This hotel seriously lacks everything. They don't provide water; you have to buy it yourself. They only give you one pair of slippers, and if you ask for more, they flat-out refuse. The bathroom only has bath towels—no hand towels or large towels at all. The kitchen floor was incredibly sticky when we walked in, like it hadn't been mopped. Forget about any welcome fruit. The TV only has YouTube, and the Bluetooth speaker wouldn't connect. The location is a bit out of the way. The only positives are that it's quiet and the bedding is decent. Honestly, for this price, you're better off staying in the city center. The Park Hyatt isn't much more expensive and is superior in every way. I really regret switching to this place just for a suite.

I booked two hotels on the Southbank of the Yarra River this time. First, let's talk about Crown Towers, which is located on the western side. My first impression was its luxury. It's connected to a casino and surrounded by high-end luxury stores, with a grand lobby. My second impression was how friendly it is to Chinese guests; all the elevator buttons have both Chinese and English annotations, and there were many festive elements for Chinese New Year. The room faced the Yarra River, offering a nice view, and there were various restaurants downstairs, making dining convenient. Walking west from the hotel, away from the bustling Flinders Street Station, I experienced the quiet and less crowded Yarra River after an evening rain. It was then that I truly understood why Melbourne has been repeatedly voted the world's most livable city. It was a refreshing and comfortable feeling that made me exclaim, 'Life can truly be this wonderful!' If you have ample time, I highly recommend staying a night by the Yarra River. I suggest booking a hotel on the western side; though the location might be slightly more secluded, it offers a convenient way to experience the Yarra River away from the city's hustle and bustle. Like Sydney's Crown Towers, Melbourne's Crown Towers is also lively and a bit flamboyant. This doesn't quite align with the quiet and understated elegance typically associated with luxury hotels, but perhaps that's why its high price offers good value for money. The pool was crowded in the evening but wonderfully empty in the morning for a great swim. Additionally, it's very close to DFO South Wharf (Melbourne's largest outlet mall). We didn't know this at the time and ended up taking a taxi from our subsequent hotel near the University of Melbourne. If we had known, it would have been much more convenient to just stroll over from here.

Great location and very clean hotel The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-8 minute walk to the city center around Flinders Street and Flinders Street Station, making it very easy to get around Melbourne. The hotel is very clean, and the check-in area on Level 7 is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating if you arrive early and need to wait before check-in. The facilities are quite new and well maintained. Daily housekeeping was excellent and consistently done to a high standard. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Melbourne in the future!

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.

Check-in is on the 7th floor. I got a room upgrade and was able to check in early. The Southbank area is very quiet, and since Melbourne city center isn't too big, it's pretty convenient to get everywhere; it's not out of the way at all. The pool is quite small though. Breakfast was okay, but there were no Chinese options. You can see hot air balloons in the morning though, which is cool!

Booked at oaks last minute funny enough for oaks day at Flemington for three night trained it in mid morning left bags at hotel and took off for the day I received a warm greeting and location close to the train station just a 5 mixture walk . Came back to hotel later afternoon to be given a beautiful warm greeting once again and to arrive on level 29 that I asked for a high level was granted I open up my room to the most beautiful room with the most beautiful view of Melbourne . Not only that but was given a two bedroom apartment that was a absolute treat for me as I was catching up with family and they came and visited me in my room and was able to stay over with me one night more arrived over that weekend for afternoon tea and we watched the races together they also loved my room and the view just as much as I did thank you . As a single traveler I felt safe and was able to walk all around Melbourne as the location was amazing for me . With 24 hour reception and friendly team to help was an absolute delight to stay there must say was the top hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I hope I can return to the same service very soon .but I don’t know how I’m going to top off my experience . Not sure if I can explain how great and relaxed I felt staying in such a well run hotel at a great cost and as a person that loves a bit of fancy every now and then you really did impress me well done to all you truly made me one very happy lady thank you . Last note nothing was ever a problem had a beautiful shower so clean and spotless kitchen washer dryer how amazing how am I going to top this place off . Best city stay ever can’t wait to see you again .

It seems the room has not been cleaned thoroughly. There is still dust in several areas, and the kitchen , oven and refrigerator do not appear very clean, as if they were not wiped properly. It also feels like the cleaning was done a little hastily, as I had to request garbage bags, dish soap, and cloths from reception. In addition, when the towels were replaced, they were not arranged neatly but left in a pile, which did not look very organized.

First of all, the hotel does not have a reception desk. You need to contact the service staff to check in later or soon. If you don't speak English well, do your homework in advance or choose another room. Geographical environment: 8-10 minutes walk to crown business district (take a 6-year-old child). The Crown business district is full of food, shopping and casinos. There are many supermarkets in the downstairs for a minute or two. You can buy food and cook, and provide daily living supplies. Very convenient. Room facilities: The hotel is a bit like a homestay. In a comprehensive apartment. You need to swipe the magnetic card to get in and out, which is relatively safe. The overall space is large, but both bedrooms are 1.5 meters small beds. The kitchen has pans, cutlery, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. But there is no seasoning. Cooking a light meal should be OK. Due to the folklore nature, there is no daily cleaning service. There is a swimming pool in the building. Parking charges, $ 25 a day. Just come in and out. Friends who drive are highly recommended. City parking is too expensive. It's a good deal to take a taxi. Disadvantages: 1. Give Ctrip. When booking, it was not marked clearly, I thought there was a hotel with a front desk. Stupidly arrived and found out that it was a homestay type. The current homeowner couldn't get through to the phone, and there was no place to stop and jump straight.
