I love this hotel. Rooms are good. Food is great. Staff is exceptional. Mr. Fazil at Goji restaurant makes sure to take good care of you! Including getting items outside of the menu. We requested him for Dal Tadka and Masala Chai and he duly obliged!

Reviews From Real Travelers
I stayed here for 5 nights and will definitely stay again - this will be a spectacular hotel once the staff work out all the kinks as they are still in pre-opening stage. Importantly, the senior staff from GM, to Exec Assistant Mgr to Director of Revenue are all excellent, welcoming and resolved the many issues we had - some big and some small. They are true hoteliers and are why I will come back again (the owners of the property too are excellent people with great vision). The team was so friendly and fixed things - that's how it should be. Problems arise but how they are fixed are important. Here's some of the good (and bad). 1) the hardware of the property is gorgeous. If you can afford it, definitely stay in a St. Regis Suite. It's 100-110 sqm and worth the money. My son said it's one of the best designed suites he has ever been in 2) the food and beverage team are excellent. The quality of the food is good and they remembered everything my son and I eat - from extra nuts and berries to avocado. Food is tasty and service in all of the restaurants we dined in was excellent 3) location is good and attached to Via, a new happening mall with lots and lots of great food choices. We ate in the mall from french to Indian to salads. Easy to get into the city and get to the sites so a great location. 4) Housekeeping was great. I never noticed housekeeping In a positive way but the housekeeping here is excellent Mid 1) gym is ok, not huge. It's reasonably good with lots of fruit and water which is great but the dumbbells are weird. They go 4 kgs, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 and skip the 10 etc. That was hard for me to progress with weights properly. They also didn't have heavy enough plates for the barbells or a rack to put the plates when not using. They had an odd storage bin. I could get a decent enough workout but not an excellent one Bad 1) Butler service and concierge are mixed into one team and do everything - from recommending tours to fixing IT issues. Too many of the butlers don't have enough Saudi experience. Thus, they had too many things to do and not enough local experience which made it difficult sometimes for them to help us, from recommending a restaurant to booking a tour. I ended up asking the front desk staff most of the time for recommendations as they were all from Saudi and knew the local market better Every butler was friendly (except one who I actually fought with. I don't think I've ever fought with a hotel colleague before) but didn't have the right training to recommend restaurants, sites and fix IT issues. But in a few months, with practice, they'll be great. I had terrible internet connectivity issues and one butler said originally said everyone has this issue (not true) and then said the telecon company said it was my phone and thus ”out of his hands”. That's not the right answer. Eventually after 20 hours the internet issue was fixed but after far too much anger. The butler even told me to leave the hotel and fi

The debut of the St. Regis brand into Saudi Arabia, The St. Regis Riyadh opened in November 2023 as part of a compact, high-end mixed-use development in the western part of the city. As a brand enthusiast who happened to have work in the Diplomatic Quarter across the road, this new hotel was a natural choice for my quick trip to Riyadh. LOCATION: As referenced above, The St. Regis Riyadh forms the hospitality component of the new VIA Riyadh project, a small, luxurious development housing shops, restaurants and the hotel. Located in the western part of the city directly adjacent to the famous [or infamous, depending on how you look at it] Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, and across the Jeddah Road thoroughfare from the Diplomatic Quarter [an affluent, checkpoint-guarded residential district where the majority of embassies in the Kingdom are located]. The property is approximately 15 minutes away [on a good day] from the central artery of Olaya Street, where one can find many businesses, shops and eateries. King Khalid International Airport [RUH] is located approximately 40 minutes away by car, although this time can extend dramatically if one is caught in the city’s notorious traffic. ENTRANCE/LOBBY: The overall VIA Riyadh development is low-slung, and designed in a modern, Najdi-inspired look to pay homage to the local surroundings. With the hotel situated inside, the guest room floors only extend up three stories and contribute to a very intimate feel - fitting given the low room count of only 83 units. The hotel has a dedicated driveway and entrance at the rear of VIA Riyadh; this is important to note, since many Uber/taxi drivers are unaware of the hotel and will most likely drop you off on the Jeddah Road side of VIA Riyadh, which means you have to cross the central courtyard and enter the hotel from the terrace entrance. Signage isn’t clearly available within the courtyard, so I got lucky when I turned right and found the hotel on that side. The property’s driveway entrance is a discreet one, with a simple glass doorway and branded awning opening onto the beautiful lobby with sit-down island reception desks to the left, the lobby lounge straight ahead, and the rest of the lobby, lounge and St. Regis Bar [read: dry] to the right. A wave-shaped chandelier curls and unfolds above, and sets the tone for a refined stay ahead. Upon check-in, I was greeted by an energetic Saudi team member who acknowledged my Titanium status, informed me of my upgrade from a standard room to a St. Regis Suite, and provided information about the property. I was offered assistance with my luggage and an escort to my suite, which I declined given my travel with only a carry-on, and was shown to the lifts to the left of the reception. ROOMS: I was assigned a St. Regis Suite on the first floor, which was located off the elevator landing. A tall door opened onto a landing with a guest washroom on the right, and a table and artwork on the left that in turn led to a open-plan r

