Located in the city center, the transportation is very convenient. You can walk to the railway station, shopping malls and some attractions. The house is fully equipped and can cook by yourself. Friends who have large suitcases still have to think twice. There is no elevator. I carry two 28-inch boxes to the top floor by myself. Crashing

I had an EXTREMELY WONDERFUL stay at the Spires Serviced Apartment in Glasgow, the flat itself I am calling a penthouse, with open view windows from its open kitchen to lounge area to overlook the city of Glasgow, and the bed is super comfortable. All well quipped flat with all the things you need, including laundry/drying machine and dish washer (both detergents provided), even the cheese board is prepared!!!!!!! Staff is super friendly and professional, I had a little check-in contingency as the key wasn’t working and it was 6ish pm, the staff was on holiday but still came all the way within half an hour to help me change the key! Super impressive! She greets everyone at reception all the time with a big smile!!!!! Excellent stay experience I have ever had in Glasgow!!!!!!! Love it so much!!!!!

The hotel is very conveniently located in the city center. The facilities in the room are complete, but the hygiene is a little flawed. For example, the towel rack in the bathroom was not cleaned, and the toilet cleaner was not flushed clean. At first I thought it was... red.

The hotel is very good. Although the building is old, it doesn't feel old. It feels rich and historical. The murals on the corridors show the glory of the past. The bed in the suite was very comfortable, and the sofa turned into a bed for the children to sleep well. The breakfast was great. Excellent location, right across Glasgow Central train station. We arrived in the evening and due to overbooked situation for our room category that we booked, we were allocated a smaller room for 1st night. However, Rachel at the reception was very friendly and apologetic and on goodwill, extended 2 breakfast for us. The next day we moved into the room type we booked which was much much more spacious than the we stayed earlier.

As a solo traveler I got a bed in 8 mixed room, the price was affordable as i need a space just to sleep. The bathroom was clean, the room mates were respectful. The only problem was the common room( the hall ) it was closed most of the times, either for cleaning or for activity from 3rd party , which I accept that and I don’t mind it at all, but some people does. Overall I love it and I’ll do it again

This was the best value-for-money hotel we've stayed at in the UK. The room had ceilings over 4 meters high, was spacious, and featured a super king-size bed with a perfectly balanced mattress and high-thread-count, comfortable bedding. The blackout curtains were excellent, much better than many other hotels. The service was also very good. Highly recommended! Our only minor hiccup was when we drove onto the street and saw a sign saying 'authorised vehicles only,' which made us a bit nervous. We didn't dare unload our luggage right away and had to drive around the block, which was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, everything was great, and it was lovely to take a stroll nearby after dinner. The breakfast was significantly better than what you'd typically find at a standard budget chain. However, a friend in another room I booked did complain about low water pressure in the shower.

The location is good. Not in the middle of centre but not far from the CBD. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, very convenient. There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel; Nando, Costa, Burger king. There is a subway station near the hotel, just 10 mins walk. The room is ibis’s standard. The toilet and shower room is separate. In the shower room, only head to toe bath, no hair dryer but you can borrow at the reception. The staff are nice and friendly. All in all, recommend when stay in Glasgow.
