and shopping Square and also close to the Metro and bus lines. The staff are very nice and amenities are good. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe in this hotel especially because it’s a LGBTQ+ but hetero friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable just be aware that the shower is see-through so if you’re sharing you will likely see the person taking a shower. The pool was also very nice for chilling in after a very long day of exploring. Just be careful of removing anything in the minibar. I removed some of the things and placed them on the table because I wanted to use the fridge to put my food and drinks that I bought myself . I unfortunately almost got charged for the things that I removed from the mini bar fridge even though I hadn’t consumed them. I did however explain to the receptionist that I returned all the drinks in the mini bar as I hadn’t consumed them.Overall I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again.FromBRL 905

The hotel's location is a bit far from most attractions, but it's close to Camp Nou and next to a bustling commercial area, which felt very safe for us. It's right next to El Corte Inglés department store, with several local supermarkets, Asian grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. The metro station is also very close, making it super convenient. The room felt a bit dated, but the facilities were decent. There wasn't a main light in the room, so it was a bit dim. The kitchen was excellent and well-equipped for cooking. My travel plans kept changing, so I booked day-by-day to avoid having my entire trip cancelled. I booked a standard room the day before, but due to a booking error, I ended up with a 'Seventy Room' today and needed to switch. In the morning, I specifically requested a twin room at check-in, and the front desk agreed. When I returned in the evening, I found it was still a single king-size bed room. I talked to the front desk, and they informed me that all rooms were booked, and they couldn't switch me to a twin. Actually, a king-size bed is just two smaller beds pushed together, so all they needed to do was change the bedding to accommodate us. However, the hotel's handling of the situation was very rigid, so I'm deducting points for service. There's no real difference between the 'Seventy Room' and the standard room, so it's not worth paying extra for it.FromBRL 1,608

Lowlights: 1) Lost money in the hotel. We left some local currency which was taken when we had the room cleaned. 2) We paid for the breakfast option in cash, forgot to get a receipt, the following day the guys at the front desk said there were no records of the payment nor the additional breakfast. They eventually conceded but you can’t help but think the guys we initially paid cash to pocketed the money.SOLD OUT

The hotel location was great, near the metro and v walkable to the shopping district.
Room was big and spacious (think we got the room for the wheel-bounded by chance). However, its cleanliness can be worked on as we found strays of hair on the bathroom wall and also a clump of dust on the hairdryer net.
The bottled water as well as the tap water tasted a bit funny and felt slimy (you know the feeling you get when you have to wash your hands vigorously to get rid of that soapy feeling), but we googled and it’s probably just Barcelona’s water sewage system at it.
The wifi was strong, and the water pressure of the shower was great. Note the hotel does not provide bathroom slippers though.FromBRL 1,318

The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money.
