These apartments in p. dei signori are in a building in very central Verona in one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The apartments are modern, extremely well supplied with a kitchen/lounge as well as bedroom, (they vary in size and design), and fully serviced in that towels etc are changed daily, beds made (though not changed), and provided with ample plates, cutlery, etc as well as soap and shampoo for the very good shower. Storage space was more than ample, and there is a fridge, safe, and hot drink and expresso machine as well as cooking facilities. The front desk is manned 24/7 and very helpful. Prices are very high but not unlike top class hotels in a similar location, and there are innumerable places to get breakfast no further away than a restaurant would be in a large hotel. The lights and window blinds were very good indeed, though the controls were a challenge. Air-con and wifi both work very well. Apartments facing inward onto the square cost more, though we had one ‘at the back’ which was fine. The square is of course traffic-free, but it is possible to get a taxi to just outside the square, and the front desk can phone for one to pick up from the same spot (the rail station is rather too far to walk, especially with luggage).

This is truly a 5 star resort similar to 5 star status in the US. Wifi was super fast, AC was cold and beds were very comfortable. Also it was quiet inside which was a plus. The unit was super clean and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. Everything was as within a 5 minute walk. My picky teenager & husband were very pleased with the stay and wanted to return to rest while daughter & I shop. Plaza delle Erbe pop up shops and restaurants were next door. Architecture was impressive all around. Wish we would’ve stayed here the whole time and travelled up to Rome for the day instead. Try and catch a performance at the Arena and definitely try the Butcher of Verona steakhouse. I will return to Verona!
