Much to be desired here. It's a work in progress I suppose because they are in the middle of renovations, but ... it just doesn't meet Marriott standards. The HVAC in our room did not work at all and the heat index was 90 degrees outside. There were no rooms to move to and no fans to be offered. There were spiders in the room. Each toilet (we were in a two bedroom/ bath) screeched at a high/ loud pitch every time you flushed them. Something was not right with the plumbing. The room number was off the wall and in the middle of the hallway. I understand construction / innovation was underway, but even knowing that, it was not a good stay. I was told multiple times someone was coming to fix the HVAC, but on my last call it didn't sound like that was ever the plan. The only real bright side was Sharon, the assistant GM was available to talk to in the morning and handled my complaints/ concerns like a pro. She was sympathetic, caring and listened without being defensive. She made the situation right with a refund (I was using money and points) and I could not be more pleased with how she handled it. She apologized and did not make excuses. I really want to give her credit for making a terrible stay not so bad. Other than Sharon, I would NOT stay in this hotel again unless I saw renovations were done and reviews improved.

Our family stayed here for a night on our way up north. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The hotel was quiet and while the hot tub is being renovated, the kids were able to use the pool. A positive experience overall.