At checking in the service and kindness of staff was impeccable . The rooms are clean, hence the two stars. But even in the 6th floor they remain noisy, due to bad location - traffic wise, and they are outdated without enough daylight. Furthermore, due to early leaving in urgency (medical reasons) my stay was shortened with 1 day. The hotel granted me a refund which was perfect (again good service.) But now, a month later, I am still waiting for it… This hotel takes down the Marriott standards. Rooms: Outdated, dark, prison like as many described, but clean! Horeca: Great restaurants! Good service in restaurants. Additional details: office services and finalizations of business matters are poor and below any standards I ever experienced. If you are in the unlikely situation of needing extra assistance and get into an unfortunate position to receive additional help, in this case a refund for one day which was granted, you cannot count on thus Marriott. .

The hotel as a whole is OK, the service of the staff is very good and very enthusiastic. The first day of check-in happened to be Father's Day, and the staff sent a small cake. There is a business center on the first floor, you can bring your own USB flash drive to print, free of charge. The location is on the side of the main road, and it is very convenient to take a taxi (Uber). The only thing missing is that the hotel does not have a foreign currency exchange service. In fact, it is difficult to find a place to exchange currency in Riyadh.

Staff are a top of respect and morality, welcome and help to solve any problem, even if it's not related to residence. Thanks especially to Professor Renad for her elegant and beautiful efforts to facilitate my stay at a top in the wonderful hotel, the hotel is elegant and very clean, the room cleaning periodically, and the hotel location is close to everything you need.

The first time I stayed, the lobby was a few words, and there was free tea! The room was clean and tidy, there was a small bathtub 🛀, it was comfortable! The hotel restaurant has a buffet, which is more than $ trial, very wrong!

I am writing this review to make future visitors aware that the JW Marriot in Riyadh lied to me about laundry charges, removed them from my bill, then went back and charged my credit card without even consulting me. I recently stayed in JW in Riyadh for a business trip in September 2023. I have stayed there in the past with no issues. The hotel is okay in the sense that the rooms are modern and nice, but the service is always below par for Marriot. The reception is not always staffed or there is always a long line (even at hours when there isn't a checkout rush). The staff almost never understands what is going on or how to fix a problem. When you call for room service or anything, it always takes forever or no one responds sometimes. Most recently, I stayed there and got suspicious that my company laundry allowance was not being recorded in my bill (this is before check out). My company prenegotiated rates for my stay at Marriot, so I get two pieces a day for free. I went to discuss the matter of my laundry with someone in the front desk. After the typical waiting and being told they will review it and get back to me (the front desk person just candidly told me he didnt even know how to check in the system), I go back to the front desk and they assure me everything is fine. The guy tells me he verified in the system that I am receiving my company rate and that I will not be charged. Upon check out, there are all these laundry bills and I complain. They go into the system and assure me that they will remove them from the bill. They do so and I pay my bill without the charges and leave, thinking everything is fine. On my flight out of town, I get a random email from the hotel management saying that I owe a laundry balance and so they charged my credit card! I emailed them back explaining the situation, and that I have stayed there before. They said that at the time of booking they put it in the system not as a company rate but personal, and so I had to pay a week's worth of laundry. Without informing me, they just charged my credit card the full amount. No request, nothing, just auto charged it. Obviously I am going to contest it with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous that they wouldn't even just go back and fix it; I've literally stayed there a number of times. Not going back again...

The hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.

I visited with my friend for a Thursday evening seafood buffet at their Seven restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and ambiance is really lovely. Good variety of choices where you don’t feel there is a lot of waste. They grill fish and freshly at your selection. Our server Abhishek invited us to try many things and turned our attention to dishes that we didn’t notice. Will certainly come back again.

The hotel is very new, the food is average, the location is not good, the most traffic jam area, it is not convenient to park and pick up people The service staff is very enthusiastic, but the efficiency is very low, and the consumption of staying in the hotel does not accept billing

After a terrible experience at another nearby hotel, we were fortunate to find this gem! If you're seeking luxury, excellent service, and English-speaking staff, this is the place to be. The hotel is exceptionally clean, boasts a perfect location, and offers great restaurant options. The gym and spa facilities are fantastic. While room service was a bit slow late at night, it didn't overshadow the overall greatness of our stay. If you're looking for a fantastic experience and top-notch service, this is the place to go!

Great hotel, perfect location as it is just opposite my office. Staff was absolutely wonderful, right from the reception desk to staff at restaurant, at concierge desk and also the In-room dining service personnel. Pervinder Singh was specially outstanding with his courtesy, sincerity, professionalism as he delivered dinner for me in the room. Great customer service attitude from him. Daniel at Concierge desk was phenomenal in his support. Cleanliness and decor of the room was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The services were great, the breakfast was great and the lounge service was amazing. I need to especially thank Amal for her service in the club lounge. She was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable and helped out with any questions I had. She really made the stay even better and because of her, I will always upgrade for club lounge services at the Méridien. If you’re coming to Riyadh for a visit, I highly recommend le Méridien. You’re close to everything and the hotel services are great. I do recommend also upgrading for the club lounge access.

As we walk in the hotel, the door man greets us by names and open the doors, the reception team were helpful and warm, explained and oriented us. The service team at the restaurant as well as the chefs were top notch. Great personalized conversation with everyone that I have met. Highly recommended! Cannot wait to go back!

Great friendly service, well-appointed room. Nespresso coffee machine in room. Sumptuous breakfast selection. Had the buffet dinner there too - great selection of kebab meats. On the day I checked out, I needed to work during the day - I kept my bags with the concierge after checking out and when I returned to the hotel later, they let me change my clothes in the spa area. Thank you!

Thank you to Shakib in MeNa restaurant for taking such good care of us after we arrived late after a tiring full day of city tour for dinner at 10pm. He fed us thoroughly with hot fare, and ensured that we left full and satisfied, then made us laugh some more about his stories of working in Jeddah and moving from Bangladesh.

Overall good, but breakfast quality could be better. Rooms are renovated - that was nice. The food quality via room service could be higher, but overall it was alright and orders were delivered pretty fast. Staff is polite and accommodating. Definitely not the fault of the hotel - but the traffic in that area was terrible in the evenings. If next time I choose another hotel, that would be just because of the traffic situation. Sheraton was great!

Very basic rooms but OK for a stay. But it's an ibis! I noticed the room price triple in the 5 weeks I spent in the hotel, the staff say it was because Riyadh Season was underway, but that's 6 months a year! Location is perfect with many facilities in walking distance - malls, Kingdom tower food court, restaurants, laundry, etc. There is a coffee shop in the bank lobby next door from 7am, need to be wearing trousers to get in!. Staff were fine, housekeeping were very friendly. Gym was very limited with a couple of treadmills and a pair of 2kg dumbbells! Breakfast was quite good - although they don't open until 7am, they offer a early takeaway breakfast pack depending on who you speak to! But the chef's are really friendly and do a great egg dish! After 5 weeks it gets a little repetitive, but they suggested a few alternatives. I suppose that's what you get for staying so long!! Drainage in the showers was a bit slow and a few strange odours every now and then, but nothing outrageous. Overall, pretty good with no major qualms.

The location of the hotel is undoubtedly very good, the room is also large, and it is convenient to watch Ronaldo. However, there were some minor incidents. I felt there was a slight problem with the hotel having rooms outside the hotel. I just started planning to book a luxury room at noon, but in the afternoon I saw that all the rooms were taken off the shelves and they were all suites. Finally, I booked a suite. When I checked in, I saw all the single-priced rooms. After it was released, I paid more than 3,000 to book a suite. I don't know if the air environment in the other room was dry or something, but my nose felt uncomfortable.

This hotel happens to be close to the airport and the city. They boast a full spa - but, nothing was working when I was there. It is rather disappointing when you base your decision on spending some time in a steam bath. Swimming pool is heated, but indoor and in an awkward place in the basement. Rooms are small but clean. Housekeeping is daily and is done with respect. Showers have strong water pressure. Room service is quick, but food here is basic, including the breakfast. In fact you can only eat scrambled eggs - don't expect anything more fancy. Overall, there are other choices in the city - choose well.

I just checked in around 7:30 pm with a fully paid booking , the lady at the reception told me sorry we only have one room available and its (smoking) , i told her but i dont smoke , i dont mind as long as the room doesn’t smell like smoke if it does i will want to change it, she said ( even if you want to change it, it doesn’t matter because this is the only room available) . I went to the room cause I’m tired and it smells very bad , no windows or balcony. I called them and they sent someone with air freshener. So I’m literally forced to stay in this room with no other options and no curtesy or mindfulness of my preferences. Very bad experience from the first 5 minutes I stepped in the hotel.

I usually try to find something positive to say about a place, but with this hotel it is almost impossible. If there was something good to say I think that going out of business would be the kindest thing. Everything is below any standard, but especially the service level of this hotel deserves the mention of being just horrible. Some daily picks: sound insulation is not available, non-smoking rooms are smelling of tobacco, A/C is making the loudest possible noise and the bedbugs are making attacks. Then you try to change rooms and the personnel inform that they will transfer the luggage to another room during a days absence and you arrive late in the evening just to notice that nothing has happened… On top of that when you get out of the shower naked a guy steps in with his luggage saying that he has a reservation for the same room.
